This sports bar had televisions all around us & bearded men alone at the bar. There was a door off the bar to the casino. The staff was friendly & the menus were sticky. Jose's waited on us, she moved quickly The salads look good, but we decided to split a Sicilian pepperoni roll with 1265 cal. The pepperoni rolls were very salty, all I tasted was the salt. Came in from out of town just trying to grab some food and watch the 49ers-Colts Tuesday night game - the only game on, so you'd think it'd be hard to mess up. I sat at the bar where three TVs were showing the game, but apparently each one subscribed to a different universe. One was 10 seconds behind, one was ahead, and one was... doing its best. To make it even better, the audio was five seconds ahead of all of them, so I basically got spoilers from the speakers before the play even happened. It was like watching the NFL with a psychic commentator. I asked the manager about it, and she shrugged like syncing TVs in 2025 was advanced alien technology. According to her, nothing could be done. Not a button. Not a switch. Not even a "let me try." Service was rough, but they were clearly understaffed and the bartender was new, so no blame there - they were hustling. Management, on the other hand, was about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine. No support for staff, no support for guests, just vibes. Overall, if you want to watch a game in three different timelines at once, this is your spot. If you want a normal sports bar experience... maybe try literally anywhere else. read more

Never going back! Used to go often with family but the last few times had terrible service. Waitress dropped food in my lap when serving it. Another time waited 45 minutes for food after ordering, only 4 people in our party. Went in with my friends the day after Halloween and had a very poor experience. The waiter did not want to engage or be anywhere near our table the entire time. She had a very poor mood but the worst of it was yet to come. I order Mac and cheese bites a there was a huge black hair that was baked into it which I bit into. I brought it to their attention and they took the plate and acted like it never happened. I asked to at least comp my appetizer but she said cause I ate half of it she couldn't take it fully off. This was my first time ever at an Old Chicago which I had good recommendations for food and drinks. I sat at the bar as I was all by myself. I ordered a beer and was waited on right away. My server Chris was very up beat, seemed to enjoy work and just gave the bar side an up lifting spirit. So thank you Chris! He recommended the Shrimp pasta and so I ordered it. I got it and unfortunately I did not care for it. I felt bad and offered to pay for it but Chris told me he was going to take care of it. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, it was amazing. In town for just a couple of days, I drove by this place a few times. The parking lot always seemed to have quite a bit of cars. Curious, I stopped in for a beer. They have a pretty big selection on draft. I wasn't hungry, but did look over the menu. I would really liked to have eaten as food I saw around the place, looked tasty! But I had already eaten prior to stopping in. There are numerous TV monitors throughout the place. I sat at the bar so service was virtually instant. The bartender Julia was nice. A big surprise to me was that apparently, it was late night happy hour...meaning my beer was half off! It's on a rare occasion that I find a late night happy hour on a Friday night. Whew... just don't do it. Period. Our server was great but that doesn't mean you'll get good food, or drinks promptly, or what you ordered. Somehow they forgot our side salad, side fries, anything at all I actually asked to be on my pizza, or actually make decent food. Overall the worst experience I've had in longer than I can remember. Oh and the kicker is if you sit in the back left of the bar you'll be able to smell what one can describe as septic system overflow. My first week in Billings I stopped in to get dinner with my coworkers. The service was great and the waitress was super down to earth. The pasta was great and my boyfriend had a burger. It is definitely worth the price and wait. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is the most recent time we went, we were expecting our same great service but we didn't get the same service as normal. The waitress was short and not very friendly. The restaurant also smelled like sewage. It was very unpleasant and made us feel sick after eating. The waitress also gave us the wrong sauce on the pasta and when asked about it she said it comes that way. I tried to explain every time we have come it was a red sauce not white and she wouldn't let up. After that we hurried up and finished eating then left. We haven't been back due to the experience. I would still say you should go and try it because their food is great but the last experience makes me not wanna go back for a while. read more

