Also very rude when we went up to the counter buying our items. He was never at the counter but as we sat down in the corner with out hot dogs he was just standing there staring at us, not going around the store like he usually did. This guy has issues. Not to mention there was missing ingredients in the hotdog but we only noticed when we got home, and I wasn't too keen on going back to Buffalo Bill behind the counter. read more

I love ordering sheetz food but i waited 20 minutes for food and all crew members were just standing around doing nothing.

Very poor handling of what could have been an easy situation. My friends and I are 21 and 22 and decided to go to this Sheetz to buy alcohol. The cashier took my two friends ID's, went to a different room and did not say where she was taking them or what she was doing. NEVER scanned them. When she returned, she said both ID's were fake, and was refusing the sale. I then asked if we could have an officer come look at them, but did not get the chance to as a man with an airpod in one ear and not in any sort of uniform came out from behind the counter and said, "time to leave," and escorted us to the car. Driving around in this city can be fun. Fun to the point that you don't realize you are in need of gas until just about the last moment before it hits E. That was me on this particular day and like many other Pittsburghers I was roaming around aimlessly in a neighborhood I was unfamiliar with. Library Rd can be just as confusing and traffic jammed as the Parkway. However I had luck on my side when I came around a bed and say the red canopy. This location is on the larger side of things. The lot, the store and just about everything here is larger than most other Sheetz I have been to. No need to worry whether or not you will get a pump for gas as there are ample pumps. Gas prices are the norm for the area. Inside the store itself was large as well. Enough room to maneuver around without bumping into other people or the shelving. Staff were pleasant and efficient. The one thing I can never understand about Sheetz is why do they put those fake windows on the side of the building? Is it to be more welcoming? I don't get it, then they put advertising in those fake windows. Whatever, as long as I can get what I want fast, I'm a happy camper. read more

Loved the store, not so much now. It's clean, great snack choices, and the employees are very nice. So, what's wrong you ask, well in a move that can only be justified as "cost saving" they decided not to sell their Sheetz brand of ice. They've replaced it with an absolutely dreadful chunk ice. Did you even look at the ice before you started selling it? Some pieces are so big they wont fit into a glass. It's also highly aerated chalk white, with an aftertaste. Honestly the only application for this ice is that you could use it to cool down polar bears at the zoo. It's not for human consumption. I used to go out of my way to get to your store as a GetGo is closer. I am not a casual buyer of ice. I purchased at least 6 bags per week, and when our book club met, I would buy an additional 4 bags. I also purchased snacks, beer, soda, coffee, cigarettes and an occasional lunch. I wasn't loyal as a gas customer, but I did fill up my SUV gas guzzler at least once a month. I estimate that I spent at least 3,500 a year at your store. Will you miss my business? Hardly. I'm just a small blip on you balance sheets. Right now, there isn't much happiness going on, your ice made me happy. I miss the square crunchy little cubes. This is a relatively new sheetz, and it's close to where I live - so I was excited when they opened. The restaurant was clean and the parking lot was slightly confusing. When I arrived, I wasn't in the mood for the typical fried food that I order, so I ordered a salad instead. Halfway through my salad, I notice what appeared to be a dark piece of lettuce, so I proceed to pick it up to take it out of my salad. That's when I noticed that it wasn't lettuce, but a dead moth. Now.... I have worked in the food industry for quite a long time... I understand that bugs can get into food and that it's not always something that a restaurant can avoid... But this thing was huge. I was so completely and utterly disgusted, I walked out of the building and told my boyfriend to talk to management. They refunded me for the salad, but not the meal my boyfriend had or my drink. I called the next day to discuss the situation and explain to them that I was dissatisfied with the customer service I received... I would have appreciated a manager apologizing to me or even just talking to me about it. I also believe that I should have been refunded for our entire order... Something as horrific as finding a giant dead moth in your meal cannot be forgotten or forgiven by simply refunding the customer for the salad. When I spoke to a manager, they suggested that I could come to the store and receive another salad on the house- which I respectfully declined. Primarily I come here for the car wash during road salt season. The touchless car wash does a good job. Like at most car washes, the drying never seems to be enough so if you're fastidious I recommend bring a towel to get any remaining water. (Since it is winter, I don't bother with that!). I like Sheetz and it is often a toss up between them and GetGo. But as far as the Sheetz close to me I like this one best. Mainly because it actually has a nice seating area in it with plenty of plugs and USB ports if you need them. I will often hit this after I get off work at night if I didn't eat anything at work. And if I am home and leave for something I will often choose this over the GetGos at the Park Entrance, unless I need gas that is. For some reason it seems easier to get in and out of as I turn off of 88 onto Brightwood then back onto 88 rather than stay on 88 and into the Park entrance area. Plus this place actually HAS dark chocolate. ummmmmm, I love dark chocolate. Otherwise the rest of my review is the same for most of the Sheetz. The food is good, prices fair, and a darn good selection of stuff they can make for you or what you can get off of the shelves. They are pretty clean and organized too, which I like. read more

Pretty standard sheetz store. The parking lot is kind of confusing, not real easy to get in and out of. I ordered two wraps from the MTO counter. Both wraps were loose, the people making them could use some practice. It also took quite some time for my order to come up even though it was not very busy. I used to frequent Sheetz stores all the time in my college days. So much so that I was super excited to see that they were building one near me! However this Sheetz is a HUGE disappointment. Waited 20 mins for a turkey pretzel melt and Fries. What I got was a pretzel melt with two thin slices of turkey and one small tomato slice that tasted rotten. We could order pizza, but honestly, the pizza at Sheetz is better. Their chicken sandwiches are fabulous! You can customize pretty much anything you order from the touch screen. I love their spicy grilled chicken sandwich, yum yum! Their French fries are my favorite when compared with all fast food fries (and most restaurant fries too)! Their specialty coffee menu is great! It's great coffee, customized to how you want it, per your input on the touch screen, at a price that's less than Starbucks. Overall, I'm a fan of Sheetz MTO food and their drinks! I love this place. I'm in there constantly. The touch-screen MTO machines are awesome. I love how they make it easy to customize your order. The food is always excellent- who knew gas station food could be so tasty? They always get the orders completed really quickly, even on busy nights. I don't know how they do it! Closest Sheetz to where I live. For being off of an interstate on a Saturday night you would think they would be busy. As the sheetz in other towns I frequent are. However, this place e was like a ghost town both times I visited. The first time my husband and I ordered a ham and cheese pretzel melt which we waited am extended period of time for. When I opened the sandwich pulling out of the parking lot the cheese was not even melted and the ham was cold! Didn't want to turn back around as we were running late. Tonight we gave it a second chance. Again, ghost town 1 or 2 food workers. And I ordered nachos. 10 minutes later they told me they are out of tortilla chips! What place (especially someone who is pride upon their food) runs out of nachos? I already had a bad experience and from last time and just asked for a refund. Not to mention they were out of sheetz cards that I needed to receive a discount on some other items I purchased. The manager on duty didn't even offer to bypass and use his card or a store card as most grocery stores do if you forget yours. Especially if none are available. I had to ask him. In response he was rude. I usually love sheetz but the experiences at this location will make me not ever come back to Bethel for a sheetz trip. Pottsville and Schuylkill Haven locations are much much better and worth the extra trip. read more
