I liked that they were honest with me after my first maintenance appointment about frequency of visits needed. They easily could have lied and told me I needed yearly maintenance but the guy said the system was clean enough that I could probably extend to every 2 years if all was working well. At my second appointment earlier this year, Mike came out and not only did the routine maintenance, but went in depth to investigate a shower heating problem I was having ever since we had a different plumbing group reinstall a shower. He didn't charge anything for essentially a consultation, and even gave me a discount on the maintenance since I had two water heaters. Based on my two appointments, feel like these guys are genuine, competent, professional, and reasonably priced which is seemingly rarer to find post-COVID.

We had an emergency evacuation of our residence after Mike and team struggled with installation of a new furnace in our home. He left us with a gas leak in our home which was resolved by RI Energy last week on February 27, 2026. We contacted Mike Cambio to inform him of the gas leak found in our home but, not surprised, he never responded. This Priority Plumbing Company has only one PRIORITY, it's about how much money they can get from you and and how quickly they can get out of your house before you notice damages or serious problems. This is a bad company to let into your home. Do not trust this company.

I scheduled a service call for a boiler issue that was causing a loss of hot water. The tech came…read moreout, reset a button on the boiler, and left without identifying the underlying cause of the problem. The technician's only action was to reset a button on the boiler. No root cause was identified, no diagnosis was provided, and the exact same problem returned shortly after the tech left. I called back immediately and only receptionist would speak to me and said nothing could be done as it was the weekend and no management was available....UNACCEPTABLE. As a result, my household was left without hot water for the entire weekend! What is MOST frustrating is they charge a non-refundable diagnostic/scheduling fee and state that the purpose of the visit is to inspect, diagnose, and provide solutions. I expected a professional diagnosis and repair, not a temporary reset that failed almost immediately!

A 208 BTU oil fired burner was taken out and a 130 bBTU gas burner was installed which is not enough to heat the house to more than 58 degrees when the temperature goes down to the single digits. I narrowly avoided a propane explosion because of this company's failure to fix a common problem…read more They repaired a water leak on the boiler in November, then we scheduled an inspection/cleaning in December since the unit had no been serviced in quite a few years, which Kafin was aware of. On both occasions, the technician had to relight the pilot and never said a word about the corroded thermocouple right there in plain sight. (for those who are not familiar with a thermocouple, it's the MOST common item to fail, especially in cold weather). This should have been caught on one of those 2 visits. We began smelling gas in the garage the last week in January. When the boiler stopped working the following Saturday, along with a strong gas smell upstairs, we requested an emergency service call. The technician found the thermocouple was severely corroded, also causing the gas to leak. The bad part was replaced and the boiler re-lit. Their failure to catch the problem on either of previous visits almost caused a gas explosion. I cannot recommend this company.

I told him what we wanted and he had Mike and another guy there THE NEXT morning!! The men were friendly and even took the time to wipe up any footprints they made before they left! Two weeks later, our heater shut off (not related to them it turned out to be leaking from rainstorm and a little got to the heater and tripped the anti-flood system.) Called Joe at 6:30am and Mike and the other guy were there around 9:30 to check it out and thoroughly checked all possibilities. They even saw the potential spot that water was coming in on chimney and put a little bit of sealant on it to see if that helps. I will recommend Feula Plumbing & Heating to EVERYONE who needs those services!! Joe is readily available and explains everything and Mike and man (I wish I knew his name) are FANTASTIC!

Kevin transparently and honestly told me I was better off getting providence water contacted for repairing some of it which I appreciated. When my boiler and radiator were leaking, Kevin's crew came out fast to look at it. Ultimately took a little while to get everything fixed but the guys worked professionally and efficiently to get the job done. The bill came in a little high for just patchwork (no new components or parts were used so it was 95% labor except for some plumbers putty) but it was lower than the "high end" of the quote I got. Despite the cost, the benefit here is you know what you're getting and that (so far based on my experience anyway) is an honest job and reliable company. So, if you're looking for the cheapest, fastest option you probably want to go elsewhere. If you're looking for a reputable company that tells you straight up what's going on, gives you an estimate and sticks to it, then Five Star is your company!
