Save your money....don't shop here. I purchased a guy from the "owner" at the end of September…read more They helped me with financing but my credit needs work and found me what I thought was a great car. I traded in my 2011 Dodge Journey because I was driving 30 minutes to work each day and wanted something better on gas and more reliable. (if only I had known what I know now!!) For the first 2 months the car was good, then with the first snowfall the drivers window would go down but not up. Whatever, it's a used car and I could deal with it. Then a week ago the transmission started slipping out of gear and I felt like the car was slowing me down all the time. I took it to a transmission shop and they told me the front bearing have gone and the transmission needs work. I contacted the owner, Adam and he basically told me "you're on your own" here's a quote from their website: (oh, they also can't spell check) "Our vehicles leave here clean and safetied. We take care of you after the sale. If something is wrong we will fix it. We don't offer shady warranties. Here at BCCARS.ca, you are guaranteed to get a great deal but most importantly, great service. Both during and after the sale." He told me in a very condescending tone that "cars come with maintenance, it's the price of owning a car". I did some research and found out that in BC there is a law that states the following information on the VSA website. (Vehicle Sales Authority) they license car dealers and salesmen in BC. Under the law in BC, a level of quality, performance and durability is implied into every sales contract. When you buy a car from a dealer, it has to be: fit for the purpose you bought it for of "merchantable" quality (it has to run) durable for a reasonable period of time "as described" These conditions are the legal warranty. They apply whether the dealer mentions them or not. If the car is faulty or it's not as described, the legal warranty is your escape hatch. It can give you the right to get the car repaired or replaced -- or cancel the contract and get your money back. So I contacted Adam again and laid out what I needed to make things right, either take the car back, cancel the financing and give me the $4000 for my car or give me a different car. I don't feel safe driving something that is already having so many issues and I shouldn't have a 7 year loan for a car that's a piece of junk. I provided the information that I found on the VSA website and he told me "that doesn't apply to you". His response was again, immature and condescending....basically he told me he didn't want to speak to me anymore. I guess he doesn't like women who stand up for themselves. So far I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the VSA and I've contacted several TV stations. I've also posted reviews everywhere I can think of to warn people not to be taken in by them, especially women. When contacted by the BBB regarding my complaint his response was "I have bad credit and I'm playing the victim." He had nothing to say about the car or his responses to me or the fact that there is a Legal Warranty that he must abide by. They do not stand behind what they sell, they do not honour their words and they do not care at all about you after they sell you a car.

Alexandra, Adam & David are the best! Helped me into my new ride this year. Much appreciated…read more Thanks! Would highly recommend this dealership. Do your due diligence like anywhere else. Read your Carfax and know what you are getting into. A nice, clean, well managed business. I am so grateful for my new Dodge Journey SXT. The search was worth the wait. It is even better to be able to support local businesses.
