I gave them $3000 deposit to get them to do something, anything. well after waiting 6 months we demanded a refund and had the truck towed elsewhere, of course the only refunded me $269 dollars, the mech where the truck was taken said there wasn't even $1200 work performed. debating on taking them to the magistrate. well now I have a reason to take a vacation to Haiti, so I can acquire a voodoo with the owners name printed all over it . worst business experience of my lifetime. It you feel like going along a path that could lead to homelessnes, loss of employment and all sorts of stress, and being ripped off, and you have only one vehicle this would be the place to take your car! i Certainly would have no problem recommending someone to this den of fools, if it was a mortal enemy or my ex-girlfriend. what they did is absolutely so ridiculous and weird over the course of the past 5-6 months with this truck of mine it's difficult to explain to anyone. I'd ask the one employee thats a former friend.,"do you want me to bring a deposit?" He says no the owner isn't worried about it. Cut to a month and a half later, after finally getting past the troglodyte who runs their office like a clown college, they tell me "durrrr, we were waiting on you to bring money down." (Picture someone with drool and a morose look on their face). And on and on it went till the final crescendo of stupidity in this entire summer orchestra of frustration, stress, by this maestro of buffoonery the fools of Ross Paint and Autobody. I'll give them this much. It makes for one helluva story. clowns one and all.

I drive an older BMW X5. As a used BMW owner, i have very few options for service.. Bobby Rahal or…read moreOpeka. Both do good work, but both charge outrageous amounts for minor things and criminally high amounts for anything above minor repairs. Thank goodness i discovered Frank's Tire in Bethel Park. A non-descript shop towards the end of Industrial Blvd. The magic here is not in the fancy show room or lobby, the magic lies directly with Frank himself. My vehicle was leaking every fluid but gas. I told him that i just want to pass inspection and at a cost somewhat less than the entire value of the car. Frank tackled the problem, performed the open heart surgery and resolved the multiple leaks. He also suggested, but did not insist upon, some logical upgrades to parts that were now more easily accessed with the engine casing off. We discussed pricing... we both realized that even though the repairs made logical sense, they just didn't make good financial sense if we're just looking to keep the car another year and pass inspection. Here's where i really appreciate Frank's approach... he really looks at the situation from the customer's point of view, not just from his shop and his business interest. He understands that a happy satisfied customer will sing his praises and that positive praise will in the long run be more valuable than stiffing the customer for more expensive repairs that the customer didn't want or need. In the end, i paid a little more for the repairs than i wanted but honestly i know i paid only a fraction of what i would have paid at Bobby or Opeka. He saved/extended the life of my favorite work horse X5 (v8 4.4.) for at least another year, but judging by how sweet the engine sounds now... i just might keep this beauty around another 2 or 3.. we'll have to see. If you want an Auto Repair shop that you can trust and will work with you based on your and your car's individual situation... there's only 1 place i would go in the South Hills.. and that's Franks.

I called and they immediately told me to come in and they would fix it quickly. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and on my way. The guy working the front desk was super nice and helpful and even spoke to my Dad on the phone. I don't know much about cars or tires but seemed like a fair price for the situation and service I received! Would definitely recommend!
