Romantic and luxurious comfort nestled 15 minutes outside of downtown Florence. I've stayed at this lovely locale several times and can't get myself to dwell anywhere else when visiting Firenze. Hotel 500's rooms have rustic interior paired with modern amenities that are elegant, well designed and reasonably priced. The hotel's restaurant is divine and serves 5-star northern Italian cuisine. The staff are professional, courteous and helpful. Hotel 500 is one of my ABSOLUTE favorites for they know the right mix to produce an exceptional stay. read more

We stayed at this hotel on a Saturday night in April. It is just outside the city of Florence and is a cute and quaint little villa like establishment with a real Italian Tuscan vibe. You could not walk into the city, this would definitely require a cab or Uber. Some of the rooms are in the hotel and others are in little barn like buildings across from the main entrance. Our room was attached to the main entrance and faced the courtyard. The rooms are quite spacious, although a little humid. There is no air conditioning, albeit a little window you could open for a cool breeze. I'm sure in summer it might be miserably hot. We thought there was a wedding party outside our room, but after approaching the front desk found that this establishment has a disco going on every Saturday night! It was loud until about 12:30-1 am... and the front desk said they couldn't do anything about it. So if your wanting a good nights sleep on a Saturday, I suggest you stay somewhere else or request a room in a different location. The morning breakfast was better than average. Everything was very fresh and lite. read more

Pretty good hotel!…read more Rooms were clean and modernly furnished. Bathrooms were huge and bed/ pillows super comfy. Front desk staff was very helpful. Breakfast is included and is pretty good (continental buffet with italian cornetti and espresso) Only issue is that if you're actually touring Florence this hotel is pretty far away (25min by car). Not a problem for us a this was our last night before getting on the road the morning after.

my rating is PURELY on customer service. my friends and I had a terrible and very unsafe situation…read morehappen and we needed somewhere safe to use WiFi and figure out what to do next. the front desk man, who spoke little English, did the absolute MOST to help us out. researched train schedules, offered the WiFi password, and even let us sit in the waiting room to calm down and figure out our next plan of action. we even heard him learning a few phrases in English to help better assist us. this man genuinely saved me and my friends lives that night for who knows what would've happened if he had turned us away. amazing service. If we had needed a place to stay for overnight, I would've picked this place in a heartbeat because of this fantastic gentleman.
