I was looking for a place to enjoy dinner with a friend where we could catch up. We went to Mulligan's Pub that is located by the Publix in Sawgrass Village. It was a great choice! Friendly attentive staff, clean restaurant, not loud until the live music started. Music was great, didn't get the name of band it was a group of 3 that were really good, some songs were a tad too loud, but overall great. Had the pretzel bites with beer cheese. Nothing spectacular, but they were good. The menu you had a good selection of dishes we decided to go with the classic fish and chips. There were two size options. One or Two pieces of fish, we opted for the small that came with one. It was the perfect size! The server brought my food out. It looked and smelled amazing. It came with coleslaw, french fries, and tarter sauce (delicious tarter) that was plated nicely. It was hot and fresh, the french fries were perfect. The fish was crisp, cooked great, a little bland but nothing a little salt couldn't fix, coleslaw was traditional and fresh. They also have a nice bar area that I look forward to trying out. I would recommend trying it out next time you are looking for a low key restaurant.

We were out running errands on a Saturday and decided to stop here for lunch. I am very grateful we did. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, but we sat inside because it was a little cool. My mother in law tends to be a little critical of food at times, but said it was the best fish and chips she has had in Florida. I opted for the reuben sandwich, and it was also very good. My husband had the beach burger, and also said it was very good. The sandwiches came with either homemade chips, fries, or Cole slaw. The place was not very crowded, so our service was good. This was a nice, pleasant, unexpected surprise.

I had dinner here upon arrival at the hotel (located in the Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville Ponte Vedra Sawgrass) after a 6+ hour drive with my wife and daughter. Pubs are always a friendly, warm and cozy environment to me, and this place definitely hit the spot at the end of a long day. First off, our server was great. She sat us down and made sure we were comfortable; she also loved interacting with our toddler, going as far as playing with her by taking the check from her and giving it back at the end of the meal. This was definitely appreciated on many different levels. I ordered the Panko crusted grouper for my entree. It was cooked well and had a great crunch to it. The bed of cheesy risotto was the star of the dish, adding a great balance to the seasoning of the fish and accompanying vegetables. My daughter had the fish bites with fruit from the kids menu. Like my fish, it was cooked well and had a great crunch, but I admit it may have had a touch more seasoning than I would expect from a kids menu item ... however, she didn't seem to mind and enjoyed every bite taken. Overall, we would definitely eat here again and take in the relaxing and inviting atmosphere this pub has to offer.

We went during college football. The food was delicious! However, they only had one waitress for the whole place. She did fantastic but poor thing was definitely pulled in every direction! I'd recommend trying it out if you're near Sawgrass.

First time visit. Big place. Has its own parking lot so no worries there. In a great area & neighborhood located within a small shopping center area. This would be a great place to watch a game. There are a lot of TVs located inside and even outside on the patio area. There are 2 separated outside patio areas, large inside area and a good sized square shaped bar. We sat outside on the patio area. There are tables and a couple cute wicker outside cozy chairs with small tables with them. Greenery was planted that is high enough on the road side for some privacy. We started off with pretzel nuggets and beef cheese. The sauce was good it wasn't overly cheesy but I think we could have gotten a few more nuggets would have been nice. We had sauce left over which normally it's the other way around. I ordered the house salad with grilled grouper and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. There were little too many croutons I could fill the dressing cup with after I ate some, but kinda disappointed with the lack of flavor for the grouper. It was bland. My husband got the Guinness beef stew. Again underwhelming. The beef was actually dry and had no flavor. My cousin had the grilled chicken taco salad and did enjoy that. What helped our experience was Frank Assaro was there singing and playing the keyboard. He plays a variety of genres and music and takes on the spot requests. He gave us the extra flavor we were missing. Thanks Frank!

