The owner & designer was very receptive to an ideaI had to create a living & substantial design for a grand opening of a friend's massage and skin care boutique in Chicago. I live in California and the distance was a factor, but David assured me he would come up with an original and a very Zen like arrangement and deliver to her. He designed an amazing arrangement with orchids & succulents, and he even created a 2nd arrangement, which was equally gorgeous. Not only did he text me pics of vases to choose from and walk me through flower choices and options, but he created an original design just for the occasion. The photo says it all- Simply STUNNING! Today was my daughter's birthday. She was depressed because her boyfriend was sick and she was alone. I called Mudd Fleur this morning and was able to get a custom designed arrangement using her favorite colors and long lasting flowers, hand delivered by the florist himself. I really appreciate the service and care they took to create this arrangement. I always try to avoid the internet arrangements because I feel I get a better product when I call a local florist, and Mudd Fleur did not disappoint! 2023 update: 6 top doctors across 3 states so far, countless treatments/meds, I'm down to pain management to live with this life long condition caused by this business. I'm running out of options and utterly depressed with this permanent injury. To be clear: unlike what the owner responded publicly, this was NEVER about money. If money can reverse my damage, I'd be much better by now as the medical expenses related to this injury is the most I had in life and it's still going. I'm comfortably retired and just wanted to enjoy my life. Never in a millions years had I known, worst decision was to give him the business opportunity...I TRULY TRULY just want to feel better both physically and emotional...I still wish this business well as it's hard to be a small biz owner in today's macroeconomic environment, but the daily struggle that I try to make peace with my condition is beyond words can describe, may this be a lesson for everyone. read more

Firstly I'd like to say that I highly recommend Mudd Fleur. It's important to support small business, florists included, and MF does a great job. The process was fairly simple and the end result was beautiful. The flowers were great! The owner was also extremely flexible in ensuring that I got the best product available. The delivery process needs a little hashing out. It seems there's no clear line of communication during the delivery process...be proactive in reaching out. My order was also delivered at 3:30 PM so consider this when ordering. But don't let this deter you! MF is great. read more

Aside from the wrong address listed, I was so amazed and loved the flowers. My daughter loved the on trend style corsage. I have received 2 gorgeous arrangements from Mudd, both from CS Magazine/ CS Brides as a thank you for helping them out with events. Both were unique, modern, and absolutely beautiful. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I have no idea what the pricing is like, and I'd hate to have to go back on my word if I found out that they were $300 for a small arrangement or something. Based on their client list (Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Harpo Studios to name a few) I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. But they sure were purty! read more

Liked that this place had a wide range of prices and flower styles to choose from, also really liked that it was a local company instead of FTD or 1800 Flowers. They finished the design within a couple of hours and then even sent me a picture of what the bouquet looked like before it went out for delivery, something I've never gotten before and was much appreciated.
