Every single question I had was answered to my satisfaction. We love spending time in our backyard now. This is due to the attention to design and overall aesthetic that they put into each project. I am a high maintenance customer due to my OCD nature. One of the things we found very comforting with the whole process was the fact that the same person (Dave)who came out to assess the project and quoted us on our price was the same person who built and supervised and finished and services the pool. It's a full circle perfect experience! Love!

We were actually really excited to work with him and were looking forward to receiving his quote. He told us he would have the quote to us by Monday, but Monday came and we heard nothing. My husband gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited a little longer before calling. There was no answer, so he left a message. Still nothing. I then tried reaching out through Instagram, thinking maybe there had been a misunderstanding or he had simply gotten busy, but again, no response. What is most disappointing is the lack of communication. If you're too busy to take on a project or decide it isn't a good fit, that's completely understandable--just communicate that. We were genuinely interested and ready to move forward. Being completely ignored after taking the time to meet with someone is frustrating and, unfortunately, left us with a very poor impression.

If you're looking for a team that combines skill, creativity, and reliability, Element Pools is the way to go. Our journey with the Ruff and Ready family began in 2024. We had wanted to put concrete in our…read morebackyard but unfortunately, our funds had to be diverted to replace our AC. Fast forward almost two years later, we were ready to put the concrete in our yard. When I contacted Ruff & Ready, they had our photos, previous quote, and hand written notes still in their portal. I surely wasn't expecting this. Jeff came out to measure the new spot and confirm the scope of work. He was efficient, flexible with his timing, and arrived in the window given. Jeff's quote was not the most expensive nor was it the cheapest. What made us choose Ruff & Ready you ask? Jeff spoke as if what he said would actually happen. And that's how it went! He was transparent, honest, and didn't fluff anything. He got us a quote for the updated work within 24 hours. His office assistant Vanessa answered all our questions and walked us through the timeline of the whole thing, from start to finish, from signing our contract to paying the deposit to when we would begin work to how to pay the remaining balance. Vanessa answered text messages promptly and also answered the phone. No elevator music on the other line, no 'all of our representatives are busy' garbage. The crew who came out was incredible. They were respectful. They didn't blast music or leave trash. They were thorough and adhered to the timeline given. They closed the gate and ensured it was locked each day, which matters to me as a mom with littles. They parked in the street and moved when I needed to get into my garage. We used Ruff & Ready as a test as our current gardener will be relocating soon. We could not be happier with our experience and plan to use them for future backyard projects. Thank you Vanessa, Jeff, and the Ruff and Ready team!

I had a custom desert-style vision in mind and Mike and his crew delivered while being patient and professional throughout the process. We had our backyard done by them and Sam Sr. was our contact. From the beginning there were things…read morethat were unclear and we had to keep clarifying and were constantly told it will cost more. Even with that, we went with them thinking it was just a misunderstanding which happened twice! The job took about a week, no start date was given but it was just a random show up. The last day of the week being Friday, Sam Sr. was rushing to finish and at first, said he would return on Saturday if it could not be completed because Monday he had another job to go to. On Friday, things were rushed and the job was not completed but they claimed it was done. We found that the pavers were not set on the stairs and there were spaces between paver that were not covered with sand properly. Also, the areas where the stones should have been filled were not done and my yard was not cleaned up entirely before they left. I had to send video of my pavers not being set which was later fixed. Also, my husband was upset at the job not being completed and done half fast since he had another project lined up. This is a new construction home. I later had all my windows cleaned only to be told that there was sand stuck on the bottom of the frame of the sliding glass door and could not be easily cleaned due to the rain which clogged my weep holes. I contacted Sam Sr. to come and use his power washer to clean it up. I am extremely disappointed to report that he ignored my calls and messages and then later made an appointment and never showed up. Once they get their money, the customer no longer exists! We are very disappointed as my husband really liked Sam Sr. I do not recommend them. Not only did we offer them drinks daily but also bought him a case of beer! Our neighbors' contractors completed their jobs entirely and also cleaned up their yards once job was complete. This is a standard expectation which was not completed after the completion of our job.
