She is terrible. Rude and unprofessional and not very competent . Worst dermatologist I've ever seen.

This was a great experience at the dermatologist. The entire office staff, including Dr. Mullick was exceptionally kind and welcoming.

Misery followed when I ran out of my steroid pack from the Minor Medical, and the poison ivy is still spreading. This morning I phoned Advanced Dermatology's office and was able to get an appointment with a NP Alexis Johnson same-day. I showed her my wounds, told her what I'd used previously, and she suggested a topical steroid cream and a stronger steroid tablet course. I asked if I could get a steroid shot for some right-now relief and she said certainly, but then I heard her new nurse asking which needle to use for that. They were nice tnough. The paperwork was the scariest part. "No Photography or Video" Located directly across the street from Germantown High school, with plenty of parking behind the building. Edited 6 15 15, adding that 5th star. Ointment caused folliculitis, one whitehead became infected and turned into a boil (staph infection). I was able to get a next day appt and have it lanced and drained. Now this is literally the most painful experience of my life, and I cried like a baby for half a day. You see, numbing shots don't work on infected tissue. I just love how helpful the staff is, and the empathy they showed me. I am still waiting on a bill, but whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Nurse who bandaged was just as personable and rough! Never going back there in three weeks to get my stitches out I'll take them out myself before I go back.

I mean, if that was the only thing I got out of this appointment, I'd still be thrilled. However, Dr. Foley also examined my main issue in great detail, ordering a thorough, but reasonable panel of blood work, actually questioning the nurse on which tests were perhaps too expensive to be considered at the moment. I was shocked, since I've never had a doctor who actually cared about how much my treatment costs. She suggested that we start with the basics and proceed to more (and more expensive) tests later if the initial ones didn't yield results, which seems abnormally reasonable for a doctor! The nurse did a great job drawing my blood, and I say this as someone who hates needles. Four tubes of blood were practically painless at her hands. She also promptly called me with the results and explained them in a helpful manner -- your level of X is this, while a standard range is that, so we recommend supplement Z. Unlike most nurses, I didn't feel like she was in a hurry to get me off the phone, which was a relief. So for the moment, I have a doctor-recommended list of supplements (including particular brands for some items), and a follow-up appointment with the reassurance that we will get to the bottom of my problem one way or another. And you know what, I feel like someone actually cares about me and my problems. So if you need a dermatologist, Dr. Foley is the one you want!

I have used GA for services for 5 years now, and appreciate their honesty and full disclosure about the side-effects and recovery time from every little procedure, from hair removal, to leg vein treatments, to laser work to remove red and brown spots from my skin. The team members are knowledgeable on the materials and chemicals they use, why they work, and why one may be superior to another. When I say "nobody should know I had this done but me", Katie, knows exactly what I mean. The office is friendly, set in an old Germantown home (once a wedding chapel), with warm and creaky hardwood floors, and look-at-me crown molding. A range of services and products (Obagi!) are available; see the website www.memphislaser.com for their competitive pricing and product information. The only reason I give it four stars and not five? One caveat: expect a wait time for your appointment. It is not uncommon, if you request a specific person, to wait up to a month to coordinate an appointment time that will suit both parties. You may wait a bit once you arrive, as well. 15-30 minutes is typical.
