This place was on our list to visit while we were here and it did not disappoint. Most of the places here charge an entry fee, but you normally leave with something. This place had so many things for the kids to do! I was wowed by all the characters they had interacting with the kids, photo ops, rides, and just all around area for the kids to run around. read more

This visit was underwhelming. The pumpkins they allowed my kid to choose from were all very small. The play areas around the property needed some maintenance. A lot of the swings, seesaws, and such were wobbly and needed to be tightened. The tee pee was filled with mold. Milking a cow was advertised on the website , but I only saw a horse and a donkey. The corn pit needed way more corn kernels. Overall the experience was very sub par . We've had better experiences at other places. read more

So im here on a field trip with my son and his school and i must say thisnis a nice spot. Kid friendly and educational hints. There was a lady that explained pumpkins origin, how to care for them, what they are used for and etc. Did not know but pumpkins are in the squash Family.....so please bring CASH folks. It is a $3 card charge on your purchase. I was so caught off guard. There's rows of pumpkins kids can choose from as well as a little area to decorate them once you pick the pumpkin of your liking. There's hills, okd carriages, corn field, swings, slides, ziplines, jump area, etc. Each area had a kids story or poem to read while playing. Theres huhe hay bales but please be careful because kids were getting hurt from wreckless playing. Overall bring your little ones down and grab your camera for a fun filled patch! read more

If you are looking for some good wholesome fall season fun for your child/children, Mrs. Heather's Pumpkin Patch may be just what you're looking for. Admission for adults is free and it's only $7.00 per child, which includes a free pumpkin from their pumpkin patch. There is ample parking for a few hundred cars and there was even an armed deputy directing traffic off the main drag, as well as employees directing traffic into the parking lot. As per their website, activities include, but are not limited to: Zip line Jumping Pillow Tunnel Slide Face Painting Duck Racing Pedal Tractors See Cotton Growing Hay Maze Milk a Cow Roll Down the Hill Catch Mrs. Heather telling how pumpkins grow Merry go round Play Horse Shoes Nature Trail Lots of places to take pictures Weigh & Measure your pumpkin Bring a Picnic Lunch Paint a pumpkin (weekend only) Today (10/29/16) was a very hot day in Hammond, so we were grateful that there were 2 large tents with picnic style seating to cool down, rest and enjoy a cool drink or snack. Our son loved the nature trail, especially since it was shaded with large trees. He was also a big fan of the hay maze, cotton patch and the jumping pillow. Although we didn't stay too long because it was so hot, it was still worth the 1-hour drive from New Orleans. However, some of the equipment (swings, pedal tractors & bouncing pillow) is definitely showing it's age and could stand a little refurbishment; which is why I held back 1 star. But it was a good time overall. read more

Mrs. Heather's Pumpkin Patch - Everyone gets to pick a pumpkin to take home. - Kids Activities Near Me - Hammond, Louisiana

Cutest pumpkin patch for kids. Drive from kenner is about 45 min not too bad. Once you get there is when the real fun starts. They have pumpkins everywhere! You can even bring a wagon for your child to roll around in. They have so many different free activities for the kiddos. They have different spots to take photos. You can purchase different types of balloons and whatnot. What I actually don't remember seeing is anything for food concessions. We brought our own snacks. Also if you go there's a lot of walking so make sure you bring a stroller of some sort if your little one cannot walk long distances. Overall minus it being extra packed(we went on a Sunday) def a fun experience and we will def be back! read more

It was awesome! The children had to much fun! We packed our own lunches and drinks that we were allowed to bring in! So many things to do! My suggestion to always go early. They were super packed. We waited like ten mins to go park with other vehicles before us, Not to bad! When we left it was around 2,it was about 3 blocks of vehicles waiting to go in the pumpkin patch! Well the early bird always get the worm! Awesome place! My family and I will be returning! read more

