Gorgeous Hotel, I mean, GORGEOUS. There is not a detail overlooked. Our room was overlooking the moat with the fountain out back and it was really pretty. It felt as though you were staying in a castle from 100 years ago, but with central air, which was great! The only bad thing I can say is, BEWARE....They do not have an iron. So if you have wrinkled clothes from traveling they will offer to press them for you. But it comes with a hefty price. about 8 euro a shirt, and I heard dresses are like 15 euro. Not to be clean, but pressed only. We figured this out after the first day when we got a 33 euro bill for a few items so we hung our clothes in the bathroom while we showered for the rest of our stay. It apparently is a common thing in Italy, I just wish I had known so i could have packed a travel steamer. But other than that the staff was lovely, the hotel is very quiet and comfortable and most importantly gorgeous. Only other thing is, its about 25 euros into town via cab. theres a shuttle if you don't mind coming back by 7pm. read more
