You can clearly see patterned water jet marks where a car wash removed the finish. Rear two panels still look brand new. A tonneau cover should be able to go through a car wash. Well within the 12 month warranty period. They denied my claim and said it was caused by "outside influence". Appealing to the corporate Toyota legal dept and filed a claim with the BBB. This is so ridiculous. It is defective. If corporate Toyota denies the claim we will go to small claims court. Toyota is not the company they used to be. Beyond disappointed.

Mike is the best. I've known this for a long time, but I was recently reminded of it when I went to…read moreNorth Hills Toyota because the tire indicator light was on. They found a spike in the (nearly brand-new) tire and quoted me $150 for a new tire. I asked if they could patch it. They said size and placement of the spike made them unable to. I had them put the tire back on as-is, and took it to Mike. It was 15 minutes to close, and he still happily took a look at the tire. There was a spike, but his technicians said not only could they patch it, it was a standard, easy patch. I walked out 25 minutes later (his staff happily working past closing time) having only paid $10 for the patch. Every encounter I've had with Kress Tire has been pleasant, quick, and cheaper than elsewhere, with superior service. I heartily recommend them. Edited 10/2015 - Over a year later, and that same tire is still rolling. So glad I didn't get suckered into buying a brand new tire from North Hills Toyota.

If you live in the Murrysville/Monroeville area I highly recommend taking your car to Jeff's Auto…read morefor maintenance and inspections. I usually get oil changes, tire service, brakes, alignments, and inspections at Jeff's. That's mainly all that I've needed for the 4 years that have gone here. I don't know much about cars so if somebody tells me I need brakes or I need some random part for my car I wouldn't know if I was getting cheated or not. I don't have to worry about this at Jeff's. There has been numerous times where I felt that other mechanics would have taken advantage of my lack of car knowledge and made me pay for things that I didn't need. For example I took my car in for an inspection. I knew I was going to need brakes soon but I wasn't sure when. They called me and said I was close to needing brakes but if I came back in 5 months I should be good. I felt like at another car shop they would have just said I needed brakes now to pass inspection. So I did come back in 5 months and I did need brakes then but I was able to save for 5 months and not worry about them getting bad. I can trust these guys. It feels good that when there is something wrong with my car or when I make an appointment for my car inspection that I know I will be getting great service and the truth about my car.
