They have a solid drink selection in the cooler and all the exclusive chips and snacks to refill on a pit stop or for your late night snack run for the GreenField, Squirrel Hill, Homestead/Munhall residents. Energy Drinks, Fresh Krispy Kreme Donuts and giant 69 cent drinks in the vein of 7/11's really rounds out your wants and needs. Getting in and out of this place is easy, the gas is priced right and as a bonus they also have restrooms. This location is fairly new in its build so the edges are dust free the bathrooms are generally clean and everything just has that I'm new come in and enjoy me feel. There are people coming in without masks and the employees don't say a single word. They need to limit the people entering if they cannot staff this facility. Beyond this they are doing absolutely nothing to social distance. The isles used to be marked. The capacity of the store should be maybe 10 customers at a time to safely run this store. This is profit over people plain and simple. If you cannot run your business properly then close it down.

This particular location is located in Jeannette, and it is open 24 hours per day. My husband and I needed to fill up the gas tank in our SUV with premium gasoline. A pump was available for our use, so we did not have to wait in a line of vehicles. The price of $4.999 per gallon was comparable to what other gas stations charge, and we experienced no waits or malfunctioning with the pump. Note: If you are a member of Giant Eagle's rewards program, then you can earn Perks here and later redeem them for discounts on gas and groceries. We did not use the convenience store or the GetGo Cafe, so I cannot comment on them.

To note it is at a very busy intersection on Route 30 in Jeannette. This sits between two red light intersections, on a busy day this can be quite a chore to get in and out of. With it being brand new the location has all the bells and whistles. The gas island is set off to one side of the lot making it fairly easy if you are just getting gas. There is also a free air spot for your tires. The store portion is pretty great. It has that industrial feel. It has all that you would expect to find when it comes to convenience. This location also has a fairly extensive selection of beer and wine. The hot prepared food section is rather nice looking. I cannot speak to the speed or quality of the food as I was just looking for a quick drink after fueling up my vehicle. One added bonus at this location is kind of hidden. Prior to this being a GetGo a PNC Bank sat at the location. PNC didn't completely go away. In the back right corner there sits a drive up ATM, brought to you by no other than PNC.

This crew is so kind I've even been able to get a ride home on the rare occasion that im having a problem getting a timely Uber. Highly recommend this store to locals and those passing through. Finally a BP gas station with competitive prices is also located on site. Bravo!

They only carry Ultra-Pasteurized Organic Milk, which doesn't taste as good as plain pasteurized. The only benefit to Ultra-Pasteurization is to increase shelf life. Also, I recently bought a container of Cole Slaw from the prepared foods bar. The container was only about 3/4 full and the price was $9.47, which is ridiculously overpriced. The Cole Slaw tasted horrible, seriously, the worst Cole Slaw I ever ate. Lastly, I hate those yellow sale signs. They are so deceiving because you think you are getting a sale price, but when you get to the register, you pay a higher price if you are not a prime member. Ever since Amazon took over Whole Foods, they just aren't as good as they used to be. Meh, No Cheers!

Not only is there such a wide variety of tasty food at the Whole Foods buffet, but you actually feel healthy eating it, and you can make it highly nutritious. You can get excited about the salads, or the roasted vegetables, or the orange chicken, or even that herb feta that you can quite frankly put on anything and everything. The way they make their orange chicken is honestly my favorite. I'm not usually someone who gets excited about orange chicken, but the way they do it here (it's just amazing) and hard to beat. I also love that I can mix together a bunch of healthy salads at once, and I really appreciate the flavor profiles and the freshness (it just elevates the whole experience). I'm honestly forever inspired by this place. It makes me want to look up recipes, learn how different flavors go together, and experiment on my own. It's as much a learning experience as it is a health experience. Anyway, I know it's not cheap, but for me, it's still really worth it. It's consistently something that makes me feel "renewed" so I'm going to keep it as a part of the routine as long as I can afford it. Another cool perk is that if you're a Prime member, you get 5% back if you use your Chase/Whole Foods/Amazon setup. And honestly, the customer service at Chase Bank is the best, and Prime is convenient, so it all just goes together; and while I realize they're kind of taking over the world right now (they are), they're doing it in a way that works for me, so it is what it is. Also, the kale salads (people really need to understand how good kale can be when it's done right) are nothing short of life changing and it can give you the inspiration you need to make it yourself. In addition to the hot bar, they also have specialty items I can only really find here (like Pacha bread, seed crackers, unsweetened coconut yogurt, broccoli greens, organic baby kale greens, and a bunch of other unique, healthy options that are honestly really exciting). That said, baseline prices are definitely high. For example, tart cherry juice at Whole Foods is literally around $14, whereas at Target (across the street) it's more like $5. So it's one of those things where you kind of have to go back and forth and be strategic about what you buy where. Let's face it, Whole Foods is not leading the world in cheap prices. Because it's pricey, you do have to be real and shop at other grocery stores when you can, but every time I go, I can't help myself from getting at least a little bit of the buffet food if it's open, because that's really where it's at.
