My family and I have been going to them for the last 10 years..... And we bought about five cars from them no problems if I need fixing that will fix it mechanics that work there are very good. Five stars for me.

I was told the whole exhaust system was rotted out. And, it won't pass inspection. Which is this month. Now I know why they don't have the cats inspected before you drive sway, they know they will never pass inspection. I brought the car back this morning an hour and half ride one way to get it fixed or get another one. Valencia said well I can't trade you for another car. I said why? She said and, I quote"because yours has issues". I said yes but it is the same issue you sold it to me with. Then she said the exhaust doesn't need to be replaced it just has a leak. We can fix it for you today for $189.00. I said I'm not paying for that. She said well do you think I'm going to pay for it? Upon purchasing the car I asked about the fumes and fumes and lound muffler they said it was BC it was sitting and was wet. I stopped at Mides mufflers on my way home and yes Honda was correct the whole exhaust system is rotted out, not rusted Rotted. Liears & manipulatours. Its a family owned business of con-artist & thieves. Whatever you do NEVER EVER BUY A CAR HERE EVER!!!!!!! You will be sorry. I have contacted my attorney. I'm not going to take this lying down. I'm going to report them to the BBB. And, the state of NJ Vehicles Commision Dept. When I said i wanted another car on the lot that was in better shape they said I would have to down 3,100.00 up front plus the lemon I was trying to give back. If I'm not mistaken I think extortion is against the law. Not reputable people at all. Very sorry I ever walked in their door. BEWARE!!!!!!

Walk on by! Unless you're a mechanic and scrutinize the car, keep walking. This was my first used…read morecar and this experience soured me on all used car dealers (sorry to the 1 or 2 that are legitimate). I was taken advantage of horribly. They wouldn't let me have the car checked by a mechanic - I should have walked then but, like I said, I was a naive first time used car buyer. After I bought a car and had it checked out, I was told the car should never have been sold and that it was unsafe. It had too many problems to list here. Plus the whole underneath of the car was rusted thru and could fall apart anytime [like it had been in a flood]. Shame on them!

The car was not inspected, but I took it for a test drive, and yes...it seemed to drive well. The problems started after taking the car from Lakewood, NJ. to my home in PA. I took the car to a Lexus dealer to get inspected. The manager and the mechanic both informed me that there was a leak in the gas tank, there was very severe rust on the underside of the vehicle (that it it looked like they had the car stored in a weeded, wet area! EXACT WORDS!!!) and that there was between $5 and $7 K worth of work to pass inspection. They told me that, technically...the car was extremely unsafe to drive and could have caught fire. Luckily, I got a second opinion from my local mechanic. He told me that there was not as much damage as the dealer had stated. $1900 later (and a very kind estimate) the car passed inspection. It needed a new gas tank, breaks and an oxygen sensor. Literally just 2 weeks later, the check engine light comes back on blinking. The ignition coil and another $200 to my local mechanic. He replaced the one ignition coil, but now I'm afraid another may go bad. Now, just a week later...the check engine light is back on. So, to make a long story short...I will be taking about a $3000 loss on the vehicle and trading it in for a Toyota. Through this whole ordeal, I vow NEVER to buy from a "mom and pop" dealer EVER again!

Well, apparently that is the case. Now, with a few hundred bucks spent, (hey, that is way better than 8 thousand!) the Subaru will be on the road, yes, in California! Altho, beware of the California state sales tax! They charged 760.00 to register it!

After they figured that out, that it was in the trunk, they had to reprogram the vehicle. They told us to come back in 45 minutes. When we got back, they told us they were getting gas for the car. A half hour later, we were still waiting, and the car was nowhere to be found. We kept asking about the car, and they kept making excuses. We wasted more than 2 hours, when we made an appointment and were told the car would be ready. NOBODY CARED THAT WE WASTED OVER TWO HOURS. Plus there was a guy there screaming that they had lost his keys since Thursday, and he was being jerked around too. Very unprofessional. And the place felt sleazy, not the surroundings, but the young, slick, self important salespeople who were too busy for someone looking to buy a reasonably priced used car. I would never buy a car from these people. The sales experience was so bad, I could only imagine how bad the service experience would be, especially with the guy screaming about his lost keys.