This pub is awesome! It's located just under the Hilton hotel, and super convenient for all guest staying.. they have authentic Irish dishes and beers but also have other things to choose from for individuals craving something more American. You can sit yourself at the bar and order what you like. The bar is surrounded by 6 T.V.'s playing any sport game you're into. Today was Sunday football and you couldn't ask for another game to be played because they were all showing. The bartender had a good groove going here at the bar. She was attentive to all the bar guest and other who asked for a specific game to be played. I had the Ruben Burger and ordered it medium rare; which was executed to perfection! They do a blended patty here (short rib, brisket, ground beef) topped with cheese and smothered in sauce while keeping it traditional on rye bread. This is served with French fries. "Hands down best burger I've had in a long time" On Sundays they have dollar off draft beers !! Had to keep it Irish so I ordered a Harp .

I had the pleasure of visiting Mulligans Pub for the first time on Saint Patrick's Day. Of course it was packed, but the service was still good! I had a blond beer which was actually colored green for the occasion. Pretty tasty. My friends and I shared three appetizers. Pretzel with beer cheese, house wings and Philly cheese steak sliders. The pretzel was tender with just enough crispness and the beer cheese was creamy and delicious! The wings were fried perfectly and the seasoning was tasty. The Philly cheesesteak sliders were a little dry, but dipped in the beer cheese made it tasty. On my second visit I ordered the reuben spring rolls. I'd never seen a reuben served this way but I loved it! My friend shared his loaded nachos with me. The nachos were surprisingly yummy. They actually used the the beer cheese on the nachos. And the beef really added a flavor punch! Service was great both visits. My second visit we hit up happy hour. The prices were just right!

This restaurant is located inside the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel where we were staying. I went there on Saturday looking for the prime rib special I'd seen online. Unfortunately that special no longer exists. So the waiter recommended the ribeye steak. So i ordered that with bacon mac n cheese, garlic potatoes, and broccoli. He even offered the price that the special was as a courtesy. How nice!!! The mac n cheese is something you absolutely must try. Very cheesy , buttery, and delicious... Also the garlic potatoes were great. I wasn't a fan at all of the steak though. It was burnt and hard to chew. So i just tossed that and enjoyed my sides. The staff there was nice and friendly. The restaurant was clean and there were mostly people at the bar. A nice place to have a drink or a quick meal. They also have Starbucks coffee. I wouldn't recommend that though. The frappe i got tasted strange and it seperated into a weird mess by the time i left. So if you crave Starbucks then go to actual Starbucks. Lol. I'm just saying. Some things can't be replicated. But all in all they have reasonable prices and are open late. I'd return but not to get a steak. 3.5 stars

Lauren and Angela are INCREDIBLE- They really enhance our experience every time we come. Their attentiveness and hospitality truly embodies the spirit of the "Bartenders Welcome". If your looking for a great time and an excellent selection of food and spirits then come to Mulligans Pub. Also, my favorite is the SHEPARDS PIE!!!! read more

I will say they were open when other places were not on Sunday. My frozen fish sandwich, was served fresh right near the ocean. It fell apart and had to be scooped up with a fork. My sons wings tasted funny. Can't say i will be back again anytime soon to pay for the above at the area's premium prices. read more

Reuben spring rolls!!! You have to try them. I mean, pub food, but haven't had anything bad here yet and customer service is always good with their friendly staff. Right outside of TPC Sawgrass, but way less pretentious. Definitely recommend! read more

1. Breakfast is made by order. It takes a little time but worth the wait. Services are good and friendly. 2. Waiter and waitress are super nice. Terry, Deborah, Kris, Lourdes and Katie are awesome. Always greeting us when we step into the restaurant. 3. Great portion, chicken with gravy, steak and egg and sandwiches are all good choice. 4. I was leading a wine tasting at the restaurant and I experienced the magic of a jovial Irish-style Pub in full color that was as friendly and welcoming as any I had been to in either New York or Philadelphia. Think big plates of bar-style food with a majestic touch of old-school culinary expertise applied. The chef's suggestion for dinner was Mulligan's apparently famous Rueben sandwich with fries on the side. This delightful and picture worthy plate really hit home for me while my gracious party was sipping a wee dram of Irish whiskey to close the evening. I am looking forward to returning to this venue as it was refreshing to see the bartenders, servers, the management, and the chef constantly shining in their ways. read more

