This place was great! Food preparation was a lot faster than the other places I've visited in Miami. I had the hangover burger & it was delicious! burgers can be cooked medium or well done. However the restaurant was a lot smaller than I would have guess but you can eat outside on the street so it is not a big deal. This is a great little hole in the wall by the beach. From the second you walk in you are greeted by the kind cashier who will hand you a menu. You can sit inside or outside. I got the bleu cheese burger and I am not lying when I say this is the BEST burger I've ever had in my entire life. Big, juicy, high-quality meat. Delicious crispy fresh bacon and real bleu cheese. I was in the mood for fish and saw that they had hit on the menu. When I asked the girl at the counter what kind of fish it was she did not know, worse the chef/cook didn't either. All they knew is that was white fish that came in a box of frozen fish. That is not very inspiring when they do not even know what they have. Out of shear laziness, I ordered the burger to go. It was better than the one I had at BurgerFi, but really only an average burger - nothing special. I'll start just after I ordered. Once I sat down to wait for my cheeseburger deluxe I started to look around the restaurant. The more I looked, the more nervous I got. The place was filthy. All of the air vents were covered in fuzzy lint. The light fixtures bright red pendant lights were gray on top and obviously hadn't been cleaned in years. The menu board was such a mess to read with things erased and remarked, very confusing. There are card board boxes stacked on the floor in the dining area along with a carton of tomatoes. If the owner would just go back and look at the picture of this place on Yelp from 5 years ago and take a look now, it is clear that there is no more pride in ownership. The owner needs to rekindle the flame or get out of the business. All that being said about how dirty the place is, the burger was pretty good. The bun however was very cold like it had been in the refrigerator. I guess if you don't care enough to keep your place clean, you probably don't care enough to serve a warm toasted bun. read more

Went over and had the "Hangover Burger" and I have to say, one of the better burger joints in NoBe. The burger was amazing! It had Jalapeños and a sunny side up egg. My taste buds where delighted! I also got the mozzarella sticks and some O-rings. Both, pretty delicious too. I have tried "Burger - Fi" right down the street and to be honest they are a rip off. Munchees has great food for reasonable prices. That works for me. A local, in the biz bartender. I don't know why people complain about prices for this place. This little hole-in-the-wall place is the tops! I've seen several reviews saying that the service isn't so great and I'm surprised about that. I live nearby and stop in here every so often to grab a quick meal. They've always been nice and helpful. I had the Johnny Fat Boy and upgraded to sweet potato fries. The burger was thick, juicy and cooked to order. I usually get medium and they seem to know how to get it right. The toppings are plentiful and fresh, they offer additional condiments (mustard or mayo on the side for example. They didn't skimp on the bacon either. The fries were kind of thick cut which allowed the good sweet potato flavor to come out. Yum! I would've taken a picture of my burger and fries but it didn't even cross my mind to submit a review until I'd already scarfed them down. I ordered from here several times because its convenient due to me living a few blocks down. The employees are VERY RUDE! I called to tell them to complain about their fries being old, (cold and hard) and they basically told me it was my fault because I didnt pick up the order in time. I literally live 3 blocks down...HOW?! I ordered again just in case it was my so called "late" arrival but every time the fries were HARD AND COLD! Called again to complain and once again they didn't apologize or take ownership. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Sooo I was a little torn by this review because they were my go to for turkey burgers UNTIL my last visit. The younger girl who answers the phone and takes orders not so friendly, but it's a tiny little while in the wall so you can't expect 5 star service. The turkey burgers are delicious. This review is ONLY about the lady that answers the phone, I have not been there nor tried the food because it never arrived. The woman on the phone Michelle was of no help at all, she was rude and seem not happy with her job. I ordered through GrubHub and after hour and a half my food was still not here, I called her and everytime she kept saying it was the traffic, which I can understand but the way she talked to me and the fact that she was not helpful or apologetic at all, her tone of voice and the way she responded earned a well deserved one star. They gave the driver a different address, different number and he said that it would be another extra hour and a half and when I called her to just let them know and apologise cause I was gonna cancel the order, she said: Well, I don't know you have to deal with GrubHub (which I know because i also work in Restaurants) but I just wanted them to know and understand that I was not willing to wait another hour, hour and a half for my food. She got all mad and kept saying that I have to cancel though GrubHub that the food was already made, that it was not her problem, that she doesn't know what I was gonna do cause food was made and delivered, etc. So thanks for not helping Michelle. Tonight my friends ordered a breaded chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese & a side Caesar salad. We also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. After a lengthy wait for our order, we took our order to go back to our apartment. Upon opening our bag we found that we did not receive a sandwich but only a chicken Caesar salad. Clearly there was a miscommunication & I called right away. The woman they put me on the phone with was extremely rude. I asked for her to deliver the sandwich that we never received & she demanded we repurchase the order for the sandwich. After I told her that we did not want to pay for their mistake she raised her voice with me telling me that I was "ridiculous" for asking for the order. I advised her to work on her customer service skills & she implied I did not know anything about the industry. I've worked in customer service for 10 years. The grilled cheese was delicious. This place really surprised me! The hotel I stayed at was within walking distance from Muncheez. When I first passed by I gave it no attention since it really doesn't look like anything special. One day my husband and I got really hungry, saw the good reviews and decided to give it a shot. So glad we did. Do not let the looks of this place fool you! I got the grilled chicken pita which was so good, but not compared to my husband's Hangover Burger. That was a freakin amazing burger, and I'm not even a huge fan of burgers. Probably the best chicken wings ("hot" variety) and (regular cheese)burger in South Florida. Not cheap for delivery BUT 1) we called with an order for delivery 30 minutes before they were closing. Their response: NO PROBLEM. 2) food arrived piping hot and fresh 3) quality was excellent. The driver was super polite too. Where do I even start? This place is by far THE BEST place to cure your muncheez lol. My fiance and I are always going there cause of our friends and we still can't get enough of the food. If it was up to me and my wallet I'd go there everyday! The wings are my absolute favorite. Perfect amount of sauce, the right texture, and not too spicy and not too plain. You can choose the different types of sauce you want, but if you want the one I described just get HOT. And if you're not a hot sauce person, go ahead and try the sweet chili sauce on the wings. My fiance loves the cheesy fries as much as I do. The sauce has a very creamy texture and just typing about it makes my mouth water. It might sound like I'm exaggerating, but just see for yourself. Best wings around, and best cheese fries. If you're not a big wings or cheese fries fan, go right ahead and order one of the burgers or another favorite of mine the grilled chicken sandwich.