However getting in late last night my only choice was to try old Chicago next to the hotel where I was staying . What a mistake! Ordered wings that were not seasoned were very well seasoned, and the blue cheese dressing tasted more like a tartar sauce for fish! Plus 2 little sticks of celery was I they gave me. The pretzel breadsticks are probably the best part of the whole meal as the spaghetti lacked any real sauce and flavor. Service at the front for the take out order was poor. You have a large array of taps but the regular menu doesn't show what's available. The server was super nice and showed me the list so I could order what's not on the menu. There's amazing IPAs but they aren't listed on the main menu. Beer is ice cold, food is great. Wings, spaghetti & meatballs, fish & chips all solid. Plenty of sports all over the screens. Come on "old Chicago" can you get online orders correct? Placed an order for 2 Chicago 7 pizzas, Tavern thin crust, 25 pieces. My fav! Order at 5:09 pm, pizza ready by 5:33pm. I get there and was told another 15 mins, so I waited for 20 mins. Uuuuuggggghhhhh! Get home and pizza is cold, the cheese wasn't melted and my pizza order is wrong! They cut them in big slices. I was charge $26.99 each which I paid for the 25 pieces. Total $53.98 So disappointed! This is the second time we had a problem with our order and will be our last. I'd give them five stars for friendliness and effort. The food, though -- ehhhh. Some things are just outside the control of the order takers. The pizza was overcooked on top and raw on bottom. Half the order was missing (or just wrong). And, for the price, it was a long way from being okay. When the other half of the order did arrive, it almost (almost) rescued the disastrous main course but not by enough. Based on some of the other reviews, maybe I'll try here again, or maybe I won't. Mediocre food and very bad service. Our appetizers came out promptly and were OK. Basic bar food - mozzarella sticks and cheese bread. Then we had a long wait to receive our entrees. They were not that busy, with less than half of the tables occupied. It finally arrived. My husbands salad was very good, fresh and tasty. My sandwich didn't have much meat. I had ordered fresh veggies as my side and they looked like they had been sitting out a long time - dry and limp. I'm not sure our waitperson ever looked us in the eye ... seriously, not once. My husband commented to her that he was sad she didn't like her job, her response was "that is why I have put in my two week notice". I don't recommend this place and we won't be back. read more

I ordered Naked wings - bone in. The wings looked good... I bit into one and thought hot grease squirted down my chin, until I realized it felt cold. When I looked down there was blood on my plate and the table. I wiped my chin and it was definitely blood. The waitress came by. She offered to get the manager. When he came by, he told me the wings were cooked twice... Cooked once, then cooled and stored until an order is placed, then fried. I told him, "This is raw blood... It hasn't been cooked once." He said he could see that, but didn't understand why. He offered to cook my wings again, extra long. I said no at first, but we had a 4 hour drive and I didn't want to have to go somewhere else, so I gave in... Against my better judgement... 10 minutes later, new wings!! I tore these open first... The waitress came along to check on me just as a pool of blood started to form on my plate. She said, "Let me get the manager again." I said, "I don't need him this time. I'm done. We'll take the check." They took the wings off the ticket. I've never had this problem at any other OC, so I don't know what the problem is at the Billings OC. People who order wings with sauce at that location should beware... I could see the blood since they were naked. The blood would have been invisible with sauce. Went to watch the Griz play as we have many times before. We sat right under a tv playing the Griz game. The minute the cat game came on all the tvs in our area switched to the cat game and the volume for the car game was turned up high. They finally agreed to turn one tv (not the one we could see easily) to Griz but it was hard to see and the loud cat game sound was so distracting we ate hurriedly and left. So disappointing. The staff member ( with a trainer shirt on) was so rude. Wish I had gotten her name. She huffed off saying she was getting the manager when we asked to have the tv switched to what was on when we sat down and never returned. A sweet server finally asked to have another tv switched. Observations from a visit since Chicago reopened dine-in due to Covid. We arrived about 3:15 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. All employees are masked. Customers are required to wear masks to enter and leave the restaurant. There wasn't much of a crowd so we had our pick of seating. Our server was masked and very pleasant. She was very attentive. The menu appears to be scaled down. Previously we enjoyed an appetizer sampler platter that is no longer avail. I had the Tuscan chicken pizza on a thin crust. It is heavenly! Placed an order online for pick up, and 40 minutes after the quoted time of completion the manager finally brought out the food (with no offer of a discount due to the long delay). Sadly that is not where the disappointment ended. The fish and chips ordered was inedible due to a strong fishy smell and awful taste.
