As Pasadena goes, parking can be a little tough but its worth circling for street parking. I got there super late on a Sunday but was lucky enough to nab the last kouign amann from the case. Since I'd never been there before, I also picked up a chocolate bar with hazelnuts. I went for my usual iced vanilla latte but added their cold foam. The girl taking my order was very nice and even apologetic about their limited pastry options. I knew I'd made a mistake by getting there so late on a weekend. But I'm just so glad I got what I ordered. The coffee was delightful! It was perfectly creamy! The cold foam was a great addition to the drink. The kouign aman was out of this world! Perfectly crusty and caramelized. It's one of the best ones I've ever had. I cant wait to go back and try other items. Lesson learned...I'll be there early!

We had lunch plans nearby, so grabbed one to go to take home and share with my dad. Ordered a pain au chocolat (chocolate croissant). While it wasn't as fresh 8 hours later (nor did I expect it to be!!!!) it was large, the finish was beautiful and the chocolate high quality. I think if I had eaten it right away, it would have been even better. However $7 is on the high end for a single pastry. Would I come back here for the croissant and/or to try other offerings if I was in the area? yes.

We went in and my goodness the place is colorful, like a circus of random things of toys, trinkets, accessories and fridges full of packed desserts. I was eyeing their fresh slices of pies and cakes, especially the carrot cake (someone before us bought one and I was curious too), but their late chocolate chip cookies looked super good, too bad the ice cream sandwiches in the fridge only had snickerdoodles, but their hand written menu and ice cream flavors was our final decision. Today's Flavors definitely means something special, but their triple organic milk was unique. It tasted like fresh sweet milk, tastes even better on top of a brownie and with an extra topping (chocolate balls). More people started coming in and given the space we decided to go back with our ice cream, they have chairs outside where lots of people were eating their ice cream too. Overall, I can tell this place is special, very cute and the staff are very friendly. May come back for that carrot cake next time.

We got a triple milk ice cream with a brownie just as they handed me the bowl I saw some chocolate crunch balls and they added it in for me for a dollar. It's a bit pricey but it's a mom and pop shop so it's to be expected. I'll come back to try some home made pie

We told the lady that we can't have drinks that are too sweet, she was very willing to make adjustments by adding more tea since the sweetness was hard to control with real fruit juices. Only reason I didn't give a 5-star was because the bobas were slightly hard. Other toppings we had were excellent. We walked pretty far away before we discovered this, I'm pretty confident that if we found it earlier, the lady would have done something for us. Tip: If you're going to have the bobas topping, maybe ask them to let you sample one first?
