Clean comfortable waiting area with beautiful antique furniture. The staff are friendly and nice. After we filled out the paperwork we were called back in like 5 minutes. Get this,.. we weren't in the room 3 minutes and Dr. Parker came in!!! No long waiting for doctor. Dr. Parker is great, friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Woodmansee is awesome! She is thorough, nice and very professional. She has removed two Melanoma in Situ, one on my face and the other on my neck. The one on the face was done by surgical incision. I know it was difficult but I do not have a scar. The other was done by MOH's surgery. Great results. Her nurse Lauren is really nice and very efficient as well. Having had two surgeries in pretty visible places by Dr. Woodmansee, I can't imagine seeing anyone else. I have recommended her to my friends and coworkers, even my regular physician, and I highly recommend her now. read more

The place was amazing from the front desk the ladies were very professional. The main wating room was beautiful and very well furnished. When we was escorted to the examination room our nurse( Lauren ) was kind and very informative about what they had planned ,when the (Dr. Court S. Moved back to Memphis a year ago and needed to establish a new dermatologist. I saw Dr. Woodmansee and she noticed a spot on my face that needed attention. She said it needed to be removed and we could do it now or wait. I told her let's do it now, no need to wait. Very tan woman at the front desk was very rude and unhelpful. She seemed more worried about putting on her makeup and whispering negative comments about the patients to whoever was behind the desk with her. Note to self ladies, the walls are thin and patients can hear you. My actual appointment was with Dr. Pietrangelo and he was very polite and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the front desk staff is a patients first interaction and they are who set the tone for my visit. The mission of Memphis Dermatology states that they want to live out the exceptional quality and compassion exemplified by their founding physicians and that was not the case for my visit. I was shown no compassion and definitely no level of exceptional quality service. Dr. Pietrangelo was very thorough and professional, but his front desk staff made my experience very poor and did nothing to help an already anxious situation. read more

We saw Amy Huber for my teen's acne. When asked about our current regimen, I told her how I was using tea tree oil at the moment. She told me that that is ineffective, as using OIL, by its nature, is counterintuitive to treating acne. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Who the F doesn't know about using tea tree oil to fight acne? It's in so many beauty products! The minute this crap came out of her mouth, I knew I'd wasted $150+ (as I was a SELF PAY). My daughter and I just sat there, dumbfounded. So stupid. Since my initial review I've gone to clinic and called the clinic multiple times. The doc and nursing staff are great. I have a specialty prescription and the staff who handle the paperwork and insurance have done a great job of handling the script over the past year. I have been blessed to be treated by several doctors in this practice (Dr. Amonnette, Dr. Amy Huber and Dr. John Huber.). Every patient who enters is treated with the utmost respect and while you are there for surgery, you are still made to feel comfortable between procedures. The doctors and their staff are professional and keep you updated during the entire surgery and are always happy to answer any and all questions you might have. I recently moved to Memphis, and needed a dermatologist to look at some problems I was having with acne. I couldn't get a good idea of where to go based on online reviews, so I just called Memphis Dermatology Clinic since it was the closest to my office. I had a great experience! There was plenty of parking in the back, and the office was clean and had lots of seating. The nurse who took me to the exam room was very nice, and was very thorough going over my chart and asking questions about what brought me in. I had to wait a bit to see the doctor, but Dr. Overholser was great. She's young, very friendly, and explained everything she was prescribing. While I hope I don't have to go back for any more skin problems, if I do, I will definitely make my next appointment here. read more

I guess 1 star is as low as I can get. When I first moved to Memphis in December, several people recommended this clinic. I called early on to get an appointment as I was due for my biologic injection that month. I was told to just call back to see if there were cancellations because the first appointments available were in April. Ok... fast forward. By late February, I was desperate so I called again, and I got an appointment in March. I saw Dr Amy Huber -- I explained that my dermatologist in Knoxville had originally diagnosed palmo-plantar pustular psoriasis but ultimately changed to psoriatic arthritis. The psoriasis only impacts my hands and feet. She never looked at either my palms or soles of me feet. I told her what medication I had been on and that I was WAY overdue. Thank goodness the nurse and I both knew I should probably have the loading dose...Dr Huber explained that there are so many biologics that she can't keep them straight. Um... still I figured I'd get my shot and then decide if I should find a different dermatologist. Today I learned that my insurance company denied the medication because there was no explanation given about why I didn't use one of the different options --I could have explained or my records from Knoxville would have shown, but neither of us were asked AND I discovered that the diagnosis they submitted was plaque psoriasis...completely different disorder! My dermatologist in Knoxville looked at my feet and hands every single visit - and she had pictures of what they had looked like in the past, but the great and powerful Dr Huber didn't need to actually examine me to misdiagnose me I guess. read more

I was appalled at the way my 84 year old mother was treated by Doctor Amy Huger/Ammonette. My mother had unusual bruising that eventually had her in the hospital, but there was no regard or I guess understanding of this. My mother was subjected to the burning of two spots that left her with the continual bleeding of both of those spots as well as the continual bleeding she already had. She was hospitalized the next day with a platelet count of 3, normal is 150. I believe this doctor is incompetent. I would advise seeking any treatment elsewhere. read more
