They work fine, and pump gas O.K., and you can pay at the pump (10 cents off per gallon with a BP card), BUT . . . they show loud commercials on a screen while you pump gas, and I just think that is annoying . . . Also very rude when we went up to the counter buying our items. He was never at the counter but as we sat down in the corner with out hot dogs he was just standing there staring at us, not going around the store like he usually did. This guy has issues. Not to mention there was missing ingredients in the hotdog but we only noticed when we got home, and I wasn't too keen on going back to Buffalo Bill behind the counter.

So many of the new stations are so sprawling that cars can come at you from a a number of directions. Second, the Marathon fuel they sell has TopTier added to their gas. I'm not a chemist so for all I know it could be the worst thing on earth. But Consumer Reports, and more importantly Costco, state TopTier is a good thing. Third, although the fuel is Marathon, the station itself is locally family owned along with the attached auto repair garage and neighboring car wash.

Years ago, Broughton and Brownsville intersection was realigned and this was the result. I seem to like this gas station. There is a lot of room on either side of the islands. Today, I saw a sign that you can now pay at the pump with their app. The more comfortable I get using contactless payment, the less I want to take out a credit card. So I downloaded the app and tried it today. The only thing I would prefer is support for using Apple Pay instead of having to put my credit card info into the app. So to use the app, it prompts you for the pump number and then authorizes the pump. Then you pump as usual, and when you return the hose it prints out your receipt. You can also go into the app and see past receipts. If you're a shop n save shopper, you can link your loyalty card in the app as well. Hopefully this is supported at other Sunoco's in the area. I will use it a lot!

It's also a veteran-owned small business, which makes supporting it even better. Display cases were full of baked goods such as cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, cruffins, tarts, cakes, breads. I have been to the Mediterranean, and I thought that most of the baked goods here were not Mediterranean. While I waited in a slowly moving line of other customers to order from the bakery, I browsed the shelves in the market. I saw cheeses, bottled beverages such as wines, packaged foods such as grape leaves, and chocolates. I could not find price tags on all foods, so I recommend that those be added. I purchased three baked goods for a total of $15. I rate the croissticky as 5 stars, the cinnamon roll as 3.5 stars, and the raisin-oatmeal cookie as 4 stars.
