I hesitate to write this review, because Germantown Aesthetics is tiny and wonderful, and any additional people using their services may push back my wait time even further... I have used GA for services for 5 years now, and appreciate their honesty and full disclosure about the side-effects and recovery time from every little procedure, from hair removal, to leg vein treatments, to laser work to remove red and brown spots from my skin. The team members are knowledgeable on the materials and chemicals they use, why they work, and why one may be superior to another. When I say "nobody should know I had this done but me", Katie, knows exactly what I mean. The office is friendly, set in an old Germantown home (once a wedding chapel), with warm and creaky hardwood floors, and look-at-me crown molding. I had 2 fillers and Botox by GA. Seemed very professional on my consultation. My husband only wanted me to have it done by the doctor. On my 1st visit for fillers (on my marionette lines), they tried to sell me on a full plastic surgery plan for my face. 2nd filler appointment approximately a year later, they showed me the plastic surgery plan again. They said it would save me $ . I told them I wasn't interested it. Dr. Lawrence refused to do my fillers that day. They said only a technician could do it. I regret letting this doctor work on me 4.5 years ago. I won't even call him a surgeon because he is technically a family medicine and OB doctor who does cosmetic surgeries. He did not do ANY plastic surgery residencies and is not board certified! There is also a reason why he is the only doctor who will perform the TUBA(breast augmentation through belly button), because it's the worse way to do a BA, highest rate of complications and they really can't see what the heck they're doing. I had TUBA with saline over the muscle. My breast looked good for maybe 1-1.5 years then looked horrible. Which is what I hear from people who I know that had theirs done by him too. Well I just now got them redone by a reputable, board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon and got in contact with someone who was working in the OR and they said dr Laurence messed me up BAD! They said the pockets were "horrible" and very uneven. The implants were filled to the wrong amount, the scar tissue even looked weird. One pocket was said to be over dissected and one was dissected to be too small for the implant. I only know one woman who is still happy with her results and I know a lot of girls who have been to him! He does surgery In a random room inside an old house that is his office. He is basically a back alley "surgeon" and should have his licenses revoked! read more

DO NOT go to this clinic. I went to Dr. Laurence for advice on how to correct an age-related sagging under my chin. I have never had any lines on my neck, and there wasn't a lot of fat. His recommendation was to do micro-lipo suction. The scarring is horrible and very visible and red (over a year later). There are blobs of fat on my neck and excess skin that looks like I have a scrotum growing on my neck because of the excess skin left over. This was NOT the right procedure for someone my age, who doesn't have the elasticity for this procedure. I have written to him several times and sent pictures and video of this and he is completely satisfied with allowing the statute of limitations to run out (1 year) rather than make this good. DO NOT use this Dr. for cosmetic procedures. I look like I had an accident with farm machinery. read more

When I went for my first appointment I was given a welcome packet and told how glad they were I was there - it kind of felt like joining a secret club. I started off with Vi Peels and moved onto Botox - which I had been getting done elsewhere for $2 more per unit. I also expressed interest in filler for the corners of my mouth but Katie encouraged me to try Botox , which cost much less than filler, and earned her my respect. Since seeing Katie I've from a tiny 6 units under my eyes to 20 well placed units and can see a difference. Charlotte does the peels and she is lovely as well. I have scar on my forehead from a fall a while back. One day i came across GA and decided to give them a try. Walking in the door i expected to pay thousand of dollars considering the size of my scar. Dr. Laurence took a look at my scar and prescribed me cream to put on it and see how that works. Dr. Laurence explain to me the ups and downs of each procedure and wanted what was best for me not my money. It have been 6 months and with no surgery, no laser treatment, not even a needle! My scar is almost invisible.Their pricing is very affordable and their services are very professional. I had have my microdermabrasion does there as well. i can't remember the lovely lady name but she was amazing! I pay next to nothing to get my confident back thank to Dr. Laurence and his staffs. I went to GA over a year ago to have three moles removed from my face by Katie. She was great. The process was a little nerve-wrecking, but Katie and the rest of the staff made it easier. I also had a consultation with Dr. Lawrence to do a more serious cosmetic surgery. I decided not to have the big job done. But if I were, I would definitely do it with GA. At my consultation my experience was great, extremely friendly and helpful staff. After signing up for service, it all went downhill. Apparently they only tell you what you want to hear in order for you to agree to get service and after you sign up you get the runaround about results. By the way, they'll try to sell you some lip product in the front desk for 75 but I recommend to look on amazon and the product website because it's sold for 35 dollars. Don't be fooled. Dr. Laurence is so wonderful! Both he and his staff are extremely friendly. They are all very knowledgeable on the products they sell and procedures they offer. I'd HIGHLY recommend GA to everyone. Dr. Laurence is very honest and always tells you what options would be best for you. His staff has also been very honest, and they always let you know all of the side effects and stuff before you agree to do anything with them. I can't begin to find all the words to describe how awesome my experience has been with Dr. Laurence and his staff. I had a breast augmentation procedure one week ago, and from the moment I scheduled my surgery, the care I've received has been phenomenal. I've sent several emails and have asked countless questions, and everyone has continued to treat me like family. I'm one week post-op and nearly pain free because Dr. Laurence listens and cares about his patients' concerns. I came in to see Dr. Laurence because I have deep under eye circles, I've always had them. He said I should do Bellafill, because of its long lasting results. Then he talked me into decreasing the size of my jaw muscles which he thought were a result of TMJ, and he wanted me to do my lips to balance my larger nose out. Well, I am a sucker. After all, I went in because of my vanity, and desire to fix my under eyes. What happened afterwards was terrible. For three weeks I was left with a black eye, black lip, and blue upper lip area. After it wore off, I noticed half of my face is paralyzed from the Botox. The Botox migrated to my smile, and I have a deformed smile now. The Bellafill in my under eyes has developed into two lumps under each eye, and I am writing this a month after my injections. I look much worse than when I walked in, and I am out almost $2,000. I cannot say how much I regret this, and I just hope I can help out someone who may be considering fillers. If you do get a filler, please don't get a permanent one. I will need plastic surgery to remove the lumps. I am waiting on Dr. Laurence and his staff to make this right. I want them to fix the lumps and give me a partial refund for the botched Botox and Bellafill. read more

