The person at the hostess stand, said that we could have the first table as you walk into the restaurant. But it is a six top. I asked her if we could have a smaller table and she said that she was taking turns with seating for the waiters. So I could wait until somebody else decided to come into the restaurant and then she could sit that family at the six top and then I could go to the other side and sit at a four top. Is this my problem? Does any of this make sense? Now here I am waiting for my food that I placed 40 minutes ago and my waitress has not stopped by once. She just walked by our table and never offered us refills. You would think that the empty beer bottle and glass at the end of the table would be a clue. So now the manager comes out and tells me that they had to have somebody prep the calzone dough and they are just now going to make it. What the heck is going on with this restaurant? Did she offer us refills on our drinks that were sitting at the end of the table empty? No. Did she offer to bring us an appetizer for our inconvenience? No. So before I have even received my food, I have had poor service from the hostess telling me I have to wait for a table in an empty restaurant, poor service from my waitress who is mad that I am a two top sitting at a six top, poor service from management who doesn't know how to handle the fact that I've been here for over 45 minutes with no food. Proceeds to tell us that she rang it up right, but they made it wrong and I tell them about my experience with the hostess. She says she will send the manager out to talk with me. I have just found out that the hostess and the manager are the same person! First thing the manager does is apologize for greeting us at the host to stand the way she did. She then tells us that she is going to comp our whole bill. One beer, one soda, one calzone, and one small cheese pizza. I appreciate you paying for our bill. But I would be extremely grateful if I had my food after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting here. Did not have to pay for any of our meal. Thank you. Very kind. However, I went to enjoy a night out for pizza and beer. Too stressful. Not happy overall.

She made the pizza as I requested and went that extra mile with the Customer Service I recommend this place to everyone and their family. The pizza is amazing. Great customer service. I'm definitely gonna be going back. Probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. Would it be a rockstar and show that you appreciate customers. The hollandaise sauce was okay, a good balance to the sausage and bacon. All that on the first visit. The next time I stopped by, I was not as impressed. The service was good, but not as outstanding as the first time. The kitchen staff must have been overwhelmed with orders because the food was salty and the sauce, still not spectacular, toned down the saltiness so that was a positive, but it was missing the same wow factor for me. There's also a breakfast buffet but I don't know if it's open to all or only hotel guests. There's also a coffee shop attached to Mama Jo's and the coffee has been good, but a bit overpriced. Still, it's a break from the chain stores and will get you on your way. It's a 3 1/2 star place for me, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and round up.
