Dropped his car off and they call to say he needs new back brakes and rotors. My son being in college, decided he would put them on with his dad to save some money. When he picked up the car, he asked when he could bring it back to be re-inspected and the guy said he was booked for the next 3 weeks. In other words, because he wasn't making money, he would not re-do the inspection. Charged my son $50 for nothing, didn't even put an emission sticker on. The car is only 2 years old. I prefer going to a mechanic who doesn't want to take advantage of a college kid.

I met Justin Pons when he was being a Good Samaritan. In the middle of frigid temperatures before…read moredawn, he waited outside the gym because my car headlights were left on and he didn't want my car battery to die and leave me stranded. I think that action itself shows a lot about Justin's character and the pride he takes in his car services. I have been going to Pons Auto Service ever since, and his kind, thoughtful, and meticulous service has kept my car running smoothly over the past four years. I have had very bad car service experiences before, and when I told Justin about that, he went the extra mile to ensure that he always provided the utmost detail, explanations of services rendered when I had questions, and timely updates. Honestly, his car shop has restored my ability to trust car guys again with the exemplary service that he has provided. I have full trust and faith in Justin that he will always provide the necessary car services without overcharging or "fixing" things that don't need to be fixed. Justin goes the extra mile to not only get the job done right, but does so honestly and transparently. I really appreciate the work that he has put into my almost twenty-year-old vehicle and he has kept it in excellent shape since I have been coming here. Pons Auto Service deserves all of the business and I will tell everyone I possibly can at every chance I get to come here and support this small business! Thank you for all you do, Justin!

I rarely leave negative reviews because I respect business owners, but the extreme lack of…read moreprofessionalism here forced me to make an exception. I scheduled a state inspection a month in advance and took time off work to ensure my vehicle was ready for an upcoming road trip. When I arrived, the shop was closed with nothing but a note on the door. There was no text or call to give me a heads-up. To make matters worse, I had already purchased a Groupon voucher that is now non-refundable. If they had at least texted or called to let me know that plans had changed, I would have had ample time to reschedule the appointment with a different mechanic and not miss my road trip. These guys might be skilled at what they do, but their terrible communication and lack of respect for a customer's time made this one of my worst service experiences ever.
