The brisket and gravy were delicious, super hearty and satisfying without being too heavy. Even the eggs stood out--their bright orange color and rich taste made it clear they use high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is such a standout--it has this charming, nostalgic "grandma's house" feel with fun decor that makes it feel cozy and unique. On top of that, the service was amazing from start to finish--so welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a memorable brunch experience.

A lot of what they serve feels homemade, which makes a difference. The ambiance has this cozy, old-school vibe, and the customer service has been consistently great every time I've gone. Plus, the portions are generous, definitely not leaving hungry. Prices are a bit higher than your typical breakfast spot, but honestly, it makes sense for the quality you're getting. It is a smaller space, so I recommend going early to avoid a wait or just plan ahead and make a little date out of it. There are cute shops nearby, so you can walk around while you wait. My favorites so far: the spicy chilaquiles and the steak and eggs. And listen, I'm not even a big meat eater, but I've ordered the steak and eggs three times in a row... that's how good it is. Highly recommend trying it at least once.

The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, and you can tell he genuinely cares about both the customers and the experience he's creating. The food was immaculate. Everything came out beautifully plated, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really see the attention to detail not only in the presentation, but also in the quality of the ingredients and preparation. Every dish looked picture-worthy and tasted just as good as it looked. What stood out most to me was how warm and inviting the entire experience felt. It's rare to find a place that has amazing food and such genuine hospitality. Definitely one of those spots you almost want to keep secret because it's that good. I'll absolutely be coming back soon and recommending this place to friends and family.

The cafe itself has a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly, so I definitely wanted to like it more than I did. Unfortunately, the food was pretty lackluster for the price and the hype. Nothing tasted terrible, but nothing really stood out either. What really threw us off was when my friend's omelette came out with what looked like a Kraft Singles slice melted on top. At a cafe trying to have a more elevated brunch vibe, that just felt cheap and disappointing. Overall, I still appreciate having places like this in the area and maybe we just caught them on an off day, but the food quality didn't really match the experience we were hoping for.

Once we were ready she had our table already prepared. We have to order inside first before you can be seated. Once seated our food came out not too long after. Everything looked and tasted delicious! We ordered the chilaquiles verde, short rib omelette, tropical pancakes (seasonal), and the mango curd french toast (seasonal). The chilaquiles verde was savory and tangy. It wasn't soggy at all and definitely one of my favorite dishes. The short rib omelette was savory but didn't give me any wow factor compared to the other dishes I ordered. The tropical pancakes were so pretty. I only tried a piece of it without the syrup which I think was a mistake because the kumquat syrup was my friend's favorite. I definitely need to try it again with the syrup. Best for last, mango curd French toast was my favorite! I fell in love with sweetness and tanginess of the mango curd. The French toast was soft and you can taste the butter. I wish it was a main menu item. I'll definitely be sad to see it go. They have lots of seating inside and outside.

I had, the hobo: cottage fries mixed with bell peppers, onions, jack and cheddar cheese, with two eggs. I chose sausage as my side. We split the most delicious pancake I have ever had in my life. I am still questioning how that immaculate masterpiece was created. Just wow. The place itself is small. Think counter seating with only 2 dining tables off to the side which seats 4 but crowded. If you love each other, or like each other enough, you'll make it work. Our server was so pleasant. This restaurant is quant, warm, cozy, welcoming, and will create a disaster of a wait if you're not there early enough. I guarantee you the food is worth the wait though! Cash only establishment which I respect because the prices are reasonable and far exceeds the quality of food you get. I will be back, sooner than later! Don't forget to order a pancake!

Not too many spots with this ambiance and vibe in SoCal anymore. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was great. Pancakes were a little greasy and the hash browns I got that day were a little too crispy, but I felt the pricing was fair, the quality reflected that, and the food was tasty. There is extremely limited space inside and they close quite early but it's such a unique diner experience. Definitely time traveling when you take a step inside. Looking forward to returning and trying more items, the biscuits and gravy looked great.

This is just my opinion and experience with plenty of breakfast spots. The shrimp and grits are very good, and you do get a healthy portion, but for 20 plus dollars,it does not come with any breads at all,but you have the option of ordering separately at an additional cost! The ambiance is bright and refreshing, restrooms clean, and plenty of parking in lot(formly the Sizzler). I happen to attend on a Monday evening for bingo it was really fun! I won twice that evening, your first card is complimentary with a $10 purchase of something, thereafter, the cards are $5 per game. You get to spend a winners wheel for lots of prizes, including cash! Now I ordered a pastrami sandwich, and when I tell you it was disgusting, it was awful, the meat was fried to a crisp,I thought it would be steamed pastrami meat(my bad)! It also came with grilled onions,if you happen to go for onions on your pastrami sandwich. I chose sweet potato fries, which tasted like they were cooked in meat grease! Just horrible! I will never order that again! Will I return and try other items from the menu, yes, the pastrami sandwich just isn't the right choice for me, you may like it lol!
