The Internet connection was poor very slow and even unavailable for some of the time. Florence is a lovely city and we enjoyed our stay overall.

We really enjoyed our honeymoon staying on property. A little bummed that the pool was closed but it was chilly in November so I totally understand. The rooftop was still open for use if you want to go take photos of the amazing view or bring your beverage to enjoy. By the time the filet came out, we were full, but happy to try this tender cut. It was cooked to a medium rare perfection and the presentation made it that much more delightful. We used a wedding planner but Alina is definitely there to help you if you wanted to plan the wedding on your own. The food at the wedding was delicious and they took extra care in preparing a wine menu that went with each dish we were served. I assumed it would just be a standard "red" and "white" but each course had a different sampling which complimented the course beautifully. I gave them a postcard to mail and it never made it to my destination. This hotel had room keys with a giant key ring that you gave to the front desk when you left the building. Our bathroom was manageable and the closet space was great. The room was split into "two" with a half wall which we enjoyed. The WiFi was dreadful! Of course we didn't come to Florence for WiFi, but at night when you want to connect and send photos, it was a bit annoying we couldn't rely on the network. Air conditioning was good, better than I had thought for a place of this age. When you leave, you can give you key to the front and they keep it. I want America to adopt this rule! You have to ask for bottled water, for a fish like me I found myself feeling annoying. I would highly recommend!!
