I discovered the shop a few weeks ago when I noticed one of my tires was low in our new car and I…read morecouldn't figure out why every time I filled it with air it would still go back to being low... Sebastian was quick to discover that I had a tiny nail in one of my tires. Oops! He ended up catching it on the spot. I had two options (which I forgot what they were hahaha) but opted to get it patched and I have not had any issues since. The interaction that I had with Sebastian was very positive; he made me feel comfortable as a woman that knows nothing about cars and was kind and communicative. We have an older vehicle that also needed servicing, so I decided to take it here based on that small interaction! The following week I brought our other older vehicle for some TLC: an oil change, tuneup, new tires, front brake pad replacement, and some thing else but I forgot haha There was a minor discovery when they were doing the job and called me immediately to tell me what the issue was and to receive my authorization to fix it (a gasket, or some thing had a crack in it no biggie). Thanks to Sebastian and the Cortez staff, I am no longer paranoid driving our older car back-and-forth to work. Awesome customer service + skilled mechanics + fair, pricing = extreme value! Thank you for your honesty, communication and expertise. I would not hesitate to recommend the shop and will continue to bring my vehicles here.

Gate and doors were open. I walked in and found a man sitting on a chair. He immediately asked me…read morehow he could help me. (So obviously he was open for business). I said " I have a 1961 rambler", he cut me off and said he was not taking old cars. I replied with "What I need might be an eas job". He immediately disrespectfuly replied with a rude and unprofessional and aggressive tone "Then why you Fucking here". . . I replied with "Excuse me" . . then the conversation immediately escalated and almost became physical, as he threatened me. I recorded him on my phone as I walked away. He then followed me out cursing at me. This guy was obviously having a bad day. This is no way to treat an inquiring customer or ANY HUMAN for that matter! I wont assume what triggered him to react this way, but I was very polite and respectful. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

When it was done I come to find out the engine is no good and needed repairs. And again took care of the repairs at an affordable price. No joke done in days and was patient enough to wait til I was able to make a full payment. He even suggested remove the after market 22" rims I had on and replace them with the original for less weight and less horse power usage. It's been over a year now and she's running beautifully and safe for my family and I. It's hard the find and trust a good mechanic and one can only learn from experiences but after my experience I will never look for another mechanic again. Real humble workers, family owned with excellent customer service.

This turned out to be a great place to bring my car to!…read more I needed to replace the VSA (?) module that had become defective. Okay, so I looked up the price for a new one and almost had a heart attack! My car is a 2005 Acura RL, and the part cost well over $3500.00! So, I decided to take a chance and buy a used one off of eBay, for about $340.00. But, I still needed to get it installed...well, why not? Okay, so I had not been to this shop before, but because the estimate is free, I stopped by to get one. The owner told me he'd do it for $200.00, which is what I was thinking it would cost to have it installed. So, we made arrangements to have the work done on 12/26/2025. When I dropped the car off, I also asked to have the power steering pump checked for leaks. He said he will check that out and let me know. A little while later he called and said the reservoir had a crack and the part would cost only $50.00. I asked how much for the labor and he said, "no charge, since he had to remove it to get to the VSA module". WOW! That's what I call an honest, reliable owner! Only had to pay for the part! So, since he could get the part right away, I said to go ahead and replace it. The VSA module was also replaced the same day, and my car was good to go. I liked this place so much, that my better half brought her car here for servicing as well. She asked him to also check for an oil leak. He found it and said it would be an additional $90 to fix the leak by replacing the part. Very reasonable we thought, so she told him to do the work. Her car was finished in a timely manner, and all work done was very reasonably price, and he charged the price he quoted. So far, neither of us has had any problems with the service that was done. Both cars work great, and will be back when future servicing is needed. I highly recommend this business!
