I am sure the persons who arranged the lights for the park was very careful to know and pick which trees could support how much extra weight. It was so beautiful. Now every year that I am able, I will go back to see the Holiday Display at Vetruvian Park. Last year I was in hospital from mid-December until February 13. I felt like I had let down a good friend when I couldn't make my annual voyage. I don't know how many more years I have been given, but to celebrate the birthday of Christ I will be there among the Angel Lights! Go see them! It's a wonderful experience for all!

There were 11 of us in my group including 5 children. None of us had ever used a paddle board. Kevin trained us up and had us on boards in 15 minutes. His instruction was seamless and no one had any issues except me! Lol i fell off my board more times than everyone in my group combined. Penny realized that I needed to use the 12ft board and once I used it, I had no issues standing. I am 6 ft tall, so it makes a difference which board you use. Kevin and Penny stayed in the water with us the entire time and were patient and calm. I can't wait to return with my daughter - a really great way to spend a warm afternoon.

I've been on a paddle board before but Kevan's instructions helped me be more efficient. Both my friend and I felt like we learned something new. Speaking of that, while you might not necessarily fall in I would say it's best to wear something that will get wet. Even sitting on the board you'll get damp. So swimsuit or athletic shorts and shirts that dry quick are great. There's also a lot of good restaurants walking distance so stay a while and enjoy the area. You can also stay at the Omni or several other hotels and walk there. Highly recommend! Have fun!
