Chris Probanski & Chris Mercer are incompetent. Chris Mercer seems to have dementia, and never seems to be able to recall anything he spews out. He specifically repeatedly gaslights any situation, and essentially made a brand new FoundOnRoadDead car that was brought in for routine maintenance... a lemon. Then blameshifts not being able to communicate like a grown professional -- onto Alice, or part corporations that you "deal with".. These people have never even maintained the brake plates.. they look dryer and more rusty than the Sahara's genitalia. Are your mechanics even qualified to service vehicles? I would never buy from Larson Ford again. Bought a "Certified Pre-owned" Expedition there. The last time I was there for an oil change, they said my warranty expires in August. Having some transmission issues in July, so I call for an appointment....go there on way to work...went in late because I thought they'd have a rental or loaner for me. Come to find out, my warranty expired 4000 miles ago. No calls to ask me if I wanted to extend it. Find out when there are issues. Only had the vehicle for a year. Paid 32,000.00 for it and got a crappy warranty. Never again. read more

Car was shipped to Larson from another dealer. The other Ford never fixed it so Larson had to. Picked up the car with a new dent and tear in my brand new wrap. Still waiting to hear back for a solution. I've had my car on the road for hours and the engine is rattling again, and the plastic covering under the cover fell off onto the road. Awful. read more

I bought a 2016 F350 from them and took the extended warrantee due to Diesel trucks are tricky to work on. The factory plan was 3/36 so in my forth year with 41,000 miles rear brake light on cab roof started to leak. I went to dealer and was told my plan didn't cover it and it would cost 200+ to repair it! I went home and applied silicone to light and problem solved. I called to cancel the 2700 plan that should have kicked in after the 3/36 and was told I would get 900 back! But I had to wait to speak with a manager who was supposed to call me. He never did so I have to call them again. Prior to this I also purchased a used Lincoln MKC from them. Now I have spent over 70K at this dealership and on the invoice for the MKC there was a 399 dollar charge to "prep" car. Ok I made a deal on car so I paid it. After a few months I went in for my "free" oil change and while I waited a long time like over half an hour for the oil change the technician came over to me and said I needed a wheel alignment, an air cleaner, and a cabin air filter! I explained they charged me 400 to prep car a few months before and he told me wheel alignments "go out" often and they were not responsible for that. I also said if preped car should have gotten new filters before they sold it to me and charged 400 prep. He shrugged his shoulder and said they were maintenance items and not covered. I told him to blow ait thru the engine air cleaner and reinstall it as I would replace it myself later. As for the wheel alignment I said when I put new tires on car I will do it. He then explained it was "just a little out". I traded that vehicle a year and a half later never having done the alignment and not needing new tires at all. As for the second free oil change I decided to cut my losses and do it myself. Never been back since the light issue but still trying to get refund on extended warrtantee plan. read more

He seemed to rush the whole process, which I did not appreciate, and by the end of the ordeal he was visibly upset about something. We just got up and left after he stated " We have nothing else to talk about then. But let me go ask my manager...." He will also be sure to tell you he has " Been here for 22 years" and that " this isn't his first rodeo." It didn't seem the case though. Specially after getting upset over negotiating numbers.... Disgusted with Larson Ford! On February 24th, my husband and I drove over an hour and a half in the rain, to take a look at the 2015 Lincoln MKC "Black Label" that was listed on their website. A beautiful red. As soon as we got there the salesman noted that the vehicle next to it had a better package. I told him the red was marked on the website as a "Black Label" as well, and that is when it sunk in...that neither of them was. I was fuming! I told the salesman it felt like a bait and switch..lure someone out and sell them a lesser vehicle. After much deliberation and reviewing the paperwork in the office ( and that we had driven such a long distance for nothing) on the 2015, we agreed to test drive the 2015 Lincoln MKC Reserve that had 14,000 more miles than the original car we had come out to see. It was a beautiful Smoked Grey with a Hazelnut interior...we loved it. We went inside to discuss a possible purchase and negotiate the fact that this was not the car as advertised on the website. (they blamed the fact that the advertising company put in the wrong info, even though they had the car for 3 months ? and no one noticed it was the wrong description...really) I offered them $21,900 for the vehicle...$2k below the asking price...wasn't a Black Label and our duress...the salesman seemed to think it wouldn't be a problem. Ha, not a penny off! next came out the used car manager with an attitude...and I had had enough of the run around and got up from the desk in disgust..an hour and a half drive and over two hours at the dealership! read more