Only in Jacksonville for a few days. Last night a friend recommended this pub for dinner. We decided to eat outside since it was cool out. Our waitress was friendly and fast. Food came out fast and it was delicious. Between the bangers and mash, stew, corned beef hash, and Reuben, no one had any complaints. And their beer selection was good also. read more

Ended up here for St. Patrick's day. Service was quite speedy - especially for being as busy as it was (Irish Pubs can be crazy on SPD). I had the Ruben Spring Rolls again as well as the Irish Onion Soup. Both were great - lots of cheese on the soup. Also, they had a pig roast for the holiday outside, which was pretty cool! read more

I ate here when I stayed at the Hiltons last week. Honestly I didn't have high expectations from other hotel restaurants I've eaten at. I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich and a guinness/harp. The sandwich was excellent and the beer was perfectly poured. My only complaint was it was trivia night and so the bar was full of loud drunks. read more

Best experience, food is made to order and waiters are super friendly. Mulligans is located in the Hilton Garden Inn. I had to travel for business and had an extended stay. Every morning for 6 six weeks I had breakfast at Mulligans. There were so many delicious options to pick from on the menu. I tried a different meal every day and it was always cooked perfectly. The host, Terry always greeted me with a smile, he brightened my morning. And the waitress were always super helpful and friendly; Deborah, Kris, Lourdes and Kati provide top notch service. If you are ever in Ponte Vedra Beach Fl, I highly recommend Mulligans, its your friendly neighborhood place, where the food and service are always prefect. Thank you Mulligans Staff! read more

Food was good but the service was absolutely excellent. Our waiter greeted us when we walked in the door, while he was delivering food to another table, before he knew we were going to be his table. My husband ordered the fish n' chips and I ordered the shrimp scampi flat bread with a side of fries - food was hot and delicious. The waiter kept the ice tea coming and even gave us a glass to go - fantastic, above and beyond service. read more

This is a nice place to catch a game and get some beers. It's located in the Hilton garden Inn in Sawgrass Village. The atmosphere is nice and it has trivia night once a week. It also has outdoor seating and an outdoor pool table with a flat screen TV for those days when you just can't figure out what to do. The only downside is when TPC week rolls around, then it can get a bit crazy because of the location. Between the hotel guests and the local patrons it gets packed. Other then that it's a nice place to have in Ponte Vedra. read more

The burgers here were 3/4 pounds of deliciousness! We came on a Sunday for lunch and as we ordered 3 of them, we learned they were half priced for today. They would have definitely been worth their full price but at $6 for a huge burger, we were amazed. My kids could only eat a half each. They ordered bacon cheeseburgers and there were probably 4 they 5 full slices of bacon in each. Insane! And they were cooked beautifully, juicy and yummy. I ordered the corned beef platter with potatoes, onions and green peppers and it was good but the beef was a bit sweet for my taste. Service was good. Would definitely return for one of those burgers next time I am in town. read more

Amanda greeted us at the door and was very pleasant with us. I can't say enough about her hospitality. John was also very hospitable. Mulligans is reliable. I've probably been here for breakfast ~30 times while staying at the Hilton Garden Inn on business and its exactly the same each time. I order the same custom omelette every morning, and it's the same (very good) omelette. Coffee is pretty good and they always keep my cup topped off. The staff is friendly and welcoming and I always enjoy starting my mornings here, especially since I'm usually working long, hard days when on these trips. And even though I've never partaken (as I said, business trips) it is always HOPPIN' in the evenings. Looks like everyone is having a blast. So I'm hoping I can get down there for a couple of drinks sometime soon. read more