Love this place! I've brought my now 5 year old here every year for the past 4 years and have carried on the tradition with my now 2 year old. Both my girls love it, and they add something new every year. This year they had characters, such as Cinderella in a beautiful carriage and Mickey and Minnie Mouse. They have everything from a big red jump pad and zip line rubber horses to rode to a corn maze and teepee tents. Photo opps everywhere too. Price has stayed at $7 per child with no charge for adults over the last few years and includes a pumpkin to pick out per kid and face painting. We even discovered a nature trail this year and got to roll down the hill till our girls were wiped out and ready for home. The 40+ minute drive back to BR has always been totally worth it too ;-) Can't wait to return next year and do the strawberry patch in the spring! read more

Super siked to spend my day off with my wife we decided to visit Mrs Heathers Pumpkin Patch. My wife read that over 38k people had visted this amazing Pumpkin patch. We drove in from Jackson MS. Confused as we arrived, looking for a stawberry and Pumpkin patch we saw a open field with a few rows of corn.. After paying 10.00 a person we were issued stickers. Right away I noticed little Pumpkins. Little might not by the right word. Miniscule is more like it.. I noticed junk that had been painted with a smiley face and was considered an attraction, although 767 signs saying basically no fun allowed. At the zip line my 109 lb wife went down the line...After crashing into the other side, she has since developed whip lash...This zip line is not safe for children...After being there for 10 minutes I knew I had been bamboozled! This place was a junkyard. No Pumpkin patch or strawberry. Just 4 Gaint grass parking lots with more signs saying what i could not do.. Dont waste your time..The Pumpkin is so small and had to be trucked in...Its a total scam and while Mrs Heathers getting wealthy my day off was miserable! 6 thumbs down... read more

We love this place! Visit every year and also her strawberry patch! Tons of things for kids to play on and do. Wear sunscreen though because there isn't much shade. read more

We had a really great time and there was a lot to do. I'm giving it three stars though bc the day ended bad, the lady at the gate was beyond rude. We aren't from here and didn't know about the "stickers" for the pumpkins, to be able to leave with one. We had wristbands and thought everything was fine. We got to the gate to leave and the lady said we had to pay $10 for a pumpkin. I was confused bc I saw others just walk out and she explained that we "needed a sticker." I then explained to her that we unfortunately didn't get a sticker, we didn't know about them. She told me word for word "they wouldn't just not give you a sticker, my girls don't do that." So I'm annoyed at this point and said "well they did make a mistake, they did not give me a sticker." It was fun but I won't be going back to a place that says "my workers don't make mistakes." That's a crappy attitude, so we left without a pumpkin because I was not giving those people any more of my money. Everybody else was nice besides this one lady by the exit and entrance. Make sure to get the stickers! read more

Mrs. Heather's is the ultimate family-friendly place for homegrown, harvest season fun! Fun just never stops here and I think it has gets bigger and better each year we go. I have been taking my daughter here, since she was 1-years old and now she is going with her elementary school. It's $7/child (adults are free), endless fun with all the available activities and they get to pick a pumpkin to take home. There are no parking fees, covered spots to eat are available (so bring a lunch and/or snack depending on how long you stay), clean restrooms, water & snacks for sale and friendly/helpful staff. In terms of activities: inflatables, zip lining, slides, barrel swings, giant hay stacks for climbing, nature walk, corn maze and tire swings. During our last visit, cartoon characters even made an appearance! Mounds of fun for kids here, so while it's harvest season, take your kiddos here to Mrs. Heather's Pumpkin Patch to burn off some energy! read more

We had an amazing first time at Mrs. Heathers with our babygirl. So much for the kids too do. I love the set up! We look forward to making this a yearly event! read more

Seriously, it's such an action packed place! It only costs $7 per child to get in and you also get to choose a pumpkin. It doesn't cost the parents to get in which is a super plus! There are so many things for the kids to do. See pictures! I also love the fact that you get to bring your own food in so you can do a little picnic there. There are numerous picnic tables every where. I will definitely go back in few weeks. My 3-year old had so much fun! Oh, also, the kids can get their face painted as well! And it's free! There are also few cartoon characters that you can take pictures with. It's just a lot going on!!! read more

