The staff is so kind and helpful; printing directions, sharing flyers to restaurants, wine tasting, and museums. This is a charming villa located in a country setting. The grounds are picturesque. The villa is very close to the train station in Signa that can take you to Firenzi in minutes. We especially loved the delicious breakfast made available to guests at no additional charge. I highly recommend this villa and will stay there for future trips.

This was the first hotel we stayed at that had an actual shower curtain and full size tub. Omg! It was such an awesome feeling to actually be able to submerge your entire body in a full size tub. Most of the hotels we stayed at had a 1/3-1/2 glass for showering. This led to all the water spraying out on the floor. Then we had to mop afterwards (not cool). We did not have to clean up here. We had a queen size bed with a nice little couch. I forgot to check if you could pull out the couch for an additional person but even without the pull out, I could have slept there comfortably. The staff downstairs were very friendly and the place had wifi. We really could not as for much more :)

The cute lady at the front desk has been so helpful. One night we were trying to go out to dinner too early and she was kind enough to take our order and call it in to a place that delivers. She brought us out drinks and gave us directions to a grocery store nearby. She has made this part of our trip very pleasant. The breakfast was well stocked with hard boiled eggs, pastries, cereal, coffee and tea and juices. We used the game room one night. Located by the freeway and close to the train station. Up on the hill with great views. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. Bathrooms clean with large towels. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend to anyone.

The place is unique you would find few hotels that authentic anywhere in the world! Of course if you like only recent hotels with all the modern comfort this might not be the place you would look for, the furniture are quite old, there is no elevator so you have to go up a very steep stair etc... but if you like old places this is for you! Additionally the countess of Villoresi is delightful.
