Moving to the area, I had to update my auto insurance. While at it I needed to add renters'…read moreinsurance too. My carrier put me over to Secord as my handler and so far, so good. Each time I've gotten on the phone with them to handle things, it's always been pleasant. I won't name drop anyone, but I appreciate being helped in a friendly way when dealing with something that I'm not excited to have to do. When I kept getting notices of proof of insurance being required, I was helped out. I don't have a printer so that I could send these documents but thanks to my agent I could electronically sign, and they sent it directly to Progressive, who kept bugging me for the proof of coverage. So, this is a good start. I hardly ever spoke to my handlers back in NJ, and may not here either, but so far, I'm glad that they're pleasant to deal with.