I brought my son there for a day of fun and I have to admit he really enjoyed himself especially with the characters.... The only reason I have chosen to give them 4 stars is because while we were taking pictures the person thy was dresses in. The daffy costume was sleeping on the benches, while we were trying to take pictures with her... Lol that was all but everything else was great and not to mention they give you a Pumkin to take home... How great is that? read more

Upon arriving I did not see a pumpkin patch, rather a bunch of little baby pumpkins that look like they were trucked in. The ad that made me want to go there stated that the adults got in free but I was charged $8 and was given a sticker bigger than the pumpkin I received. What was portrayed to be as an amusement park was just a big field of signs every 2 feet stating what I cant do. Heathers pumpkin patch was more like the no fun zone. After visiting with the malnourished mule they have there I proceeded to continue over to the malnourished corn maze filled with smashed pumpkins. I continued to search for the "pumpkin patch" and stumbled upon a field with about 20 of the tiniest pumpkins I've ever seen, I didn't know if it was a pumpkin or a cuties orange. read more

We drove an hour to Mrs. Heather's pumpkin patch just to be told right before we paid that they were out of pumpkins. We were warned before we paid, but we just drove an hour so we weren't going to turn around. They at least shouldn't have charged us. They had plenty of props to take pictures but there was trash and smashed pumpkins EVERYWHERE!!! Don't think I want to go back! read more

We had lots of fun with our three kids. I would say alot of the activities are geared toward younger kids but my 11 and 12 year old still had plenty of fun too. I think some of the advertising is misleading, like milking a cow, it wasn't a real cow, it was fake with rubber utters. But I would feel bad for a real cow bc there was a lot of people there. That being said we never waited long or at all to do an activity. We were disappointed with the corn maze, it seemed trampled from all the people. And we waited til the end to get our pumpkin so we wouldn't have to carry it around, big mistake, we left 30 mins before closing and the pumpkins were picked over, broken, and few and far between. But with all that being said we had a great time for the price. There are endless activities for the kids to do. Def bring lunch with you bc there is no food for miles, these people could probably make a killing if they sold food but all they have is chips and drinks. There is plenty of photo ops and several characters there as well. read more

Such a great place and only $7 a kid plus each child gets a pumpkin. Lots of people but lots of room to run around not to crowded due to amount of things available to do. We went on a Saturday . There's something for every age our two year enjoyed herself very much as did we as a family. Parking takes a few minutes and I seen cars parking in bumpy field but I Personal would take a suv or truck there due to parking in field but no biggy still a great place to walk, play, and explore for a couple of hours ! Cokes and water for $1 bags of chips for 50 cents real reasonable but no acually food so pack a lunch if during lunch hours or go early :) read more

I began taking my son to Mrs. Heather's 6 years ago, and if I'd written this review at that time, it would have been 5 stars. But, boy, has this place fallen into disrepair over the years. Each year, they seem to do away with a fun activity without replacing it or putting any money into repairing the remaining activities. For instance, there used to be an adorable petting zoo- that was taken away; there used to be a large area with pedal cars- also taken away; cotton field- taken away. Almost nothing new, save a few head cut outs, has been added. And it seems nothing has been replaced, despite years of wear and abuse. The zip lines have duct tape at the top of the track, the circular bicycles are ALL missing pedals- some are missing both and can't even be pedaled at all, the decorative buggies are falling apart, the swings are ragged out. I mean, this place takes in an ASTRONOMICAL number of people each year. They need to put some money into fixing it up! It's ridiculous. At $7, I used to think this was a great deal. Now I'd feel very ripped off if it were a dime more. I won't be returning. I'll spend a few more dollars and go to somewhere nicer. read more

Fun! Very family orientated, kid friendly atmosphere. You can pick your own strawberries and chose your own pumpkin to ensure total satisfactory. I go every year! read more

The kids usually have a good time going ever year but I just don't like it. Maybe it's just me. It's always insanely overcrowded. As of late they've been hiring "costume characters" that essentially sit around like dead corpses. Wish they would take the trash out on a more regular schedule. There always seems to be hornets around all the trash cans. Like I said though, kids love it. Admission cost is worth the value. Fellow dads, take a Valium before arrival. read more
