Caprese salad with roasted blackened chicken

What a view!!! We were here on a Tuesday so it wasn't that crowed. We were able to sit outside with a beautiful oceanfront view. A very cool gentleman was playing the piano, trumpet and singing in the lobby. I had a the special cocktail and it was delicious. A passion fruit, pineapple maker mark martini. The chef here actually makes real food. Not the normal fried cape cod stuff. We had the special Portuguese Kale soup and a salad and the vegan vegetable ravioli special with zucchini and marinara sauce. It was very good. I loved it.

Hotel part of our stay was fantastic, beach side cottage with plenty of outdoor furniture available. Pool, mini golf, and shuffle board a huge plus if you're not a fan of the ocean. Restaurant experience not the best. Service was very slow, multiple servers but no one paying attention to tables in need of drinks or condiments. Food slow to come out and was underwhelming given the price point. I would recommend going to town for dinner like Skippers.

Perfect spot for sunset in West Dennis. Epic drinks, fire pit and all the olde Cape vibes (ie sand dunes and salty air:) Highly recommend!

Michelle's rum punch and kindness was 100%!!

Not my speed when it comes to accommodations, definitely wouldn't have chosen it for myself but it was the wedding location so when I'm Rome. Super old facility and not renovated or even kept well in my humble opinion. There was a good amount or hair that wasn't mine in the shower like it hadn't been cleaned well. Not my bag but enjoy!

Clambake on the beach

I'd hate to blow their cover, but this place is a HIDDEN GEM! when you step foot into the main building you feel like you walked into a hallmark movie. Everyone on staff is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean. Plenty to do for the kids. And the Clambake is one of a kind. Many thanks to Jon the GM, and the best bartender we've ever had, Michelle! The second we checked out, we booked our week for next year. Cant recommend enough, and can't wait to go back!

We had the most incredible time here for a friend's wedding last weekend! It was absolutely incredible and we loved every second of it. There are so many cute cottages for couples to stay in. The entire wedding party stayed in the houses. The rooms are all quaint. One of the first houses we stayed in had a beautiful balcony outlook. We loved the bedroom suite- it was very spacious and clean. The cottage itself is lovely and perfect for a summer wedding. The Cape is perfect from May to September. The food, drinks were fantastic. Loved spending the weekend here to celebrate the beautiful bride and groom.

Walking distance to the beach.

Lovely relaxing weekend in Cape Cod, MA. Clean, friendly community and staff. Nearby eatery's and delivery options available. Beach is clean. Tons of lounge chairs and complementary beach umbrellas.

Not impressed. The room was incredibly musty, could not get the smell out. Over priced, not updated.

I've stayed here many times and chose different rooms that had ocean view or were ocean front. Each room was cute, comfortable, cozy. The inn is right on the beach and the prices are super affordable. I do go off season so that helps with the pricing. Breakfast is not served in the off season but I'm happy to bring food and make my own. There is a room at the basement level with a mini-fridge and basket for each room to store their food. There is also a closet with pots/pans, etc. and a stove for the guests' use. The eating area is my favorite spot with two tables, a coffee pot, tea pot, toaster, mini-fridge, dishes, and a wall of glass looking out onto the ocean. It is a very casual, comfortable place. Perhaps the casualness of it is what caused the only negatives I've encountered (but not negative enough for it not to be THE place for me). Once a mother and daughter were in the common room having a long and heated discussion/ argument. Another time a young boy took over the TV on a rainy day and stayed there for hours even though he could have used the TV in his room. I think people stay here so often that they get very comfortable, get to know the owners and act as though it's their house. Or maybe they are just inconsiderate. The Beach House Inn is my favorite place, I love bringing different people with me each time so they can experience it, and I can't imagine going anywhere else on the Cape.

On my last trip in March, they upgraded me to a large room with faux fireplace and a really nice bathroom. There are so many little details that they thought of to make their B&B special that I always find something new and interesting about the place that I didn't know what there - cookbook, book note, water color pictures, things around the living space, etc. Breakfast is amaxing in the morning and seriously almost gourmet. The hotel is billed as the only Vegetarian B&B on the Cape and that's why I love them so much. There's a candle pin bowling alley nearby, as well as bike trails, lake/ponds to kayak in, and other uniquely Massachusetts places to shop. Not sure how much longer they're going to be around, as they are looking to sell their venture, but if you're planning a trip to the cape anytime soon, check them out and I'm sure you'll get the same great experience that I received. I can speak highly enough of the place and the people.

We stayed in the upstairs suite, which I recommend to those looking for a little extra room. A great place to while away an afternoon watching birds and bunnies while relishing a drink. The Innkeepers, Mary Beth and Peter, were some of the nicest, hospitable, and accommodating people we've ever met. Their commitment to their guests comfort and satisfaction was above and beyond anything we've experienced in the past. From their welcoming demeanor to their dedication to ensuring the most pleasant stay, we felt at home and carefree for the duration of our visit. The breakfast was also quite marvelous! The time spent at the Mulberry Tree Inn was truly the highlight of our trip to Cape Cod. I am already concocting reasons to return to South Dennis just to have a reason to stay here again.

What exactly happened in the bath tub? Mesmerized by these mysteries, you'll drift off to the sound of an ominous and distant alarm emanating from an ancient ice machine. In the morning, you'll notice that your room is tilted. Sinking? Your inner ear will detect the imbalance while you stumble across the unswept floor to the bathroom. It's so convenient with kiddos to have the beach and pool within a minute walk of each other. The pool is so great for kids, as it has a walk in side, where the younger kids can sit and play. Tons of seats on the side for parents to sit as well. It gets crowded but I've never found it uncomfortable. The beach is beautiful and huge! And is so convenient and close to all the rooms. Super wide, so lots of space for everyone, and for activities like kite flying. There are also tons of chairs available for no extra cost. The rooms have been upgraded over the years and are really nice! This year we got bunkbeds which have been awesome for our kids. They are huge! And very well made. A nice upgrade from our past stays. Each room has a little outdoor space, and there are two floors; we always request the bottom floor because it's just much easier with little kids. Having a little porch is great, it's nice having a spot where you can sit and hang after a long day, have lunch, kids can play, or as a place for all your pool toys to hang dry. There's also an indoor pool and hot tub which are really great for the windier days!! It's also fun that the pools and hot tubs are open late for a late night swim. Staff are nice, but not as around as I would like. Still, facilities are really great overall! A bonus is that you can use one of the facilities of the other hotels that belong to Red Jacket, all close by. One is within walking distance and one is a five minute drive. The one next door has a great bar and take out restaurant, that has perfect beach food, like quesadillas, chicken fingers, hot dogs etc. (and can even make chocolate frozen drinks for kids!). We also really love that they have child activities through out the week. Last summer our daughter's favorite was doing crafts on the lawn and seeing a pirate show. This summer there weren't as many crafts being offered unfortunately but they still had a gaming truck that pulled up in the parking lot my son lovedddd, and they also offered mermaid hair styles. There are several activities each day offered through out the different properties. It's just a beautiful property and so worth the wait for us every summer. Though it's pretty pricey, it's very worth it!
