This is probably the best Chinese buffet I've ever visited. The food looks and tastes fresh. The selection is vast and I've not seen so many items in any buffet. The decor is high end and looks like it belongs in a New York City restaurant. The hot and sour soup I had was made from scratch good. My sister and I went for an early dinner (at 5:30pm) and everything had been sitting out for a bit. The food was alright. They started putting out fresh food when as we were leaving. Of all the Chinese Buffets I've been to this one ranks in the bottom tier without question. The selection is not as good as other Chinese Buffets I've been to and the quality of food is terrible. The various fried rices they had were not good. Pasty and not prepared correctly. The Sesame Chicken was pathetic. The egg rolls were more grease than anything, couldn't take more than 1 bite. I was disappointed they didn't have Peel & Eat shrimp like other places. Dessert selections are sadly limited. They do have a Ice Cream machine, which made up for the majority of my meal seeing as I couldn't finish the majority of food I had put on my plate. The young lady who waited our table was sweet and friendly. She even brought my wife another fortune cookie when she discovered her's didn't have a fortune in it. Ever since they reopened since the pandemic the food is awful. It's almost like there is new owners after all these years. All the meats are bright red now. All of them. So much stuff is gone from the buffet. I feel they have new owners and they should've kept it how it was. After over 25 years of eating here I can sadly say I will not be returning. I've tried it twice since they reopened and it's been terrible each time. You should've of kept it how it was. The recipes, what was on the buffet. Hardly nothing but crap. And the bright ass red sauce u use for every meat on the buffet is terrible looking and discourages ppl from eating it. It all tasted the damn same. Their food is good if you like stale wontons, egg rolls, and other stale battered food. Their general tso chicken was so soggy the breading was falling off. It looked like it was reheated from a day or two ago. My sister-in-law was bragging how good this place was and how she loved it. Actually it was pretty mediocre. All noodles were pretty tasteless and more al dente' than i like. None if the fish tasted fresh. Shrimp were mushy. No salad bar i could find. Overpriced. Good food and it was very clean. I liked the basically contemporary look of the restaurant. The service was good as well. In particular, we liked the fried zucchini, the donut holes, and the hibachi fried rice. The salt and pepper shrimp was also tasty. The sushi was passable- about equivalent to sushi at Kroger. Just finished eating here. Best buffet I've ever had. Traveling from Tennessee for a funeral and ate alone. My waiter Scott was on the ball and a pleasure to be served by.
