I love this shop!! My boyfriend surprised me with a gift card and took me here since I love miniatures. Ms Peggie herself was a total delight and I very much enjoyed the conversation we had with her. She is very genuine and it's obvious she doesn't just look at customers as people to get money from. Their collection of miniatures is unlike anything I have seen! If you want something, she pretty much has it. There is a range of prices so there is something for everyone. She allows you to open the cases on your own and look at anything you want. She is so kind and trusting. Visiting this place was one of the biggest highlights of my year. Can't recommend enough!

So many tiny things!

This was a really fun shop! I called when I arrived - right now it's 12-4 2 days a week due to Covid and she's limiting the # of people in store as it's quite narrow to navigate with slow many cute items! I picked up a few things for my home chemistry lab :) But, she has a ton of beautiful furniture and accessories. If I planned on making more dollhouses I'd be back in a heartbeat!

Already planning my next shopping trip for more dollhouse treasures that my granddaughters will enjoy playing with on their visits.

What a charming little dollhouse shop. So many lovely pieces of furniture, accessories and building supplies to choose from it was hard to decide.

Once broken Dia de los Muertos figures renewed by Michael Sue of Miss Peggie's Place.

I agree with everything that has been posted. However, you may not know that Michael Sue, owner, also repairs broken pieces including clay and porcelain - like the Santa that your cat knocked off the hearth or my Dia de los Muertos figures that a thoughtless carpenter broke when he moved a cabinet to cut some floor moulding - without asking me to empty the cabinet. AGH!!!!! Broken fingers, arms, cane. Michael Sue can put Humpty Dumpty back together again! I would recommend that if you have a broken piece and haven't been able to fix it, run it by Michael Sue to see if she can - before you gunk it all up with glue. Also, it's so interesting to view all the incredible miniatures she has available for your collection - or you might want to start a new hobby.

They have sections based on what your looking for: War games, painting, dnd, and board games. There are very clear sections of the store. We walked around to look at the board games and DnD section, along with dice. We loved the dice selections and play mat selections. We only ended up leaving with a Trans mimic sticker (queer friendly!!) and had a lovely interaction with staff members before leaving. Overall great store set up, clean, nice staff, good selection, queer friendly, and good vibes.

It was more than time to find a local game store. I started the search and came across Brute Force Games. They had a pretty decent website. So I gave the store a call, and asked stupid questions (is this in stock?). While they didn't have what I was looking for, the staff was super helpful and didn't mind the questions. I decided that I would have to stop by the store in person. The overall aesthetics of the shop were amazing. Much larger than I was anticipating - but the layout was extremely well setup. With the cashiers being in the middle, they had 3 different registers going at the same time. While there was still a rather large line, it went by rather quick. The store also had a great selection of products, I was able to find the Alien RPG expansion - which I haven't seen in most stores. They also had a wide range of TCGs, Board Games, Trinkets and Warhammer stuff. While we were shopping there were running a Magic the Gathering tournament - there was plenty of space for both shoppers and players. The entire stuff was quite helpful, and we were able to find everything we were looking for. Overall a very solid experience - certainly one of the better game stores I've been to. Not only is it clean, but there is plenty of room. You most likely find something you are looking for, and the best part is that they are local.

Selection // I have seen some complaints on here regarding their selection and I can't seem to understand why there is frustration/confusion. This is a small store, which means they will have limited products. Overall I think they had a nice selection of toys for babies, toddlers, teens and yes even adults. Some of the most popular items right now are blind boxes from Smiski's, Monchichi and Miffy. I was pleased to see a variety of Snoopy products as well. Again, it is not a large toy store so if you are expecting a vast selection, maybe consider visiting Geppetto's at least for the experience. Value // I would say that this is subjective and will vary depending on each person. Yes, some of the items were a bit expensive and you can find them on "Amazon" for maybe a few dollars cheaper. But I would say if you value supporting local businesses & enjoy the experience of shopping in person, then you will see value in visiting this store. As for the quality of the actual toys, I would say again, that is subjective because the toys are made by different businesses (manufacturers), I would recommend doing research on a specific product it before you buy.

Thank you to Corey for the suggestions, we are so excited to start our new games!…read more We came in here looking for good two player games and solo rpg games. The selection is decent, though a little limited. They seemed to be out of some things but that's okay. We started browsing looking at simple games. Corey asked if he could help and we told him what we were looking for. He said the one we were holding, Rebel Princess, was really fun and he had played it himself. we decided to snag that. He then recommended us Forest Shuffle as a fun game for us too, little does he know that animals like bugs and birds are my entire personality. Such a good read on his part. We loved the game he pitched and took that as well. He showed us around the shop and where to find some amazing used and vintage books (very cool little selection) and where everything else is located. He also suggested me a solo rpg which I will be coming to get! Super thankful for the nice staff and amazing store!

I'm not one of the adults who still collects, but now my girls are all in... and I'm along for the ride! From the moment we walked in, they were welcomed with so much kindness. I didn't catch her name -- she wore glasses -- but she was incredibly sweet to my girls and even gifted them each a Pokémon Trainer Box. It absolutely made their day. They haven't stopped talking about building decks since. They spent the rest of our visit carefully picking out their favorite cards from the mixed singles boxes -- Jigglypuff and Pancham were top picks -- and wide-eyed staring at some of the wildly priced cards (definitely made me wish I'd held onto mine from back in the day!). Here's hoping their new Pokémon passion doesn't completely drain my wallet... but this shop made 2/22 a day they won't forget. Thank you -- especially to the kind employee who went out of her way to make two little girls feel so special. We'll absolutely be back!
