I was hopeful, but to say we were disappointed with the food quality is an understatement. The only reason I'm leaving a YELP review, is because that's what brought me to this place. We ordered two orders of Sesame Chicken, 2 eggs rolls and 1 order of crab rangoon. My husband did like the egg rolls, however, the chicken tasted very chickeny, much like fish can be too fishy. It did not have a good flavor and left a horrible aftertaste. I ate 1 piece. The sauce was bitter. Unlike other Chinese restaurants where the sauce typically has a hint of sweetness. The crab rangoon was fine if you like bland. The rice was just rice. Literally JUST rice. Maybe fried, but lacking carrots, onion, egg, peas. Flavorless. I ate 1 bite. The ONLY thing I actually was able to manage eating was the broccoli. I ate two pieces, could have eaten it all but my appetite was ruined at that point. Nearly $40 wasted. We stopped for the first time , reviews were good on Yelp, I ordered pepper steak and a Diet Coke, the pepper steak came out with a pile of string onions,In lots of juice, the steak was so tuff and the juice had a different flavor, I only ate some of the meal and disposed of the rest. CASH ONLY (Now that that is out of the way) When you first walk in you will not know what to think of this place but as you smell the cooking and once you see your meal one thing becomes apparent: if it is not broken, cook with it. This place has some pretty average choices but the experience is what sets Jade China up one more notch above your average Chinese restaurant. Yes they only serve in styrofoam containers with plastic forks but the serving size is always 3 scoops of rice and plenty of food and a great quality (except the peas and carrots) but anything prepared there is great. Tso's chicken is the best I've ever had. Very savory, sweet and the broccoli was steamed perfectly. Curry shrimp has a lot of onion but it was perfectly spicy and had real curry flavor. read more

I told hubby I needed my Chinese fix, and he remembered driving by this place so we pulled into their parking lot. I took a quick look on Yelp right before we went in. When I read that it was not a buffet and the owner is Chinese...well, heck...we HAD to give it a try. It was a little dark inside and only about a dozen tables set up. Absolutely no frills, and that's ok; I was only there to be impressed by the food. Apparently most people call in their orders and pick up; they do not dine-in. We were one of two parties that chose to dine-in. I think almost immediately we knew that we will be ordering take out in the future. But we had errands to run, cowboy boots to buy...so this time our only option was to eat there. We ordered cashew nut chicken, broccoli in garlic sauce (I think that's what it was), and fried rice...I hardly ever order fried rice. Why? Because it just doesn't taste as good as homemade. My sister's fried rice and Ma Lam's fried rice are my favorite. But hey, the kid taking our order said it's very popular and almost everyone orders it. How could we not give it a try? And you know what they say, "When in Rome..." The food came out fairly quickly and piping hot; dishes were served in large styrofoam boxes. I was a little taken aback since we had chosen to dine-in...but okay, whatever, I certainly don't need fine china to enjoy a tasty meal...all I need is a shovel...er...uh...fork or spoon. Overall, I would say the food is tasty. Hubby especially liked the broccoli; it had a sweet, tangy taste. The fried rice was indeed tasty, but next time I will try the lo mein, which apparently is a hit also. Portions were huge; the three dishes were enough for four adults to share with some left over. Since it was just the two of us, we regrettably indulged and still had more for later. We will definitely give it another try in a month or so. This was the third Chinese restaurant we've tried in Conway. The first two were buffets...and although tasty in their own ways, it's just not the same. Jade China = Conway, AR. What I ate multiple nights of every week. Always the steamed tofu with veggies and brown rice. GOOD. Their veg fried rice, also real good. Really, any dish with tofu. I love the sweet lady owner. She always knew my name when I called in my to-go order. "Is this Jessica?" Jade China offers the best Chinese food one will find in Conway. The food is always served hot (whether eating in or eating to-go), and the workers are friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is definitely nothing nice. They have standard tables/chairs and booths in a dark restaurant. 99% of the time, I get food here to-go. Not only does the food taste great, but it is very cheap. An order of fried rice is plenty for two to share for one meal and is still under $7 (I think). Give Jade China a try! read more

The best Chinese in town! Definitely take out rather than dine in. Also be prepared to wait IF they are busy (like Saturday night at 7 pm haha). Usually they say good will be ready in 10 minutes but this time they said 10-15 and when we arrived it was about 10 minutes before our food was handed to us. There were also about 10 other people in there eating/placing orders/picking up. Needless to say it's a pretty small place! Nice big portions. Their egg foo young is pretty good, not the best I've ever had. They tend to overdo it on the sauce a tad ;) the lo mein is fantastic. And the prices can't be beat! More than likely, this is the best Chinese food in Conway. I have never dined in, always phoned in take out orders. The food is always hot, and VERY generous portions for the price! The house fried rice and house lo mein are more than enough for one person and are delicious, even as leftovers!