I have been a guest at Hilton Garden Inn at Sawgrass for a month now while at Mayo Clinic. I've eaten Bkfst everyday in Mulligans and several dinners. All around excellent food. I have had two excellent persons everyday for Bkfst., Terry who seats me - when I walk at 6:05, Terry has my table waiting for me and Deb has OJ and hot tea already prepared and waiting. They have taken extraordinary care of me and served food very well prepared. Terry always "has the path" cleared to my table as I use a power wheelchair. Both Terry & Deb have talked excellent care of me. I could not asked for more. Then today - 7/16 Bkfst was launched with a totally new menu. Much improved however the old menu was not bad. Being a grits person, I immediately spied one of the most awesome Bkfst items I have had in years. Shrimp and grits with Gould cheese, without a doubt this item was a 5 star item. One of the best hamburgers me and my gorgeous girlfriend have ever had! The waiter was amazing and very helpful the drinks were fun and tasteful. For only $12 the price was very reasonable for a 3/4 lb. steakhouse style hamburger and a side of steak fries. Try the jalapeño, bacon, and cheddar steakhouse burger. We would recommend to anyone. read more

Mulligans is a local pub spot.I had a grilled chicken ceasar salad that wass fresh & tasty,the cornbeef & cabbage was ok.It's a bar atmoshfere & its always packed with a bunch of locals partin & having fun.Stays open late so you can always get a meal & dessert.Nothing fancy just a hot meal with good service & fun locals enjoying themselves. read more

Staying at the "Hilton" Garden Inn attached to it so figured I'd opt for convenience, which I paid for, not unexpectedly. It's a hotel bar haunted by (old) locals. A boring bar in a boring town; it fits in perfectly. Onion soup is horrible (they even served it to me cold); potato skins are good but tiny. Also, draft lines are dirty, making the Guinness taste lousy. 3 beers, soup, skins = $30 + tip read more

Very good quick service. I tried the fish and chips. Huge portion! Two big pieces of white fish with a beer batter. Very crunchy out in the edges but the middle was a little doughy. It was definitely fresh served right out of the fryer. It did have a good beer flavor but I thought it needed something...more seasoning in the bather or something. Wife's salad was huge and she really enjoyed it . We will definitely be back. read more

It's not flashy but trust me when I say this is the best burger in Ponte Vedra. Best burger at a great price and the quality has been consistent having eaten it 3-4 times in the last six months. Plenty of modifications available. Get the burger for one and stuff your face or split it across two. - Five Yr PV Resident. read more

My husband and I decided to grab a bite on our last night in Ponte Vedra. Mulligan's was close to where we were staying at Sawgrass. It was slow for a Sunday night. We sat outside with a beautiful breeze. We had a Guinness and a glass of wine...perfect for the night. And we ordered the pretzel with beer cheese. Very yummy. My husband got the Reuben and I ordered the chicken pot pie. Both were really great. I could have licked the bowl clean of the pot pie. A nice surprise and the staff was great, too. read more

My family and I ate here many different times during our stay in Ponte Vedra. The apps were amazing! Definitely try the boom boom shrimp. The beer cheese pretzel was yummy too. They were half off during happy hour as well, which was an added bonus. Burgers and fish & chips were definitely the favorite meals. The service was top notch. Had both Peggy and Erica and another server who all went above and beyond to make sure my family was comfortable and taken care of. One gentleman who worked there even mentioned a great park in the area to take my young kids during our stay. Everyone was very kind! The atmosphere was great and what you would expect for an Irish tavern. On one of the nights they had a quiz night, which seemed like fun too. Overall, a great experience! read more

My daughter and I met my 84 year old mom here today, our first get together in over 3 months because of covid. We sat on the patio at a nice umbrella table. After we ordered our food, a big rat walked across the patio! I went inside to find a manager, and there was no one around. We were literally the only people at this place. As soon as I got back outside, the waiter was coming out with our food. I told him about the rat (it was still there!) and I should have left. Instead, we moved to the other side of the patio. I was surprised when we got our bill that nothing was comped. I have been in customer service for many years, and would have certainly done something in this situation. I'm most upset because it upset my mom! I tried finding an email address on website to send to manager directly to make them aware of problem, but there was none. read more

