This past week has been crazy. We are having our floors refinished and needed to vacate for a few days.We decided to staycation at the Hilton Garden Inn. As a local, I had stopped in at Mulligan's on occasion for happy hour and a little Golden Tee. We had however never really come here for a meal. That changed this week. Mulligans will be on our regular schedule especially for breakfast. The other two breakfast joints in PVB are always too crowded with long waits and not very clean. Mulligan's is the restaurant for the Hilton Garden Inn and serves breakfast (starting at 7AM and everyday - 365 days a year), lunch and dinner. The breakfast was perfect and reasonably priced. The breakfast chef is Victor and he was very accommodating, substituting a side of potatoes for bread. The French Toast my husband ordered also great. Kris was our server and she was so helpful and nice. They offer tables or seats at the bar. We are Master's fans so we sat at the bar and watched a little golf. Earlier in the week, we walked in and promptly out of 3 dinner spots in Sawgrass Village but they were all too loud and or too crowded. 4th stop is the charm as we decided to try Mulligan's for dinner and what a pleasant surprise. A large selection of full blown meals but also bar snacks for the lighter eater. My husband had the Italian beef and loved it. I had the slider trio and it was perfect. Becca was our server for dinner was she was so nice and helpful. These PVB residents will no longer consider Mulligan's a hotel restaurant but a perfect one stop shop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. read more

I have only gotten take-out here so I can only speak for the food! Tried the cheeseburger with fries and the chicken pot pie. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were delicious--crispy and slightly salty! Yum! The chicken pot pie was absolutely phenomenal. It was one of the best chicken pies I ever had (I'm looking at you, mom!) The crust was flaky and the pie was FILLED with huge chunks of melt-in-your-mouth chicken, veggies, and yummy potatoes. As a bonus, it was huge! But don't be fooled, you can finish it because it's that good. Took off a star because there was no specific pick-up area which was rather awkward and the burger & fries were quite cold. read more

The place is nice and they have a lot of food options. However most food options use the same kind of cheese and meat. Also it is rather pricey. I was there for a conference and only went once and found it was not necessary to go again. read more

Unprofessional wait staff (Michelle to be specific). Called prior to showing up to make sure they could accommodate a party of 13. Was told yes and showed up a little after an hour later and we were and inconvenience to her. Ended up closing out drink tab and spent our $600 somewhere else. Won't be back ever, called one of my party a bitch. I am a pretty laid back guy and was very upset and embarrassed that I recommended this place as a good place to have lunch. read more

Let me start with I love the atmosphere and actually enjoyed the bartender's-straight to the point, attentive, and no unnecessary sales frills demeanor. My boyfriend and I came to use a local flavor and ordered a round of drinks. They use sonic drive thru style small chunk ice-love. We ordered the rueben spring rolls to start. The rueben rolls were nicely cooked, presented nicely, and tasted good but I was hoping for an explosion of flavor ( j Alexander's use to make the BEST RUEBEN ROLLS YOU'LL EVER TASTE). I ordered the fish and chips (fries) with broccoli for my main and he ordered the French toast burger. Though the fish was fried to perfection, I will say I was hoping for more flavor with the fish. The fries were delicious and the broccoli was super buttery and tasty also. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger but wasn't blown away. I wouldn't go out of my way to revisit Mulligans, but I'd say it was a good experience overall. read more

