At the end of the trampoline there's a huge pit filled with hundreds of foam blocks. Oh my goodness, so much fun!! Yes, I've been on it several times. :) Try and go bouncing down that trampoline and jumping into those foam blocks without a huge smile on your face, I dare you. I can't be done. It's impossible not to be happy doing that. They also give wonderful birthday parties for children. For $150 you get the entire gym to yourself, all paper products and utensils, and two party workers to entertain and supervise your child and their guests. You provide the food and drinks as well as the cake. Not too bad. You don't have to lift a finger at the party if you don't want to. The party workers handle everything. The other wonderful thing about Gymnastics Plus? Kids Night Out. Every Friday night from 6-10 PM you can drop your kids off for cheaper than what it costs to get a sitter. They play and watch movies, make crafts and are even served a pizza dinner. They are completely worn out when you pick them up and beg to go back as soon as they leave. Guess where my kiddos are going to be every Friday night? ;)

I first took my son here in June or July for the swimming lessons. They said that the person that was supposed to do the classes had an injury so they had different teachers. It was a week long session for 40 minutes in the morning. My son is 2 and a bit and these lessons were advertised as specifically being for his age group. When I got there for the first lesson I met the teachers. They were 3 young girls maybe between 17 and 21 (I'm guessing). It didn't matter though as I assumed that they would have been through some special training on how to teach this age group. They were lovely girls but it was a waste of time. They didn't know how to deal with the children and I just taught my son myself at home. They are probably good for older children but not the younger ones. Following this I decided to enroll my son in a me and my shadow gymnastics class. He's very agile and always jumping around like a monkey so I thought it would be great for him. The teacher Tori was really nice, great with the kids and good at gymnastics. My son really wasn't getting anything out of it though. He didn't enjoy it at all. Then one evening I went there and Tori had sprained her ankle so they said another girl would take the class. She wasn't great with the children, didn't have a plan, was bored and constantly looking at her watch. The class ended early and was pointless. I decided that this wasn't working. I gave it a fair shot of 3 months. I emailed about 2 weeks before the month was starting to let them know that we wouldn't be continuing and was told that I would have to pay for the following month anyway. I don't remember reading this but oh well! Today they called me because when they they went to run my card it said it was invalid. She started talking to me like I was a child and telling me about a $25 fee. I told her that we wouldn't be bringing him back anyway and this seemed to confuse her. I feel like they are greedy and probably good for older children but they arent really great for the younger ones.

I'm very thankful that this gym and his coaches provide a safe environment for him to be a successful gymnast. I'm also grateful that his coaches are such positive male role models for my son and the rest of the team. My son feels like he has a second family at All Star Gymnastics and that makes me happy. All Star Gymnastics offer recreation classes for all ages, competition teams for female and male gymnasts. In addition, they host birthday parties and fun open gym nights. I also would like to add that All Star host NOLA National Invitational every year which in my opinion the best gymnastics competition in the state. I love being a gym mom! Thanks All Star!

There was a place for cake and ice cream, we open presents on the gym mats and the kids had free reign of the facility to play and exercise. balance beams, trampolines, uneven bars, a large foam pit to jump into from a rope.....after that experience we decided to look into classes and John loved them, but we left after 60 days as family was visiting and our schedule was too full. I love that they have a separate viewing room in the mezzanine for parents, only staff and students are allowed on the gym floor during classes. All classes warm-up together and then split off into their groups. The staff is super nice and many have been their for many years. The have gymnastics, tumbling, cheer-leading and more.....There are cubbies to store your wear during a class and the office has snacks for sale from sports drinks and chips to candy and ice cream....I would highly recommend to all and we'll be enrolling John in classes again.....$60.00 per month

I called and texted but never got a response. We attended one session and I was appalled to see her put her hand on kids' necks to direct them. She pulled on kids and would yell at them and didn't seem to have any patience with them. Also, beforehand, over the phone she told me the first class was a free trial. After class, she told me I had to pay $20. That was odd but I paid anyway. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.
