We had such an amazing experience here that I was compeled to write a review. My husband is a disabled veteran with ALS. We have an adapted vehicle that had an exhaust issue for quite some time. It sounded like we were driving in the Indy 500. We could not find an exhaust mechanic that could fix our issue due to our car being adapted. By chance we called muffler west and they said they could help us. We came in on a Friday to have it repaired but due to our adaptions he had to order the custom part. We returned on Saturday and within an hours time he was done. We went to pay and he said we owed nothing !! He felt bad we had to return to have it fixed. I had my catalytic converter stolen (who hasn't these days) and needed my car repaired fast. I called several other shops and got some estimates, most were quick to say no we don't have the part and wouldn't really look into it. not sure what was going on. I called mufflers west, and Chris picked up, put me on a brief hold and told me had the part. Was very friendly over the phone and very knowledgeable. When I arrived at the shop, he was fielding many phone calls, and while I was filling out the paperwork, he was walking someone through the California BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repairs) website to have the person get what they needed to get their car fixed. I thought that was just so rare to have a busy shop, phone calls coming in but yet take time to help someone out like that. Really speaks volume for Chris. Mufflers west does a great job at a fair price! I weighed down my work trailer, broke one of the leaf springs and didn't know where to turn! A customer of mine referred me to Chris. He Is very knowledgeable about trailer maintenance and repair and much more! He explained to me that I was overloading the trailer beyond capacity and recommended upgrading from a 3000 to 5500 pound axles to make sure this never happens again. It hard to find good service now in days. This place is a joke and they will overcharge you for parts and labor. Chris a worker her was also extremely unprofessional and unapologetic to are misfortunes and he went out of his way to make jokes about the situation with are car. He also did a overpriced diagnostics and then failed to write what was wrong with the car on the receipt it just said "Diagnostics" When I confronted him about this he agin had a unprofessional attitude. Awesome service! Chris spent lots of time with me on the phone helping me figure out a California Smog issue. There was no catalytic converter for my RV for the state of California.