This is a solid 3 1/2 star place. Not quite to the level LC a 4. I had both lunch and dinner here today. Salad for lunch and Reuben for dinner. They were were both solid, but not exceptional renditions of the chosen dish. The Brussels were a little soggy. I would not go out of my way to visit, but I also would not shy away either. Fun-tastic happy hour! We arrived early- 4:30ish on a Friday and managed to grab easy seats at the bar~ the bartender was very attentive and amused- I think- with our banter! By the time I left around 6pm- the bar was full! I ordered the pub punch and a pretzel appetizer. The pretzel was perfection- salted, cooked perfectly and the beer cheese was very yummy! My companions ordered the Irish Nachos- which were very different from traditional nachos- featuring beer cheese, steak and bacon! That plate was practically licked clean! My GF ordered the reuben spring rolls- again- talk about different tastes! Corned beef in spring roll wrap~ interesting for those taste buds! And NOT greasy! When our last friend arrived she ordered the shrimp- but by that time we were all stuffed! Oh- and my rum drink~ was quite yummy! The bartender was such a sweetheart- he even made sure my friends could taste test beers to find the right one to order! Happy hour fun! I may have to come back for their prime rib night! Location is part of Hilton Garden Inn. Arrived during happy hour. $2 off wells, some beers, house wines and a few appetizers for $6. Bartender , Gabriela was friendly and attentive. Got cheesesteak sliders (3) appetizer, which has homemade beer cheese on it and onion straws. Shaved ribeye was chewy and beer cheese flavorless. Onion straws were so negligible, I forgot they were included Also had chicken wings. They were cooked perfectly with celery and blue cheese. We came here with a group of ten and reserved a table to watch the patriots game and they were very accommodating. We all shared starters...the Reuben spring rolls, hummus & pita and lemon pepper chicken wings were a hit! As a local, we ended up at Mulligan's for breakfast today. Mulligan's is an Irish Pub attached to a chain hotel. We live about a mile from this place but we've never eaten here. I must say, the breakfast is not bad! Hubby had an Irish Bowl with eggs and he was very happy. I'm not a big breakfast person but I had a damn good fried chicken biscuit and my first ever Bloody Mary! I can't speak for the lunch or dinner menus but we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. read more

We cancelled our reservations at one place and decided to go to Mulligans and boy, were we glad we did! C.J. was our server and was perfect from start to finish. We had the Beer Cheese pretzel for a starter and it was so damn good we could've eaten them all night! All three of us had burgers that were ordered to be cooked at different wellness and they were cooked perfectly. The cheese steak burger (classic and yummy), a burger with Swiss and bleu cheese crumbles (she loved it) and I had the Italian Stallion burger (topped with fresh mozz, marinara and pepperoni, and I requested a side of marinara to dip it in) and I was in heaven! This could potentially be my "Cheers". The new incarnation of the restaurant at the bottom of the Hilton Garden Inn is definitely practicing it's swing to hit that hole in one. Service was pretty good, not amazing. Most food was very oily and salty. Mostly older crowd, not much going on a Friday night. We had: Onion soup - very salty. Could not taste anything, but salt. Boom boom shrimp - good but really did not taste the shrimp. Good flavor, not amazing. Reuben - very small, mostly better, and very oily. Teriyaki Chicken sandwich - pretty good, good flavor. Onion rings - heavy better and oily Burger - big, good flavor, nicely cooked, poor choice of sweet buttery pickles Fries (wedges) - nicely cooked. Great golfers pub in Sawgrass. At the hilton, but lots of Tvs, games, cold beer, pub food . Rueben is great for lunch and their ruben eggs benedict were great for breakfast. They had wifi as well which for me always helps even when i should not be working but we do what we have to... dammit. Good service and clean. read more

Usually, Mulligan's is fine. Usually. This night, however, they missed the point. Since it is part of the Hilton Garden Inn, I will put some of the blame on them as well. You see, Hilton had a large wedding party staying over this Saturday night. They knew they would have a lot of guests, who, after the reception and going back to their hotel, would hit Mulligan's for a nightcap. Or seven. They knew this. I have been there many times before and witnessed the same scenario. This Saturday, with Mulligan's packed with the expected wedding guests, there was ONE bartender. One. No witnesses. Just one overworked bartender. Poor guy. There was no way he was going to keep up. And everyone is getting angry at him. Not his fault; Mulligan's/Hilton did not staff properly. My friend and I left after not being served. I consider this inexcusable. Hilton knows, for certain, the bar will packed that night. Overstaff it. It's a wedding! Why be the cause of disappointment on such an important day for someone? Sigh. Makes me sad to write this, as I usually like Mulligan's. But this time, they totally blew it. Or Hilton did. I had to stay over a couple of days and stayed next door at Hilton garden. It's attached to the hotel and very convenient. Wound up having both lunch and dinner. For lunch the cheese steak sliders were fantastic. The onion rings were good and they have a good selection of micro and national beer on tap and bottles. At dinner I had buffalo wings and a few nice cocktails. The staff is fantastic at both services. read more

