I had no idea this store had so much cool shit. Well actually until they got their soap I had no idea it existed. I also got a very nice razor. Best part is you can return used blades and they recycle them for you. I really wish they'd open something like this in Germantown. Soap dish made out of used car parts was pretty cool.

I am in the business as a major property manager and thought these guys were the best to retrofit three bathrooms at my house. They were almost 5 months late starting our work. This is after giving them a 6k deposit. This company did everything to the T that contractors can do to a client. I could type a thousand words about the company, but just be told, stay AWAY. They really did everything bad that a contractor can do to a client, I mean everything that you see on TV about bad contractors. They actually laughed about it to me during a meeting. It has cost me a few thousand in the past few years fixing their issues. I make sure that they do no work in my complex and if I can in my neighborhood. WATCH YOURSELF!

The cabinets have glue all over them, the drawers are crooked, there's scuffs and scratches, and things had to go back because they were the wrong size. Such nice people until they get your money. Stay Away! If you'd like to see the pictures of the defects let me know. Then you can see I'm not exaggerating. One star only because I had to give something, but they're really a negative five. Edited to add: after contacting the manufacturer, someone got back to me saying they had been trying to contact me. What a coincidence that they could only get a hold of me after going over their heads. Today I received a follow-up email from Mr. Donatucci himself basically blaming my contractor. I guess it's my contractor's fault that the wrong hinges were put on the doors and they arrived scuffed and scratched and crooked and glue residue all over them. Way to try to deflect poor workmanship. So unprofessional and condescending. Please stay far away! I wouldn't deal with them even if everything was free.

I knew they were the ones that I wanted for my renovations, after being referred to by one of my condo neighbors who used them in the past. I'm quite surprised there aren't many reviews here for A&P, as I know a number of my area neighbors have been using them and are quite happy. Anyways.... Tom, the co-owner, has been super enjoyable to visit at their beautiful East Passyunk office. He listens to what's important to you, makes suggestions when appropriate, provides an organized roadmap of decisions, and gives you the flexibility and patience needed when figuring out what you want them to do. My work foreman Chris has been equally great throughout the actual renovation period. His work is done with care, he made it easy to communicate with me about what to expect and what my choices were for the smaller details, he took the initiative to suggest a couple furnishings that would better complete the vision I had for my place, and follows up with you to make sure that you are happy. I met the other co-owner, Sal, who seems like a great guy to work with also; I'm not sure if this could be called a 'family business' exactly, but they all work together like a great family and certainly are good, friendly people. I certainly did not have this experience with other contractors, even just with the proposal phase. A&P has been great to work with, and provides you quality products and workmanship, they put such care into their work, they provide that work at a reasonable price, and they really help you fulfill the vision you have for your home (or business). You should check them out!

Working with Chris at A&P Custom Kitchens was great -- from planning the layout and design and the selection of tiles, cabinets, countertops. Chris and his team worked efficiently from demo to completion and we are delighted with the end result. We would definitely consider working with them again as needs arise in the future. They have worked on many, many kitchens and bathrooms in our condo towers and have very satisfied customers! We recommend them highly.

So cutting to the chase, our counters look great. We required two slabs and they promised the seam would be clean, and indeed it is beautiful. You have to damn near search to find it. They also threw in a matching cutting board salvaged from the sink cutout. That was a nice touch. If I had to offer constructive criticism it would be this. They didnt mount my dishwasher to the counter bc they said my space was 24.5" and they only had a 24" bracket. They didn't mention it and I had to notice and inquire later. Would've been nice if they'd spec'ed that out beforehand; I would've found something custom myself if need be. So consider that. Lastly, the counter came in a few weeks after they guesstimated, but in fairness, I never called and harangued them about deadlines etc bc I wasn't ready for the counter anyhow. So I left the timing to the gods and it all worked out. The dishwasher thing really is enough to knock this down a star or two (bc now I have to figure out a solution). But their customer service and otherwise attentiveness was such a pleasure, and the counters really do look amazing, so gonna say we're overall very satisfied. Would definitely recommend. Thanks, Danny and Erika.

After finishing up with what I was doing in the area and on my way home I would run in here and grab what I needed. I parked near the exit and took the long walk to the entrance. That way when I was done inside I would be able to make the walk to my vehicle quicker. Once inside, I took the shortest route I could to the sections I needed. Which is never easy in an IKEA. I headed towards the lighting section to pick up what I needed and then browsed for shades. Found one that I liked and started to head towards the exit...or at least what I thought was the exit. A shout out to Peggy, who actually helped instead of telling like the other employee - he should keep in mind that this store is huge and extra!!!
