I presumed I needed a downspout at the point of the overflow and asked Wills for a quote for a downspout. Rather than give me a quote he came up to Delray Beach today to look at the problem and found that a plant had grown in the gutter and when he removed it the amount of water that came pouring out of the nearest leader tool nearly 5 minutes! That was the problem! No leader needed and I tried to give him a $10 tip for coming by which he refused. If that's not an example of great service and saving me what I anticipated was a few $100 then nothing is.

I called him over a week ago for a job, and he quoted me a fair price and scheduled a date the following week to do the work. I'm redoing my backyard and needed to coordinate his job with some stucco repair and paint work from other subs. After five days of leaving several messages and texts, he gave absolutely no reply. I'm usually willing to give somebody the benefit of the doubt. There are several reasons someone might not reply... Maybe there was an accident....maybe something happened to their family, etc. Having said that, I figured I would try to call him from a different line than the one I had been previously using to leave messages and texts from. SHOCKER!!! He picked up on the first ring, then proceeded to tell me that he had to go to Mexico because his grandmother had passed away, and he had to deliver her body down there. Wow, that is completely tragic, and I wouldn't want anybody to go through that. He also claimed he would call me back within the hour to firm things up for the next day. Well after 4+ hours, that never happened. He just continued to string me along. Based on a lot of the one-star yelp reviews I read....Somehow, I have the funny feeling that he's had a lot of relatives pass away and have to be delivered down to Mexico. If you're looking for any kind of rain gutter work to be done on your house, Marcelino and the other folks at First Choice may be a good fit for you. If you like being quoted great pricing, then ghosted, lied to, inconvenienced, and left feeling like you completely wasted your time with a moron, then give First Choice a call. Marcelino and his business will fit all those wickets perfectly. I realize times are tough for contractors and subs right now. We're in the middle of a down cycle. Honesty, integrity, and being responsible for your decisions and how they affect others go a long way these days.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!…read more I hired Santa Fe Roofing to replace my roof fascia, missing tiles and starter boards around the entire perimeter of my home, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations! To say I am happy is an understatement -- I am truly ecstatic with the final results. From the very beginning, the sales team (Tarey, Chris, and Monty) was professional, respectful, and punctual. The crew that worked on my home was incredible. They worked tirelessly each day with excellent attention to every detail. They even painted the fascia before installing it to perfectly match my home. They discovered that the original roofer had not installed proper roof paper underneath the metal flashing, which had caused wood deterioration. They corrected this issue and replaced all the fascia as per the original work order. They also tuned up my chimneys and pipes. The end result is clean, straight, and looks brand new. I was especially impressed that they also offer rain gutters! The gutters were installed with superb perfection! They offered a variety of gutter colors. The choice of bronze gutters turned out beautifully and complete the whole project perfectly. The attention to detail is/was outstanding, and they left my property spotless every single day, including the final day of installing all fascia etc. I feel so much better knowing my home is now properly protected. For anyone looking for honest, high-integrity, and high-quality roofers in Oceanside or North County, look no further. Santa Fe Roofing is the company to hire. The quality of work for the price was excellent. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to all my friends, clients, and family.
