I explained everything that was going on and they agreed with my husband's Google search that it was likely from the body control module. When I tell you this car has been a puzzle for these guys for the last 3 weeks I mean, I'm not sure how they managed to keep their cool and convinced themselves to keep trying. They were well within justification to tell me to come tow it away and be done with it. I put 266k miles on this car in 9 years. It could easily have just pooped out but this is the most problems I've ever had with the car. Anyway, 3 weeks, calls in to GM and Chevrolet and still no answers but they didn't give up and at the end of 3 weeks I have my car back and it drives like new! I also couldn't believe what it ended up costing after all that trouble. I am so grateful to this repair shop and they probably just gained a new customer. I love my old mechanic but I'm not sure he can handle these new fandangled mostly electric cars.

I guess I thought during the first 3 calls, and having my vehicle towed there would have been me requesting an appointment? Meanwhile everyone is telling me the will check it out, they will get back to me and yet, after no calls, no feedback, and no one checking out my car. I am told I don't have an appointment. Maybe during the first call when I said, "High I am stuck on the highway and not from town can I have my vehicle towed to your location to get help" the first thing the person would say, is "Sure, let me look at our appointment schedule to see when we could take a look at it." Meanwhile I am struggling with my Schedule waiting daily, hourly for updates to figure out when I can go home. Finally I just picked up the vehicle without any work being done and found someone else to help. There is so much more I could write about the absolute horrible communication and shenanigans. Just be honest and organized and tell your potential clients your process the first time they call, or second, or maybe even third time, Not the 4th, 3 days later....

When we went to do the work ourselves we discovered the parts they said needed to be replaced DIDNT need to be, verified by a gear head I know. So not only did they want to charge a ridiculous amount, they didn't even diagnose the issue correctly. They used to be reliable, not sure what's changed but be wary and get a second opinion.
