How convenient and good timing. So I said okay and I wasn't going to work with them because the timing was suspicious. But I said that I would still work with them. So we scheduled another day. I received an email asking if they could come out on a specific day and I said yes but I guess I didn't respond that same day and that was a problem. The next email I got was a response with the another date almost two weeks later. I asked what happend to the earlier date and I was told the sales rep books up fast and they got booked and then the asked me if I wanted another sales rep and I said yes and asked what time could they make it. The final email the sent me said after checking they don't service my area. Like really?! I already gave them my address the first time we talked, and now y'all don't service my area? Which is the Philadelphia area. That's real strange to me and still confused by their actions and responses. I wasn't rude or anything. Maybe someone will have better luck with this company but I couldn't be okay without sharing this with whoever decides to contact this company and maybe they will see this and not do this to the next potential customer.

A few other flooring service people came in and pronounced solemnly that I needed to REPLACE THE ENTIRE HOUSE's HARDWOOD FLOORING, even though the damage was limited to a fairly small section near the bathroom. Replacing the ENTIRE HOUSE's hardwood would have meant a complete clearout of all my belongings, and a lengthy hotel stay for me. A MAJOR DISRUPTION. When the reps came in and heard it was an insurance claim, CHA CHING! They saw dollar signs. They didn't care about the ethics of sticking it to an insurance company OR causing even more stress and disruption in my life. They just saw dollar signs. Unlike the rest of them, John Welsh was my saving grace. He came in, looked around, smiled and said "this is a repair and not even a big one at that." John was my saving grace and guardian angel in all of this chaos. He is HONEST, ETHICAL, does a great job quickly and painlessly and is a really nice and sociable person and fun to have around. The floor is perfect and you cannot tell there was ever a problem. I can recommend John Welsh without ANY reservations.