Never bought here, this is a review of the service dept. I had to have some work done on my 12 year old truck, and ended up getting towed to Larson Ford on route 88. It was midday on a Friday, they were busy, so Mitch told me he would call me later with an estimate. Later that same day, he called and said it would be "a few days and about $900" to repair my truck. It turned out taking a week to repair, and costing $1335, which is about %50 over the estimate, in time as well as cost. You can imagine how upset I was. After I got home, I posted a ridiculously negative review here on Yelp. It was a knee jerk reaction, and quite immature now that I look back on it. But understand that I was very angry with the whole experience. What a difference a day makes. The next business day after I departed the dealer, Lewis (Louis?) called to discuss my dissatisfaction (their cashier had asked about my satisfaction, to which I responded negatively). He listened to my concerns and could not have been nicer in reacting to them. He understood how I felt and in the end he offered a $350 refund. That surprised me, a lot. Most places might say "we understand but we can't do anything for you." Not Larson Ford. They genuinely care about customer experience and satisfaction and I appreciate that. Their rep turned a terrible experience into one that was much more tolerable. In the future if I need service again, or I am considering a purchase, I won't hesitate to visit Larson Ford. Also, I want to apologize for my harsh language in my previous review. That was posted in the heat of the moment, and was moderately embarrassing after rereading it. Service Dept horrendous to deal with, had my vehicle for 4 days for a clutch repair and oil change...driver side keypad was what took the 4 days to repair. Upon pickup of the vehicle still not repaired. Apparently service dept does not know how to repair ford products.... Was told i could either wait for another keypad to be delivered and installed while i waited or i could take my vehicle and reschedule for keypad to be fixed another time. My boyfriend and smell it so I thought maybe I was crazy until we left and saw five different sales people standing right outside the doors smoking. Where do I begin. First, I brought my car in for trans issues at 80k miles. I just got this car less than a year ago. Come to find out i had lots of issues, most not covered under warranty. How convenient. I was charged over $100 although no one in the office knew why. Come to find out it was taxes but so be it. I let Mitch Sperling know my father worked for Larson and my friend is a mechanic. Mitch told me I need spark plugs which would run me $400 because it was "so labor intensive". My father, the mechanic who worked for Larson, tells me he can have it done in an hour for $30. I am beyond livid that I spent so much money on a car, the warranty covers almost nothing, and the minute I got it back I had even more issues than I had to begin with. I never wrote a review before for any business, I refrained from writing this review, but after sending a certified letter to the owner explaining my situation about buying a car at Larson Ford and getting no response I'm gonna tell my story.I'm 62 years old and have purchased about 20 new cars in my lifetime. When I purchased my vehicle at Larson it was and is a horrible experience. I made a deal w/ them that would include leather seats, Sirius radio, Floor mats,and a ding fixed on the side. When I went to pick up the van a week later the leather seats where done the Sirius Radio was a small little device that was installed on the passenger side.( The manager said that the radio costs several hundred dollars but on Amazon it was only $50.00 bucks) The ding was not fixed and no floor mats. I went back inside and said I will not take the car until everything is fixed, The manager said we did not fix the ding because it rained out,I replied the painting is done inside and not outside.I was so upset that I requested my deposit back, he said we have no money now and I replied mail me a check and my wife and I left. When we arrived home I had to explain to my 4 grown up children why I did not come home w/a well deserved new car. A few days later they called my wife and said they would correct everything. When we finally took the van the radio did not work (A.M & F.M) I told them and brought it back several weeks later, there reply was that there was nothing wrong and there is bad reception in Lakewood, I told them that people in Lakewood do not listen to there radio's not matter what kind of car, also I don't live in Lakewood and drive to New York everyday and radio does not work anywhere.I made another appointment several weeks later, I told them I would need a loaner car and they said they would get me one a Hertz. When I got there they drove me to Hertz, after spending 1/2 an hr. at Hertz I went back to Larson and told them they could not give me the car because I did not have a credit card I only have a debit card. The service manager did not try to accommodate me in anyway, instead he said we will reschedule w/ no remorse for my inconvenience. Meanwhile I live 45 min.away and have to drive to New York to my business. The bottom line is that the owner does not care and neither do his employees. Not one person at that place care to give me the proper care that I deserve. Very sad situation buying a car at Larson. read more

I have purchased 3 cars from Larson Ford over the years. I called the service dept to get my 2014 Focus, fixed, no problem. The problem is with my 2005 Mustang and the air bags. The new bags are not available .I got the recall letter in July. I've known about this for months even before the letter. Come to find out both front airbags have been recalled. What a surprise! Are we suppose to drive around in cars that may harm or kill us when the they are suppose to protect us? read more

Truck was brought in for repair. The service department here just kept changing parts claiming it to be the problem. After having the truck for 15 days and charging me over 1200$. I was told it only had a miss and needed plugs and wires.That they wanted another 600$ to change. That is when I picked the truck up. Upon leaving the dealership the truck was worse then when it went in. The truck barely made it home. After getting it home I found the truck was not put back together before it was released. The interior was left covered in grease.I put it back together and the original problem still existed. So I changed the plugs and wires that I was told was the only problem left. The problem still existed no change at all. So I started with the basics. I found the alternator voltage was low. I changed the alternator and the problem was fixed. I do not know how it is possible for a dealership with certified mechanics to be unable to figure this out. read more
