I have been told COVID and my neighborhood location including car break ins may possibly be to blame, somehow. I don't believe it. I am a senior with a perfect driving record and I am being targeted and exploited for financial gain. Shocking and reprehensible. I made the switch to another carrier yesterday. Shame on Mr. Dubose.

I have high standards for my insurance company as I use to sell auto insurance in my past life, right out of college. Our policies had a ton of minor errors that we had go back and forth to get rectified. The policies were all suddenly purchased without me OK-ing their purchase. I had asked them to wait until I made a decision on all my policy limits and then have them be purchased at the same time. I didnt complain since it saved me money, but when the policies came back I found a bunch of small errors. Tyler's team member claimed that it was fine for me to sign an incorrect declarations since they would be eventually corrected. You wont get responses to emails and then 3-4 days later a lot of things will happen without announcement or confirmation. I had to keep changing email subject lines to get their attention. Even after escalating to Tyler, and him confirming that the policy had been fixed, the policy still didnt have the requested changes. Their portal will have a partial view of the policies which defeats the purpose of having a single portal to get access to all policies. The absolute worst part about this is they don't seem to think any of it is their fault/problem unless you press them hard on it. No apologies, no acknowledgement of failures, nothing! It also makes me feel that is how they expect to operate and feel that you are being unreasonable expecting this level of care, concern and accuracy. Given all of this, I would be super worried about working with this group when I actually have a claim to file.

But mark my words - He is not on your side. He is not here to help you. He is here to rip. you. off. Find someone else. If you're not comfortable with English, find someone to help you translate. Allow me to explain. First, the deductible is 1% of the coverage, which is much higher than other providers, which is generally a fixed amount of $1,000-$2,000. Typically, this is to decrease premiums for those who don't anticipate making many too many claims. However, the premium that Duy charges you is also much more than other providers... Why? I called an agent (Henry), and he tried to explain to me that having a higher deductible is a good thing, and something I should pay more for. Seeing that he works in insurance, I don't think he is so clueless to really believes something like that. It leads me to the only explanation is that he is maliciously preying on folks who don't really know how insurance works in order to rip them off for decades. Oh, and once you start probing too much, Henry's attitude makes a complete 180 and becomes rude and impatient. If you do business with Duy, you will regret it. You may not regret it today, or tomorrow. But you will live to regret it eventually. That's what happened to us.
