A good friend and trusted mechanic Dan Johnson recommended calling here. I rang them up looking for some used tires (you know cause I don't have that new tire money right about now) they had two sets of nearly new tires. Super great price 1/3-1/4 cost of new ones and quotes at out the door price. No nonsense or hidden fees. Having the wifi password would of been nice but I wasn't complaining. Luckily I had service so I could watch some streaming while waiting. The tv was hooked up to a roku but was just on the screensaver so that wasn't too much action going on there. While I was there I even got pricing for new tires for my mom and that too was quoted out the door pricing which I really respect the upfront no bs no nonsense pricing. I would most certainly recommend bringing your vehicle here.

Receptionist lied about phone being broken, she was busted on the spot when I called while there and it rang. She was too busy watching tv with volume up. She is also owners wife. Was left waiting for over 45 minutes after my appointment. Not because they were busy. But because owner left to go pick up his kids. In fact no other customers in sight. When I messaged him, he called me a d#!k and told me he didn't need me or my business. He has a history of this which the Google reviews show. Please look at screen shots I took. He also made Facebook ads, calling himself Rich tires. These people are crooks.

After jumping through a lot of hoops trying to figure out the warranty process, I finally got a claim approved and went to a different authorized dealer to have it handled. That place refused to provide any documentation that the tires were safe, even though they insisted the bubbling was "normal" from factory banding, and in the same breath told me my claim was approved. The whole experience turned into hours of sleazy sales tactics and a quote that was higher than simply buying the exact same tires elsewhere. I already knew the pricing because I had been looking around. By the time I reached Fuzzy Simon Tire Service, I was frustrated and unsure who to trust. Fuzzy's was a completely different experience from the moment I spoke with them. They didn't rush me, dismiss me, or talk in circles. They actually listened, to the full story, the warranty details, and my concerns about safety. They inspected the tires themselves and immediately confirmed what no one else would say out loud, even though the defect had already been identified at the dealership: the bubbling on all four tires was not normal, not safe, and absolutely not something I should be driving on. What stood out most was their honesty. They didn't try to upsell me, scare me, or push me into anything. They simply told the truth, explained the defect clearly, and treated me with respect. They also went above and beyond on the warranty side. Instead of making excuses or putting the burden back on me, they contacted Goodyear directly, verified the claim, and handled all the legwork. No hassle, no pressure, no back‑and‑forth, just real help. They didn't have the tires in stock, but they found a store that did, ordered them immediately, and kept the process moving without delay. Their professionalism, transparency, and genuine care were on a completely different level. After the runaround I had been through, it meant so much to finally be taken seriously and to have someone prioritize my safety over a sale. Fuzzy's is absolutely a place you can trust. They do things the right way, they treat people with integrity, and they go above and beyond when it matters. I'm incredibly grateful for how they handled everything, and I won't take my car anywhere else.

They torched off my lugs and bashed it with a hammer, after I informed them that I just had an alignment and wanted them to pay for a new one. Nancy laughed in my face. Know what I hate? I…read moreHATE dealing with car stuff. All of it. I always feel like the guys in car repair places take one look at me and see an easy mark. They hear "cha-ching" in their heads as they chuckle to themselves while they wink knowingly at me and murmer "don't you worry, sweetheart" and pat me on the shoulder. The thing is, I'm not entirely incognizant about cars, and I am usually aware when I'm being ripped off, patronized or taken advantage of. I also hate when you tell a business what your budget is, and they immediately assume that is your STARTING price, and have no problem completely ignoring the amount you said you wanted to spend. BUT - that *never* happens at Highland Tire. NEVER. This is possibly THE most woman-friendly car-related place I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. They thoroughly answer all your questions and explain their suggestions. I have been buying tires here for several years now, and I *happily* drive to Tarentum (we live in the North Hills) every time. It's not always easy getting everything you need on a budget, and in the current economy, everybody's either looking for a way to save money or looking for ways to separate you from yours. Highland Tire will try to help if you have budget constraints, and if they don't have anything that will work within your budget, they will explain the options they do have. If they think what you want to do is not a good idea (like, for example, saving money by keeping tires that really aren't safe) they will tell you... they'll SHOW you why they think it's a bad idea and give you all the options. They don't immediately try to sell you the fanciest, most expensive product by scaring you with horror stories of what could happen if you don't take their advice- they are honest and fast, and I have found their prices to be consistently lower than almost any other place I've dealt with. Truthfully, price is only a part of the reason I trust them. You can buy "cheap" anywhere, but I feel they are honest, and that is worth the drive AND the rare occasion when their price isn't the lowest. I NEVER feel taken advantage of, condescended-to or uncomfortable in any way. There's a small waiting room with (mostly guy-friendly) magazines and a tv and some vending machines. I've rarely been there long enough to finish a can of soda, though. (did I mention they're fast?) AND they give you a flower when you check out. :-) Love that. One day, when the economy turns around and my business is crazy successful, I am coming over here and buying the best tires I can find from these guys. I'm getting SIX of them, so I have two extras, JUST because I like dealing with them so much. They've been so helpful over the years, and have saved me SO much money- I can't wait till I can afford to come here and say "go nuts! Put the spinner rims on too while you're at it." I wish Highland Tire did more than just tires. :-) I HIGHLY recommend them!!

After having a nightmare experience with Sams Club where I ordered 4 new tires for installation and they told me they could only put two of them on because they stripped the lug nuts so badly that they would have to cut them off and it would cost me an extra $60 I told them to return the tires and demanded my full refund. The smartest movie I made was going to Highland Tire where they were able to give me a better set of tires for an even cheaper price than Sams, they also had no problem removing the lug nuts and I was in and out within 40 mins tops. These guys know how to treat their customers, they are very genuine and I have never had a bad experience in dealing with them after all the years I have gone to them. Lesson learned-stay away from the morons that work at Sams/Sears and stick with the professionals here.
