They have TVs all around the restaurant so no matter where you're sitting, you can still see the game really well. They also have pool tables and dart lanes, which are cool activities to keep you busy. One thing that surprised me was the $15 cover charge to get in for game day. I wasn't really expecting that, because they had no heads up on the reservation which I found odd. But considering how busy it was and how in demand the tables were, I guess it makes sense. Just something to keep in mind if you're planning to go for a big game. The atmosphere was definitely the highlight. It was loud, energetic, and everyone was really into the game. The service was good too. Our server was friendly and conversational. She was such a sweetheart and even moved our table so we could see the screen better. We had to wait a little for the food, but that's honestly expected when the restaurant is completely full. We got their wings and nachos to eat. Wings were decent we got their buffalo and the honey garlic. Both solid, didn't stand out much but their ranch was actually very yummy. The nachos on the other hand, DELICIOUS! Probably some of the best i've had at a pub. Very impressed! Super cheesy and full of so many toppings and sides, i'd literally come back just for them. Overall, cute spot! I'll definitely be visiting again.

I was in town for the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and as I explored the cuisine landscape, I finally tried Grace O'Malley's Irish Pub which was up the street from one of the screening venues. I was always down for a nice Irish pub, so I gravitated to this after an afternoon film. Opened over 20 years ago inside a historic building, this pub was named after Grace O'Malley, also known as "Granuaile", who was Ireland's famous 16th-century "Pirate Queen", defied gender roles to lead a seafaring clan, commanded a fleet of ships, levied taxes on shipping, engaged in political rebellion against English rule, and successfully negotiated face-to-face with Queen Elizabeth I. Would my presence be graced with a good time at this Irish pub!? PURCHASE(S) Gracie's House Lager Beer 16floz Draft ($6.00CAD HH x2): Bright amber color, malty aroma, light body, malty flavor, crisp finish, and bready malty aftertaste. A simple beer with not much nuance to it. Cauliflower Bites Appetizer ($16.00CAD): A decent portion size, these light golden vegetable puffs were rather lovely as you got burned by the scalding steam after the first bite. Definitely a nice bar snack while you babied a beer. SERVICE Only a handful of individuals were here when I arrived as I made my way to a stool at the bar where I was warmly greeted by a gorgeous young female bartender who handed me a menu. I honestly only wanted something small and quick, so I ordered a beer (THEY WERE OUT OF GUINNESS; HOW WAS THAT POSSIBLE!?) and an appetizer. The beer arrived immediately while the appetizer arrived about five minutes later. At that point, I just chilled, watched some TV, and planned the rest of my day. I decided to order another beer since it was on happy hour, and soon enough, I finished and headed out. There wasn't much interaction with any of the staff (I saw an older gentleman I assumed was the manager). Everything was easy-peasy with little communication, and I was fine with that - slainte! PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance): I was constantly in the area all day throughout the entire 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, so I simply walked. Otherwise, there were spots along the many main and surrounding streets, some nearby structures, numerous public transportation options, and rideshares - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A spacious floorplan with a mix of booths, tables, and bar stools to sit yourself down and enjoy the brick and wood facade that gave it a real nice old fashion pub feel. There was a stage for live performances, a nice-looking bar, and a small amount of Irish decorations. Plenty of natural lighting came in through the front doors and large windows while various electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were several TVs while rock music quietly played in the background. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Grace O'Malley's Irish Pub left me wanting more... especially a Guinness! Although I liked the appetizer, there wasn't much else after that. Sure, I probably didn't have enough to draw upon for a full assessment, but for an Irish pub to be out of Guinness was a glaring red flag in my opinion. And, maybe day-drinking wasn't a thing in Toronto, but it was their daily Happy Hour (3:00pm-6:00pm - $6.00 select drinks), and the place was virtually empty. I felt a sadness about this place as I drank my beers, ate my appetizer, and just kept to myself. The prices were comparable, the food was fine, and the service was what it was. Plus, I always preferred to support small mom & pop businesses. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $32.00CAD BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 3.0 STARS

Innis & Gunn Mangoes On The Run Fruited IPA Beer 5.0% ABV 20floz Draft ($11.00CAD): Dark strawberry color, fruity mango tropical aroma, low body, fruity hoppy mango sweet flavor, smooth finish, and slight bitter fruity mango tropical aftertaste. We went this past weekend and ordered two Ceasars, the pre tip total was about $22 CAD. We tipped, paid, and enjoyed the delicious drinks. Now, the bad. After a bit, we decided to order a couple more and encountered a different bartender. He showed us the total before he made the drinks (thankfully) and it was $36 CAD?? We said no thanks and went over to another bartender, asked how much it would be for two Ceasars, and he said "About $22" -- perfect. Cool. We ordered from him. We stayed a bit longer and had an absolute blast. So much fun, in fact, that we went back the next night. We figured the pricing thing was just a weird one-off issue. No such luck. We went to the bar and ordered two Ceasars (exact same drinks as the night before). The total? $44 CAD. DOUBLE. We asked the bartender about it and told her they'd charged us $22 the night before and she just shrugged and said "that's the price." After that, we realized the pricing thing was not a one-off issue, and we won't be going back. Which is a shame because aside from the weird bartenders, it was a great spot. Drink pricing shouldn't be contingent on whatever the bartender feels like at the moment. And future patrons, watch your total before you let them charge your card.

Great steak and an amazing garlic sauce!…read more I ordered the steak with fries and was really impressed with the steak. It was cooked to a perfect medium-rare -- nicely seared on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The fries were also crispy and delicious. The real surprise for me, though, was the garlic sauce that came with them. It was so good that I decided to try it with my steak, and it paired incredibly well. Definitely one of the highlights of the meal! The mushrooms, unfortunately, were just okay. Considering how expensive they were, I didn't think they were worth the price and probably wouldn't order them again. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant, which we appreciated. However, she did forget to bring us water and takeout containers, so we had to remind her. It was a minor inconvenience, but it did take away a little from the overall experience. Overall, the steak, fries, and especially that garlic sauce made for a great meal. I'd definitely come back for the steak and fries!

Franca and I had a Landing Pepperoni pizza (with fennel honey, which added a nice sweetness). The pizzas were really good and we both took half home. Paige was our server. She was friendly and took fabulous care of us. She left us alone to catch up but kept checking in on us.