Our recent extended visit to the Hilton Garden Inn in Ponte Vedra Beach included most enjoyable dining for many breakfasts and dinners! The menu selection was varied, and we especially loved the salads and all the desserts! Be sure to try the ice cream with brownie - it's a winner, for sure! The staff were very friendly and gave us wonderful service. Thank you to Terry, the host, who was most gracious and always started our mornings with a warm greeting; Becky, Chris, Erica, Lordis, Katie, Ray, Jay provided wonderful table service and made our time in the restaurant very memorable. mulligan's pub in ponte vedra florida works in concert with the hilton garden inn it is attached to. i received complimentary breakfast coupons for a full breakfast not just a continental breakfast of juice and cereal and at $112 one of the best prices for any hilton i've stayed at. the service at the hilton was impeccable as it was at mulligan's pub. terry greeted us warmly and since i was from reno, nv shared storeis about las vegas where he used to reside. our food server was couteous and friendly and the steak i ordered for breakfast could not have been cooked more perfectly. it seems many of their patrons come regularly for breakfast on the weekends and have grown to know each other. i can see why! read more

We call ourselves "The Breakfast Club of Ponte Vedra" and we look forward to meet and have breakfast at Mulligan's every Sunday morning after church. We feel so welcome with the friendly greeting by Terry Boult, our host at Mulligan's, and then we have Deb Hill's full attention as she takes our order with helpful suggestions. Mulligans has become a staple in our weekly routine. We go 2-3 times a week because the food is delicious, the staff is superb and the overall atmosphere is fun and inviting. Mulligans has the best happy hour around. EVERY appetizer is half off and the drink specials are crazy good. Be sure to try the Boom Boom Shrimp and Irish Eggrolls. Although all of the bartenders there are great, go when Michael E is behind the bar. He is super attentive, mixes the best drinks and always makes sure we have a great visit! Go and try it. Cozy bar and dining atmosphere. Great selection of draft beers; I love the new Angry Orchard Cider beer they just put on draft! Every time I come in I have a hard time ordering something besides the fish and chips because it is the BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! They also have a nice outside dining area with fans, and covered seating. Really enjoy myself every time I am there. Late night is a lot of fun too! My wife and I are in Ponte Vedra Beach several times throughout the year and we always stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Mulligans is one of our favorite places to go to, the food and service are always great. It is always good to see Terry every morning and Kris, Deb, Lourdes and Katie are always friendly and helpful. The menus were redesigned with a lot of our favorites remaining, although the omission of the biscuits and gravy was disappointing. That is one menu item that definitely needs to make a return. We are already looking forward to our next trip! read more

Stayed at the Hilton garden inn and ate at mulligans every morning due to its convenience being at the hotel. Wow - best hotel breakfast food we've had. We actually ate dinner there too - great bar options. Pro - Terry at breakfast needs a special mention. He took care of our every need and sat us down immediately, making sure we had prompt service. He went above and beyond for us. Good food and drinks are great as mentioned. Con - drink prices at the bar are your typical tourist trap prices. We have been staying here for a week and I've had (a different) breakfast at Mulligans each morning and one dinner (fish and chips, highly recommended). The food has been consistently excellent and all the staff are extremely friendly and keen to please. However I have to give special mention to English Terry who made us so welcome on day one; he seated us each day and was always extremely courteous and also proved a great source of recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. Mulligans Pub, which was always fun and had a great bar, now has a chef who creates great specials daily! AND he's revamped the menu items. Wow the staff is amazing. Terry is wonderful and so handsome and charming. Felt like I was family when I walked in. I am visiting from Conneticut for a family reunion. Had breakfast here 5 days in a row because the the service was fantastic. Lourdes out waitress 4 out of 5 mornings was so attentive. Great Pub. We live around the corner and came in for lunch for the first time. Nice food - great Reuben! Amanda was very friendly and lovely to deal with. As a fellow server in a casual dining restaurant I have very high standards for restaurant service which our server met and exceeded.
