I really want to thank Matt and John Cordrey Landscape Construction for really coming through for me. I've been trying to get this little project done for over 6 months and it's been so frustrating. Companies come by and give me a bid then ghost me. Or give me a crazy high bid because they don't want to do such a small job. I was open, fit me in anytime - should only take a couple hours. Finally found this company, who responded quickly, gave me an honest and fair assessment, a fair price, and did an outstanding job. John and his team were awesome to work with and they absolutely knocked it out of the park with everything we asked them to do! We started off with just a concrete quote (their concrete work is excellent!), and ended up asking them to do my whole front yard (turf, drip system, stamped concrete driveway border and seating area) and a portion of my back yard (sodded lawn with sprinkler system). We completed a multiphase yard project to our new home which included patio concrete, new irrigation and sod, pool deck and pour in place coping, RV parking, and front yard landscaping with turf, plants and irrigation. Nowadays, it's difficult to find an honest professional with high craftmanship skills. I've worked with many contractors and I can say, John stands on his own category! On a Thursday, he introduced himself and we finalized the decking design, the following Monday - he arrived early and waited 2-hours for the inspector to ensure it all went well. Family operation that is proud of the work they do and are very good at it. On top of that they are genuinely good people and fun to be around. We had pavers installed in the backyard along with a fair amount of sod and a really high quality artificial turf on both sides of the walkway to the front door. I couldn't be happier. WOW, I called John for an estimate and he came out and gave me a bid (showed up early) A week later we were doing demo and pouring my new patio. They even let me make some changes and add extra concrete and change the color. They kicked butt and were done in 2 days! Yes 2 days! Demo, new drains, forms and concrete! My patio turned out better than expected. The crew was professional and cleaned up great after their job as well. We will be hiring John and the crew again soon for our front yard and side yards. These guys were like synchronized swimmers...each one had a job to do and they did it flawlessly and with pride...on top of that it was fun to watch and listen to them having a good time at their work. It was 105 degrees plus most of the time they were here but they powered right through it and put down a ton of cement for me and put in seamless coping around the pool...very awesome work.