I went to Dr. Laurence for my breast augmentation in July 2011. My mother went to him before I did in 2009 and her results were so good I had to go to him for myself after my second child. I am extremely satisfied with my results still! His staff has Great bedside manner, great staff and I was glad to not go under general anesthesia. I never experienced the extreme pain or heaviness that a lot of women warned me of with breast implant surgery. I was very happy to go into a surgical suite that wasn't at the hospital with sick people. I drove in from out of town, stayed in a hotel near by with my family, had my pre-op consult and photos one day and surgery the next morning, went to sleep for a bit and when I woke up I felt good with minimal pain (the local numbing method he uses is amazing) and I recovered quickly- I was up and about a week later. We used photos and texts and calls during my recovery since I was out of town. No scars, great placement and I am very happy with their look. I am now contemplating making the trip from Scottsdale AZ to have him fix my tummy after 3 kids. LOVE DR LAURENCE! read more

Worst decision I ever made, choosing Germantown Aesthetics. I received vein treatment from Germantown Aesthetics. Not only did their treatment not work, but caused the veins in my legs to multiply 100 fold. Even worse, I caught Katie and her assistant nurses using expired medicine in my treatment. While I was in their office waiting to be seen, I overheard one of the nurses ask, "which one of these is expired?" I then heard another nurse tell her not to say that out loud. Little did they know, I could hear the whole conversation. I couldn't believe my ears. The nurses (or whatever they are called) prepped my room and told me to enter and change into the shorts which they provide. To verify what I heard, I looked at the bottle of medicine sitting on the tray in my room (which was going to be injected in my veins), and it was indeed expired. I immediately questioned Katie and her assistants about using expired medicine in my treatment. Their response was, "the date doesn't matter". I went to management about this and amazingly, management immediately told me they did not use expired medicine. It's funny because (1) yes they did, (2) management wasn't there, and (3) they hadn't even spoken to nor questioned the staff. It was deny, deny, deny, from start to finish. It was clear to me that I was dealing with a group of frauds. My legs were left completely covered with veins and full of discomfort. I couldn't wear shorts, not even capri pants. My legs were not presentable at all. It's a shame. I still can't believe these people did this. They offered me a small amount of money after I complained but unfortunately, it was not enough to cover the amount of damage they caused to my legs. So, I did not accept anything from them nor sign away my rights as they wanted me to. I wasn't even getting back the thousands I had paid them for nothing, not to mention what it cost to repair what they did. That is not ok. I deserve to be fairly and adequately compensated/reimbursed for their malpractice, maltreatment, and the damages that they caused. I went to another facility to have the damage repaired and to have what must have been thousands of veins removed. The sclero treatment that the new facility provided worked as it is supposed to. Any vein they injected actually went away and didn't return. The problem was clearly Germantown Aesthetics. And Germantown Aesthetics comes up with the saddest excuses for their shortcomings.
