We would have came sooner but service on the upstairs deck doesn't start until 6. Perhaps that will change in the future and open up earlier. The view from the top deck was fun. Nothing amazing just quiet country except for the occasional motorcycle or grain truck cruising past on the highway. We were lucky to have gotten the only table on the deck. Surprised they only had one table on the deck. With the size of the deck more tables and umbrellas would be a fantastic addition to that deck. I think the owners are fairly new so perhaps that will also come down the road. They did have 2 long picnic tables against the wall however they looked pretty uninviting and also each had a bucket on it filled with old rain water, empty bottles and cigarette butts. Nothing against smoking as smokers seem to enjoy the deck as we did, but who wants to sit next to a bucket filled with water and trash. Speaking of trash there were also a couple of bags of trash tied up and sitting on the deck. Didn't seem to smell but not very appealing. Their main level is the main bar area and upstairs is an adult only game room which seemed to be popular. Full service bar up there and all employees were very welcoming. You did have to order your food and drink inside if you are sitting outside, but they will bring your food out when it is ready. Worked out well. I ordered the Philly sandwich. I really appreciated the fresh green pepper and onions on it, the toasted bun and a good amount of cheese. I just really didn't care for the meat. It had an off flavor and it was seemingly overcooked? Crunchy and kind of dry. And this sandwich is huge! Could easily split it, but unfortunately I just didn't care for it. I ordered a side salad with it which was good. My dining partner ordered the BLT. Didn't know it was a triple decker and with it being served on Texas Toast made this one huge sandwich and a bit difficult to eat. It looked really fresh but the bacon was different than we are used to. It was very limp and just also had an off taste. Maybe turkey bacon? Not sure but it also wasn't our favorite. Ordered potato salad as a side and that was tasty. Seems their breakfast gets good reviews perhaps will try that someday. Would rather come in the afternoon or eve and sit on the deck. Maybe just come tatchos next time...If we want to wait until 6PM. I'm told you can sit up on the deck before 6 but there is no access from inside so you have to walk around the outside of the building and go into the main bar to get your drinks and food. I obviously ordered the Cheeseburger deal and my daughter ordered the Ranch Bacon Chicken sandwich. The cheeseburger was okay. You can obviously tell that it was just a frozen patty by the texture and shape; (it's $5 though, so I can't complain about it too much. What did I expect?). Also, you can tell the chicken on the chicken sandwich was frozen by the same things, the texture and shape. I'm assuming that mostly everything on the menu is frozen. They have some really good specials but not sure if we will go back and try other things in the future.

I even was there on St. Patrick's Day and it never got too full. The ambiance is a little dim, which I think is what they're going for, and they have pool, darts, and shuffleboard. The staff is always kind and helpful when I've been there, which adds to the welcoming, chill atmosphere. They sometimes will have crockpots out with food you can snack on. On St. Paddy's Day, it was a corned beef stew that definitely hit the spot. If you're not there on a game day or holiday when they have the crock pots out, they don't serve food for purchase (aside from some tasty bagged chips), so be sure to eat before or after you come, or you can order delivery from a few nearby places. And lastly, they are very affordable. If you're drinking cheap beer, like I do (which they have many options of), expect to spend less than $10 here for the whole night. For the low cost, chill vibes, and good drinks - you should definitely check out The Elbow Room!

So, when we get together these days, we like to find a place that allows us to nostalgically re-live those days. We thought the Elbow Room fit the bill. Turns out, we were partially right. It's our kind of bar generally. Kind of run down and dingy but a place where you can drink cold beer. In theory, you could also play shuffleboard and darts. This particular night the dart board was not operational and the shuffleboard table was marginal at best. They had no sand to add to the table and there are dead spots on the board where the pucks literally just stop. Not optimal. But, we were having fun and learning the nuance of the board was kind of a challenge so we spent quite a bit of our evening playing anyway. When you walk in, you are hit with a fairly strong musty smell of old bar. You get used to it and it's not a big deal. The bartender this night was a good dude and took good care of us. This is definitely a locals bar and it was a pretty chill group on this particular Saturday night. If you want to find a hole in the wall to drink some beer, this fits the bill. If you want to play bar games, you might want to go elsewhere.

Drinks were cheap and plentiful. service was good, and the environment was friendly. Fast forward a few months and I've become a "regular" at this little dive bar. The rotating specials really keep me coming back. the nights you're most likely to find me here are on Sundays and Mondays. Sunday is free pool and $1 short cans, and Monday is $1 pints. I don't think much more is needed to be said for why you find me there on those nights. If you want to visit sirens and don't want to go when its super busy, i recommend avoiding Tuesdays, as Tuesday night is league pool night and the place gets packed early. Would definitely recommend going to this bar at night rather than making it a place to day drink. All the night bartenders are delightful, both Ashley and Audrey make it a welcoming experience, and the owner is a delight as well. The daytime bartender, however, is a little abrasive. Large-ish dedicated parking lot behind the building makes parking here easy if its not a league night.
