Unsafe. Unsanitary. Unkept. Un-cool. Unorganized. Underwhelmed. Under-dressed passengers. Underwear on the floor.

It's quick and easy and always gets me to my doctor appointments on time....love, too that the stop is just down the street from my home.

If parking is a bigger deal to you I've heard the 22nd Street Station (one stop from here closer to San Francisco) has more residential street parking. There's one lane for trains going to San Francisco and another going to San Jose. If you're taking the southbound train, you'll have to take the stairs or elevator and cross the bridge. Note that they do not have restrooms. Depending on which zone you're getting on and off will determine the price that you pay. Just remember that you need to pay before you board. You can scan your Clipper card at their kiosks or buy one on-site. Pro tip: if you have an iPhone you can set up a digital transit card and refill your transit card with your credit card. It's not located in the best part of town but as long as you stay alert of your surroundings and avoid being here at night as much as possible, you should be fine.

You can see the Cow Palace from this station. It is a bit of a walk to businesses, and there in an hour between stops , so it is not too convenient if you don't get there at the right time. It is a pretty quiet station.

Glen Park is my BART station. I mean it is the closest to my house in San Francisco. But beyond…read morethat, I claim it aesthetically. I am not alone either, as others have praised it for its Brutalism. The style is not one I favor generally. The Embarcadero, which isn't even pure Brutalism, displays its flaws. It is deliberately off putting and inspiring of human distress. Or if not intentional then with reckless disregard of the needs of most persons for an assurance they are welcomed and valued. The architectural school, however, is enjoying a renaissance because of how it photographs. The massed concrete and simple forms look great and even profound rendered as social media squares the size of thumbnails. The discipline is evident. The John Wick like commitment to a vision more or less indifferent to emotional yearnings for a sense of community. If you have any interest, then, in seeing a magnificent example of the maligned movement, this is worth a stop. If you are a street photographer, it is a half hour well spent. But if you are just commuting back and forth, it is another station in a vast system. As they go, it performs its function. A work friend was shocked to learn people review anything other than restaurants on this platform. I regard it as a good use of Yelp to do so. Perhaps this will help out an aspiring architect or a photographer with this interest.

This is your standard Bart station. There are about 4…read moreclipper refill machines outside the station. This station has access to all trains. It's a little dirty since it's more open air than a station like civic center, Powell, Montgomery, or embarcadero.

It just seemed like that, but at the same time, every thing on the bus was moving extra slow and trippy. This had nothing to do with how I was feeling. Finally I pulled the stop cord, thinking we'd stop by my house. NO. The stop he was going for was mega far from where I thought it would be, and it ended up that the stop I thought I was going to use was on the other side of the street, which I found out when I walked far up a hill and saw the stop- I've never seen that stop before. I'm still learning the routes. Anyways, I hope I get to ride with this guy again, it was a real carnival style thrill. Best bus ride so far.

I won't go into the long, complicated history of Muni's 15 bus, mostly because I don't remember…read more But back in the day, there was an easy way to remember which Muni bus lines went through Chinatown: The multiples of 15. So the 15, the 30, and the 45 all went through Chinatown. When the T-Third Street came into existence in 2007, I believe they got rid of the 15--or was it the 10-Townsend?--because it duplicated much of the T-Third's route. But that's not really true, since the T-Third wouldn't extend all the way to Chinatown until January 2023, but there was duplication on 3rd Street. Wait, wait, wait! I said I wouldn't go into that history. The 15-Bayview Hunters Point Express has a long, complicated name, but it serves a very important purpose: namely, efficiently transporting passengers from Bayview to the Financial District, and vice versa. Yes, its service is redundant, as most of its line shares the T's line on 3rd Street, but the T-Third runs at grade, meaning that it has to deal with all the same cross streets and signals as regular cars and buses do, at least along 3rd Street, so the 15 is often faster than the T, at least for short trips on 3rd Street. I often use the 15 and T interchangeably. If I'm on 3rd Street and I need to go north or south, I pull up NextBus and find out which one is coming first. I hop on that one. The 15 is also useful for when they're doing service work on the T or if there's any kind of track issue that backs trains up along the line. The 15's bus stops are generally past the street of its intersections, which is mainly true of the T-Third's stations, so it's easy enough to wait for either train or bus right at the corner. You'll definitely be able to see the train long enough ahead of time to cross the street to the station entrance.

"Jesus, take the wheel Take it from my hands"…read more(Carrie Underwood) I cannot believe how much of a positive experience we had with our very first Waymo driverless car ride. I downloaded the app, attached a credit card, watched three videos and I was good to go. We set a pickup spot at my hotel and said we wanted a ride to the Exploratorium. You do all this pretty much how you use the Uber or Lyft app. I watched the app track the Waymo in real time on my app, and sure enough... it pulled up right where we were standing. We got into the car, closed the door, put on our seat belts, pressed a button when we were ready, and...........off we went with no human being in the drivers seat, no human being stopping at traffic signs or red lights, no human being stepping on the gas or brake pedals, and creepily enough, no human being turning the steering wheel. It wasn't scary, I wasn't nervous. Quite the contrary, it was relaxing, calm, and absolutely amazing. The Waymo drives very cautiously, it doesn't take chances, cut people off, rush through yellow lights, and proceeds slowly through intersections and turns. It behaves a hell of a lot better than some human drivers. I know its not perfect, and I know there are many stories out there reporting on flawed trips. But our trip was enjoyable, smooth, and 100% successful. We really do live in amazing times, don't we?

This drive to the airport hotel which should've been about 50 minutes took us 1 hour 30 minutes.
