Do not let your friends buy a vehicle here, it will be a dangerous decision for the safety of the occupants, your bank account + will cause you to lose faith in small businesses! We purchased a car in May for our 19 year old daughter. We had concerns that the company told us not to worry, that we would be fully taken care of. We told them our concerns and they took $1000 off the car for that day only and offered us a warranty that would cover the issue! We then had another issue and had to have the car towed to their mechanic - who replaced 1 coil and 1 spark plug and they promised this was the problem. Why would you only change 1? It's at the year when they all should be changed. Many texts and calls and have been outright ignored! The problem began again, sane as before! So we paid $800 to get the problem fixed (ie the rest of the coils and plugs changed over). This worked for a week then the misfiring turned into stalling. The company is not willing to do anything although we told them that due to what happened to our friends daughter, that this car must be in tip top shape. So much lip service, so many hallow promises and complete disregard for a persons safety, my child's safety, and disregard to admit they purchased a lemon from the auction! We had a mechanic look at it and the code came up and was clear what the issue was - bmw valvetronic eccentric shaft sensor (see picture). So they tried to bandaid the problem - which is criminal. $90 deductible and only $1000 covered is this warranty they issued for a problem that will cost $3000 to fix? They knew the cost it's a common problem! Unacceptable - disgusting and we are filing with consumer protection BC, BBB of Canada, Vehicle Sales Authority and filing in small claims court! Not only did they honour everything they promised to fix, they also had it all done in about 4 hours. I was so impressed with how well I was treated and how amazing of a job they did. Richard dang went above and beyond. I explained how impressed I was with everything and he responded very humbly saying he was doing his job. What a great job it was. At the time of purchase, we were encouraged to buy an extended warranty. Since the car was brand new, we believed it was a prudent decision and trusted that Acura would guide us in the right direction. We purchased the extended warranty for $2,800, understanding that $800 would be the actual cost and that if we did not use the coverage, we would receive a $2,000 refund after six years. The company you HIGHLY recommended held our money for six years without any interest payments. Unfortunately, because we did not submit a refund request within four months of the warranty's expiration, (we submitted at 5 1/2 months unaware of time frame)we were informed that we are no longer eligible to receive our reimbursement. We are extremely disappointed by this policy, which feels misleading and unfair. Yes, we didn't read the 6 page contract in mini font with the last few few lines saying we needed to apply for a refund within time frame. we trusted our sales re to be providing fair service. It is disheartening that a company we trusted would support an insurance provider that does not prioritize best practices. We have been loyal customers, however this experience has made us feel that your company does not truly stand behind its customers. We urge you to reconsider recommending this insurance provider in the future to prevent other customers from experiencing similar frustrations.

Also note pricing of its higher trims not that far off from an EV .
