    Not bad for 2 people!

Comfort Food! Good quality good price! My honey and I were feeling tired, cold and lazy to make dinner so we figured we would give Mulligans a try. I got the cup of chowder which ended up being more of a bowl which was a great surprise and added bonus because I was freezing and wanting something warm and delicious to take away the cold and icky feeling that comes with a long day at work and prolonged winter/cold rainy weather. I also got their Shepard's pie special and again was shocked at the portion.... Food coma settling in as I type this. My beau ordered the chicken quesadilla with veggies and the clam cakes. Heads up they no longer buy their clam cakes so you will get 2 (not 3 like it says on the menu) homemade big clam cakes. They tasted quite good. He finished his meal with cheesecake with strawberries and that was great (she said having stolen a few nibbles when he wasn't looking). I got the Mississippi mud cake to go, because I would be rolling out of the pub if I tried to eat anything else. That will be a late night treat or breakfast tomorrow morning! Will update this review once I get the courage and stomach space to try it!! UPDATE: (the next day)... so I managed to not have it for breakfast but it served as my afternoon pick me up... yeh it was gone in 2 minutes.... So moist and light and delicious! Mulligans is now my favorite local spot.

If you're looking to order Oysters Rockefeller or Creme Brulee then you'll be very disappointed. Dis' ain't da place fo' dat. However, if you want great bar food, friendly service and an eclectic selection of drink specials then this is the place for you. Also has a room with four billiard tables. Neatly decorated with fun pictures and artwork. Only drawback is that parking can sometimes be a problem. Very cheap prices for food. One of the best bargains in town.

    All this for $5.50? Yep.

Food has no flavor. You're herded like cattle and rushed through your meal by the staff. You get what you pay for I guess

No reservations, you put your name in and wait. We waited about an hour and a half, and I can confidently say it was worth it! The menu is small with only a handful of options, but they clearly know what they do and do it WELL. I had the cheeseburger with fries (no bun), and MAN, that burger was cooked to perfection. So juicy, and the fries were perfectly golden with just the right amount of crunch. My husband got the tuna salad and made it a melt, this was actually his birthday wish, so we HAD to make the trip! He said it was one of the best tuna salads he's ever had. You know the food is good when both of us are sitting there silently eating. Both of our counter servers were so friendly and the service was great. If you're in the Kennebunkport area and have the time, Palace Diner is a MUST. Absolutely worth the wait and DEFINITELY lives up to the hype!

Very limited menu and waitress told us the 2 specials. One was omelette of the day Broccoli and Swiss (not to special) and their blueberry pancakes. Menu prices are a bit high than what you usually pay anywhere else. I got the omelette and it was pretty small looked like a burrito Tasted good and fresh. My wife got the breakfast sandwich. It was good, but was a little overpowered by the sliced jalapeños (fresh)on it Both our breakfasts came with "palace potatoes " which are a different spin on homefries. My guess is a par boiled potatoes that the smash a little then deep fry and add salt. They were good, crunchy but creamy on the inside. The coffee was ok. First cup tasted a little burnt but the refill was better. Customer service was great. Waitress was attentive, checked in after 2 bites and heated my coffee several times while I ate. The price was $48 for two people we had thought about splitting an order of pancakes or corned-beef hash($11) but it was too pricey. It was a good experience, clean restaurant, friendly people and ok food but too expensive for breakfast. Had breakfast the day before at Twin City diner. Food was just as good ( except their home fries) and a better value.

We were able to park right out front of the store front. Before we got off of the Pike, we ordered 2 pizzas.....one cheese and one veggie. When my wife was finished ordering and before she was told how long it would be before pick-up, the clerk told her the total price ($53.22). When I heard the price, I almost went off the road but I would find out later that it was well worth every cent! I went in to watch the process, which I love to do. It was a pretty busy Sat evening, for sure. Only one size of pizza....all large. Pizza orders of 8, 4 and 5 were pumping out the kitchen! Three workers and one register clerk made up the staff. There are 4 small tables and chairs if you want to eat-in, as well. When our order finally came out, I was a bit hesitant. I am a fan of lightly cooked and no bubbles. The pizza, when it was being cut, looked charred up a bit and had a bubble or two. As I walked to the car, I was not very confident that things would turn out the way they did. When we each started to eat the pizza, we were both thrilled with everything.....crust, cheese, overall taste and cook-style! The veggie was "delicious" and the cheese pizza was in the Louie's class (Woburn, MA). Boy, were we happy! The price was a little high but very well worth it. You get what you pay for! Soda: no Pepsi/no Coke (see pic) Parking: on Main Street...seemed easy Price: a little high...but worth it Ambience: nice little spot Will I be back?: When in Biddeford....sure Stars: 5 (I took a bunch of pictures...but it is a long story)

The thing that's frustrating it the hours and then posting on social media an hour or so after they open saying "sold out" already. This business has been around for a few yet it seems like they make a handful of doughs and then close. Why have hours then because when you try to show up if you don't check social media or their online ordering you will be out of luck. Why not make more pizza dough if you know you are busy and people enjoy it? Also tried to order online and got charged, showed up and they said they never got my order and I would need to figure out the charges with my bank. Connect with the bank and they tell me the restaurant refunded me already and it's processing. So it seems like once again they ran out of dough even though I ordered online ahead of time when it opened. Just unfortunate experiences I have had all around.
