We decided on this bed and breakfast because my mom stayed here with her parents years ago when she was my age. It was such a full circle moment for her to come back here with me! They have a main house and then a side house as well. The staff is so lovely and welcoming. We stayed in the Lydia room in the outer building. It was huge! Everything was so well decorated and spotlessly clean. The gardens are beautiful and it was super quiet. They have lots of DVDs and games that you can bring back to your room. It is the perfect place to relax and a short drive to the main street in Chatham! The food was awesome as well. I loved the homemade cookies that they leave out at night. The breakfast was incredible! You have to get the homemade coffee cake! It was served piping hot! There were two different kinds and both were just amazing. I had the coconut caramel french toast. When I informed Kara that I was not coming to Nantucket that weekend she agreed to cancel my reservation but not refund my money back to me. I called Hotel's tonight and they agreed to the refund only to find out that the hotel refused to refund the money back. I called Kara back and she said she refused to refund the money back to Hotels tonight and said "we are a small business and we need to make our money", after arguing for hours back and forth with her she then told me I needed to speak to her General Manager Alicia Hehir. I called her multiple times and she refused to call me back. Finally I had American Express Centurion call them to dispute the charge and they agreed. This hotel lacks compassion for their guests and needs to be run much better. Their management is not responsive to their hotel guests and lacks sympathy for people who have Covid.

Only drawback was nightly fire by our bathroom window forced us to keep Windows shut due to smoke and smell, would be better off in back yard. Quick drive or brisk walk to the village with awesome market, Nirvana coffee and Italian restaurant plus pond and dog park. Only factor preventing a five star review is can't leave dog onsite . I have never seen a less inviting beach. They also have function rooms that may suit a wedding. The staff is super friendly. The food at the Inn was delicious. The cottages were clean and well kept.