Mulligans is unique. It has a passage to the Hilton hotel beside it, yet also has its own restaurant front in the strip! Very neat. After looking around town for a good burger, we ended up staying close to the hotel and went to Mulligans. What a good move! Mulligans is fitted like a pub and had plenty of televisions to watch anything requested, and with our luck, they had a vast selection of 3/4 pound steak burgers!!! And they were half off!! (They're Sunday night special). It came out to $6 per burger and it was mouth watering! We shared a bacon, cheddar and jalapeño burger and it came with all the usual burger toppings. We started the night with the highly reviewed Reuben spring rolls which were everything I expected; what a novel idea and super flavorful - comes with a mustard sauce that complimented it well! I'm so glad this pub is here. I just spent 17 grueling hours traveling and daddy needs some giggle juice. I plan to go here tomorrow and get absolutely plastered. I have not been to this pub yet but I like the name and the fact that it is connected to my hotel. That way I only have to walk a few steps to inhale some brewskis with some of the local swamp people. 5 stars. read more

Saturday morning 10:30 am= all ladies bridge game 11:30 am = ma-jong group It's so amusing to watch them play ! We were there at 10:20 am and missed their breakfast but the kitchen chef was kind enough to let us in.. It's too bad that their breakfast cutoff time is 10am They have ALL ladies bridge game on Saturday morning at 11:00 am ( too cute & sweet to watch ) I ordered french toasts. First of all, kudos to Mulligans for properly following the CDC guidelines around restaurants. All the staff have been wearing gloves, masks, and they have thoroughly cleaned tables between customers. We have been there 3 or 4 times since COVID and always done well. We also want to recognize our server, Becky. She is always very positive and professional. Yesterday, during the rainstorm, she even offered to get us umbrellas if we needed to leave before the rain stopped. She is a great example for all who work in the service industry. Beyond impressed. Gabbie the bartender was super attentive and quick with suggestions. I was exhausted from traveling and I was having a hard time deciding with to eat. I started with the Boom Boom Shrimp- pretty freaking awesome. I finished with the BBQ Cheese Burger - which did not disappoint. Drank spicy Patron Margs all night- definitely set the mood. The entire staff was super welcoming and again- I was taken back by the food and service considering this is technically apart of the Hilton Garden. We were visiting the area a few days ago & saw an Irish pub in Yelp. We really should have known better than to order meals. A few patrons sat at the bar, and my husband wanted a martini. The warm beer/cheese pretzels were very good, but I can pull a black & tan better than this place. My husband- always the pessimist, decided to order the fish and chips. Believe me when I say Captain D's has a better take on fish, fries and slaw! My Reuben sandwich was definitely tough brisket. Arby's offers a nice Reuben or TooJay's. What ended up as a $70 dinner could have been much better spent at an upscale restaurant like Seasons 52 which really does offer quality food and great selections. Rest assured, we won't be back. Stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn for conference and since this pub is right downstairs we decided to check it out. Ambiance: Interesting locals, Irish pub decor and feel. The drink specials were out of control. Wells were between $3-$4 with decent vodkas on special. Beers were buy one get one. We drank and ate like gods. The ladies chips were the only thing I had from the menu and I was blown away by the portion size. One word. Merica. The staff were all witty and friendly. Worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for a good place to hunker down for happy hour. read more
