When I stayed they alternated days for sweet days and savory days. A sweet day might be waffles for example, but there is always eggs if you do not prefer sweet. The savory days were omelette with a choice of a variety of veggies and sausage, the side fruits were blueberries and strawberry, and toast rounded out the meal. I think they also had bacon but I passed and went full veggie. I had a tiny little balcony off my third story room. It didn't look fancy, but what a wonderful place to sit at night and enjoy a cool breeze. It was worth it for me. The shower was modernized and nicer than mine at home. The breakfast room is bright and pretty and a lovely way to start the day. If I returned I would choose a second story room as those were hardwood floors and the third floor was carpeting. The carpeting is new, but I prefer hardwood floors.

Every room has cable with LCD tv, free wifi, private bath and shower. There is a communal dining and kitchen area. Each room has a mini fridge available in the communal kitchen. The water is warm, calm and no undertow. Owners are accommodating and on site.

I've stayed here many times and chose different rooms that had ocean view or were ocean front. Each room was cute, comfortable, cozy. The inn is right on the beach and the prices are super affordable. I do go off season so that helps with the pricing. Breakfast is not served in the off season but I'm happy to bring food and make my own. There is a room at the basement level with a mini-fridge and basket for each room to store their food. There is also a closet with pots/pans, etc. and a stove for the guests' use. The eating area is my favorite spot with two tables, a coffee pot, tea pot, toaster, mini-fridge, dishes, and a wall of glass looking out onto the ocean. It is a very casual, comfortable place. Perhaps the casualness of it is what caused the only negatives I've encountered (but not negative enough for it not to be THE place for me). Once a mother and daughter were in the common room having a long and heated discussion/ argument. Another time a young boy took over the TV on a rainy day and stayed there for hours even though he could have used the TV in his room. I think people stay here so often that they get very comfortable, get to know the owners and act as though it's their house. Or maybe they are just inconsiderate. The Beach House Inn is my favorite place, I love bringing different people with me each time so they can experience it, and I can't imagine going anywhere else on the Cape.

Hot showers with good water pressure and scrumptously clean towels, clean-smelling bar soaps, crisply made beds, and delicious food in the morning. Jim and Marie were excellent hosts, even taking the trouble to make us Earl Gray iced tea, the way we have it at home, merely by us mentioning that that is the kind we made. Breakfast included yogurt parfaits, fresh fruit salad and freshly baked breakfast pastry. This was served in a small, immaculately clean dining area which was set up cafe style with several small tables. Outside, a small, clean pool awaited those who preferred that to a beach swim. The grounds were manicured meticulously and included a slate-paved walkway to a labyrinth, a spiritual pathway that sits beside a small Ecumeical Catholic chapel called St. Mary of Magdala. Nearby, small fairy households sprouted up from the mulchbeds, and bees grazed in the herb blossoms.

FAMILY OWNED & FAMILY FRIENDLY B&B…read more HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: I have been visiting Allen Harbor Breeze Inn with my young family every June since about 2012. The B&B is family owned and operated by the always friendly Flora & Dick (with assistance from their daughter and son in law), and families with young children are welcomed. The Inn is beautifully situated among profuse gardens, and across the street from the scenic local marina. Continental breakfast is served each morning, including excellent scones home made by their daughter. Rooms are homey and well appointed. Harwich Port is centrally located near the "elbow" of Cape Cod, halfway between the western towns and Provincetown at the eastern tip. Our favorite restaurants near the B&B include Brax (Harwich Port) and the Chatham Squire (Chatham), and our favorite art gallery in the area is Tao Water Art Gallery (Barnstable). Happy vacationing!

On my last trip in March, they upgraded me to a large room with faux fireplace and a really nice bathroom. There are so many little details that they thought of to make their B&B special that I always find something new and interesting about the place that I didn't know what there - cookbook, book note, water color pictures, things around the living space, etc. Breakfast is amaxing in the morning and seriously almost gourmet. The hotel is billed as the only Vegetarian B&B on the Cape and that's why I love them so much. There's a candle pin bowling alley nearby, as well as bike trails, lake/ponds to kayak in, and other uniquely Massachusetts places to shop. Not sure how much longer they're going to be around, as they are looking to sell their venture, but if you're planning a trip to the cape anytime soon, check them out and I'm sure you'll get the same great experience that I received. I can speak highly enough of the place and the people.

He surprised me by picking this cute little bed and breakfast for our stay. I was immediately blown away by the hospitality we received and the warmth of the property. There are only three rooms on the property so this bed and breakfast is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and or romantic stay. We stayed in the upstairs suite, which I recommend to those looking for a little extra room. The fresh breakfast Gary cooked every morning with local ingredients from the Cape and his own organic garden was divine!!
