February is buy one get one half off buffet month, which makes it that much better. Their buffet has foods most chinese restaurants don't. Their honey chicken, sugar biscuits, and fried rice were exceptional. The crab ragoons and low mein- nothing special. I was pretty excited when this place opened, since it was going to be a change of pace from the other Chinese buffets around here. I was very impressed with their variety and selection, and while not all of it is vegetarian-friendly there was enough I could find to eat. read more

I would have given this place a great review, but I when I checked my bank account this morning they added a tip AFTER we left cash on the table. The food was great, service wad ok, but this is inexcusable! Fair warning to everyone... Don't pay with your debit or credit card, they will add a second tip for themselves! First and foremost, Leah is the perfect waitress. Just gotta put that out there because she was cute, funny, attentive and prompt. Also just all around cool. She was a step ahead of us at every turn! That being said, the atmosphere is wonderful, much more than I was expecting. The buffet was the best we've found in Conway, hands down. AAAAAAND an ice cream bar with toppings included. And I'm not talkin that sorry soft serve stuff, but real ice creams; good ones too. Plus rainbow sherbet, my very favorite. Needless to say we will be returning!!! Intresting buffet, food was fresh and obviously well cooked, but there is some growing pains here. Waitress was really busy so instead of explaining the sushi thing we circled what we wanted and than was told, no only one thing per person, ok... than had to go pick it up at the window, ok again but little things like that etc explained make the difference between a 5 star and a 3 star. My prediction is that this place is great alternitive to China Town, cooking seems "lighter" somehow - We'll hope the servers get their feet under them and I'll re review soon read more

Very good buffet, fresh sushi and prices are reasonable. I see the wait staff getting food from the buffet, which is always a good thing.

This is the best place to go for Chinese buffet food in Conway. They have the largest selection and the atmosphere is nice. Also, they have some hand-dipped ice cream which is always a plus. They do have sushi, which is usually (although not always) very fresh. The ginger and wasabi seem to be left out for quite a while, so I would steer clear of those unless you a new batch being brought out. I would not waste money on drinks (besides beer) here, I think my margarita was 90% sweet and sour. I love the Hot and Sour soup! Lots of fried goodies for those who could care less about calories. A lot of food for a decent price. If you are hungry and craving Chinese, go here! read more

This is a buffet. Went here for supper 7-6-15. Food choices are labeled, replenished quickly, and a good variety. They also have sushi! The tastes are separate (i think at times oriental buffets all taste same) but these flavors were all quite different. The staff is very helpful and nice. Me and my husband visit Mulan around once two weeks, and we can always get really nice food for about $20 together. I'm a Chinese and my husband is an American, so we like very different food. Thanks to Mulan as my husband now likes sushi. The food is consistently good and sushi is especially good on weekends. I also loved their coupons in the mail making it a better bargain. I read all of the reviews and, with the exception of one, most were over a year old and were positive. I do not know if the quality has changed or if folks in the area have not been to a really good Chinese buffet. I had eaten at this place about a year ago and had an overall positive experience, unfortunately today was a complete 180. Had it not been for the excellent service, I would have only given it one star. The food was overcooked and lukewarm at best. I honestly was concerned about food poisoning. To be fair I did not try the sushi, so this review is only related to the items in the buffet lines. I doubt that I will make a repeat visit. read more

More miss than hit. For $8.99 I view this as an all you can eat sushi bar with hot soup and plentiful but bland buffet. Meh! Sushi is fresh but nothing out of the ordinary. You could get comparable at Kroger. read more

Went for the FIRST and LAST time tonight. I was excited about seeing new and different items than the norm around Conway. The WonTon soup was Celery soup, with DRIED wontons in a separate container. I tried a couple of Asian dishes that I had no idea what they were supposed to taste like, but they were not to my liking. Tried several of their items and nothing was really good except the Butter Shrimp. The BBQ ribs were meaty and tender, but bland. They were obviously boiled with NO seasoning, and sweet sauce smeared on top. Peel em and eat em shrimp were OK but it took forever to get them peeled. We had to cover our plates with napkins to keep the flies off!! I see where someone else commented on flies. The ice cream was good and was a nice touch. Sorry we won't be coming back. read more

Just got takeout from this establishment 10/9/15 it was around 7 o'clock and it was packed but the buffet had fresh food I love their peanut butter chicken and they're green beans, my husband loves their hibachi chicken their general Tso's chicken and we both love the egg rolls... oh and the hot&spicy soup with the tofu is amazing! read more

I took my family to eat at mulans for the first time this afternoon. I can honestly say it will be our last time. What little bit of food we ate was good but then i got to watching and in a 10 minute period i saw a waitress pick up something off the buffet and put in her hands and then put it back on the buffet and then pick up something else and eat it. but the worst thing i seen was when a employee was putting a whole cheese cake on the buffet and dropped 3 pieces on the floor and caught 1 piece on his crotch and then put all 4 pieces back on the buffet and walked away. Needless to say our meal was over because after that who knows what goes on in the kitchen if that kind of thing happens in front of the customers. read more

I've eaten here about ten thousand times, and don't go a day without thinking, "Wow, I really would like some Mulan's." Great food. We have been long time China Town regulars, but Mulan's has an edge on them. Perhaps not as many choices, but all that we had were good, enough so that we expected to pay more than they charge(we went in with no concern over price). This is also the only Chinese buffet that we have visited that had both smoked and grilled salmon for lunch. It wasn't very busy but they were continually replenishing the food, so all was fresh. read more
